“Huh” Dylan tried, a bit at a loss. How do you exactly respond to a guy dishing out how he’s handling some serious trauma. Who also is the guy that: 1) You pined for months for, 2) survived Hell on Earth alongside, and 3) now surprisingly date.

*Or* One Dylan Lenivy learns a lot about how Ryan is handling himself, somehow with very few actual words exchanged. He sees Ryan "The Enigma" Erzahler a little bit clearer now.

His best and really only solution was pushing North, probably. And his best guess of North was where he pushed onward. Through more wooded terrain and paths, Jacob jogged just as he had for 70% of the night anyway. Now was different though. He had a new goal beyond surviving. And it didn’t involve Emma this time. Well not directly. He had to survive and get that beautiful car moving again.

*Or* Jacob Custos got them in this mess, and he could either lie down like a bitch and die in the forest or he can at least try and fix it. So he's gonna try and fix it. Pray for the guy.
