A woman at a party last year told me, “There’s no place to hide in the desert”. ✨🌵 It rings true now more than ever. These past couple of months have revealed to me patterns so deeply ingrained I had no idea they were even there. Stuck in the hustle and bustle of city life, there are so many distractions. So many things to look at that the last place you wanna go is “inward”. And yet now I’m in so deep I can barely breathe. It’s beautiful. It’s a mess. It’s imperfect. It’s life. And I’m soaking wet in it and drenched to the bone. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Growing is changing. Growing is accepting. Growing is trusting and leaping into the unknown. And I’m shedding my skin like a snake out here, and my face is dry and I’m thirsty all the time. But I know it’s healing I’m really thirsty for. And maybe that’s why we’re all out here. We’re here to get to the root of our most deep-seeded-fears and eradicate them forever. True. There’s no place to hide in the desert. But I’m done running.
