To secure an alliance with Iltabar Muhammad III of Muyunkum whose Aunt is betrothed to our Son and Heir Yesugei, Temujin betroths his youngest Son, Nakhu Borjigin who is just 2 years old to Iltabar Muhammad's Half-Sister, Umay Karakhanid who is also 2 years old. We want to get a strong ally in Iltabar Muhammad who has a 2.3k army, useful in our upcoming fight.
Temujin takes the "Dominate Ob" Decision, which starts a Domination War against the largest ruler in the Kingdom of Ob - High Chieftain Rayda of Vasyugan Mire, and pulls in other smaller rulers, 6358-strong. Our amy size is vastly outnumbered by the defenders, but no matter since we have higher quality troops.
We get into battle after battle with the scattered defenders who did not manage to join up together. We did not need to siege any of their holdings down to get 110% battle score which led to a 100% War Score. Victory! Temujin completely dominates the Kingdom of Ob, becoming its ruler -
...Henceforth, he is known as Khan Temujin "the Griffin" of the Mongols! Our number of Tributaries has also grown to include some of the smaller defenders in the previous Domination War.
Our new Royal Court is in the style of a Great Yurt for a mighty Khan! The Royal Court of The Mongols has Court Grandeur Level 3. We slowly increase some amenities and install our Illustrious Pedestal Item, "Arm of St. George".

In the twilight hours of the morning, a Fedex-like schooner gets dragged down into the depths of The Blue Hole by a squid-esque monster...
In the morning, Dave gets a call from Ellie, a Biology student at the local university who is researching into a certain "anomaly" incident happening at The Blue Hole. Anyway, Ellie asks Dave to collect 2 Agar and 2 Red Starfish for her ecological research.
For our morning dive, we enter The Blue Hole to grab some fish for the Sushi Bar as well as keep our eyes peeled for Ellie's items. Unfortunately, we did not find the Agar or Red Starfish, but we managed to harpoon quite a lot of fish.
For our afternoon dive, Dave is introduced to Duff, Cobra's Weapons friend. Duff requests that we bring him Scrap Iron and Rope, which he can craft a Basic Underwater Rifle out of.
For Dive No. 3, it took us 6mins 24s and we dove down to 41m, but caught just 3 fish and obtained 10 items. Our biggest catch was a Lagoon Triggerfish at 30cm.
We ask Bancho to enhance the taste of our Blue Tang Sushi to Level 3, before opening for business. This time, we put a limited amount of sushi on the menu since we don't have that many customers at the very beginning, and we sold out!
We scored 4.3 stars and earned 4 Artisan's Flame. Tonight's profit was 56 gold, with the Top Seller being Blue Tang Sushi at 26 gold earned from 2 units.
Day 3 morning, we meet Dr. Bacon who wants us to find evidence of the existence of The Sea People on our dives. In exchange, he upgrades our Diving Suit to Level 2 for free.

Today, we begin a new game - Dave The Diver! It's about an obese diver named Dave who is holidaying somewhere when he gets a call from his friend Cobra asking him to fly over to The Blue Hole, a lagoon area with lots of fish...
Apparently, Cobra wants to open A Sushi Bar By The Blue Hole and roped in his other friend Bancho, a sushi chef to make the sushi at the Sushi Bar. But before we can open, an earthquake strikes, destroying the decorations and equipment at the Sushi Bar. Bancho asks Dave to catch and prepare 7 fish for that night's operation, and we need to earn 100 gold to fully repair the Sushi Bar.
We go on our first tutorial dive, Dive No. 1 and catch 9 fish at a depth of 16m, with our biggest fish being a Blue Tang at 30cm. On top of that, we caught 4 other fish types.
As this is my first time diving, I did not capture any screenshots of the diving process as it's slightly stressful. I apologise.
We also enter a tutorial mode for the Sushi Bar management, where we learn how to Dash and Serve customers. At the end of the day, we get a score of 5.0 and earned 5 Artisan's Flame. Our total gold intake was 48 gold with "Rainbow Wrasse Sushi" being our Top Seller at 15 gold.

New game "Cast n Chill" is a cozy fishing game. I catch my first fish, a "Threadfin Shad" and enter "Rusty's Bait n' Tackle" to buy new Hooks and Lures.
I row to the edge of Golden Fork River and catch a Bluegill Sunfish. Next, I adjusted my location to the middle of the river and managed to catch a Smallmouth Bass and a Brown Trout.
Finally, I row into dock to sell my prize catches and stop by Rusty's where he tells me about the Monster Walleye Trophy.

We upgrade our Ovoo Mound to contain a Yurt of Premonitions so that our Son and Heir Yesugei can get extra skill points.
In the meantime, we also take the decision to Manage Pasturage which gives us County Fertility and County Fertility Growth at the cost of some Stress.
We decide to host a Hunt in Kondoma, which has a Wolf Sighting. When Temujin gets to the site and makes camp, he hears that apparently it's not a lone wolf but a pack of wolves terrorising the nearby farms.
During the Hunt, Temujin encounters a mother wolf and her cub and tried to sneak past the mother and get the cub as a Pet Wolf. Unfortunately, the mother attacks Temujin with her dying breath and gets him wounded. The dead mother becomes Temujin's Wolf Pelt, a small consolation.
Temujin decides to ambush the Wolves with archers holding a bow line, and as the wolves charge him, he lets loose an arrow which sails past the beast. The wolf he was aiming for disappears into the tall grass. But apparently the other hunters successfully slew some wolves, giving us Wolf Fangs as a trinket.
As the Hunt ends, and we prepare to head back to Ob, a fight breaks out between Temujin's Concubine and Caravan Mistress Khutulun and his Baghatur Jelme Khentii over a treasured pendant that was supposedly stolen. We do not intervene and leave them up to their devices to which Khutulun emerges victorious in keeping the Stolen Keepsake.
Meanwhile, our Ally, Iltabar Yusuf "the Understanding" of Muyunkum who is the Brother of our potential Daughter-in-law and Yesugei's betrothed, died. This leaves his Son and Heir, Iltabar Muhammad III of Muyunkum in-charge. We cannot renew our alliance as Yesugei's betrothed is Iltabar Muhammad's Aunt.

We propose to our Muslim Tributary Chieftain Oshmar of the Hokhot Ostyaks that his elder daughter, Chechama Hokhot get betrothed to our youngest and promising Baghatur, Subutai Khentii who is Strong and Quick.
I have future plans to make Subutai a vassal since he is so talented and well-rounded in his stats and traits.
In the meantime, we recruit a Prisoner of War languishing in our dungeons - Itlar "Longshanks", who makes a good Baghatur with 20 Prowess and the Athletic trait. As a Laktan, he was previously serving Iltabar Gigen of the Laktans. Now, he will be serving Temujin.
Next, we begin another war - this time a Nomadic County Quarrel against the constant thorn in our sides - Beg Etrek II of the Karakar Kirghiz. Beg Etrek wanted us to be his Tributary when we migrated to Ob, even though his army is laughably small compared to ours. And he doesn't know when to quit, replacing the Herder and migrating into the small space of Kondoma nestled between Temujin's lands and the Jadaran Mongols.
We raise our 4456-strong army and crushed the Karakar Kirghiz, then proceeded to lay siege to their Kondoma holding. Just then, Beg Etrek's ally Beg Zhyrgal "the Trembling" of the Tomel Kirghiz joined in the war. But it doesn't matter, their army size is also laughably small compared to ours.
As the war rages on, we have 2 Settlement Issues to resolve - one in Torema, the other in Biia. Temujin stops commanding his army for a while, passing over the reigns of the 1st Army of Sorok to Jamukha to command while he goes to settle the Settlement Issues.
The 1st issue is a familiar one: "The Wild Herd", except this time Temujin decides to sell the grazing beasts for 25 gold.
The 2nd issue is yet another County Fertility issue, however it takes place in Biia, requiring us to pass through Taiga forests. The frozen ground is slick and treacherous, leading to Temujin's Caravan Mistress and Concubine, Khutulun "the Able" arguing with his hired Forest Expert, Deryab about the best approach to traversing the trail. Temujin manages to get both of them to work together on the challenge and stop being Rivals.
In the midst of all this, Chechama Hokhot turns 16 and becomes ready for marriage to Subutai Khentii. They wed and this gives Subutai 600 Prestige for marrying the Daughter of a Chieftain.
On 16 July 1191, our longtime ally, High Chieftain Togrul "the Accursed" of the Keraits died of heart failure at age 61, leaving control of the Keraits to his Son, High Chieftain Oghuul of the Keraits. Unlike his father, High Chieftain Oghuul is a Zealous Nestorian (Christian faith) and does not take kindly to Tengri followers like Temujin. So we are unable to get back our alliance with the Keraits even though High Chieftain Oghuul's Sister is married to our Half-Brother Belgutei.
After a successful siege of Kondoma, we take Prisoner Beg Etrek's 2nd Son, Zhyrgal Karakar whom we ransom.
Then, the war with Beg Etrek is over and we take his last remaining land to redistribute to our loyal Vassal, Chieftain Jamukha of the Jadaran Mongols who now gets control of Kondoma.

...Continued from Day 63, September 15, Sunday:
In the evening, we have some "Smuggling" going on down at the Port where a container contained boxes of very rare and expensive alcohol. Soon after, an SUV with 3 armed men got out and started shooting. We send our A-team to the scene - all 7 officers - who requested reinforcements from the 3 B-team officers. The 10 officers together with SWAT and Paddy Wagon apprehended the criminals and recovered some alcohol as loot, which we sell.
Coincidentally, while the call came in for the "Theft" at Sardius Jewellery Store at 7pm, we had no officers available on duty to send. So we ignored that call and received $1000 from Sand. Hopefully, this gets us back into full good graces with the Mafia.
At night, we get a call for an "Armed Robbery" at a Botique by an obese woman wearing a bunny mask. We send in 5 officers together with SWAT to subdue her.
We manage to solve the "Drug Possession" investigation into Dante Gambino, an old Italian who has worked his whole life in the funeral business. We will arrest him first thing tomorrow when Detective Fouse is on duty with Shift B.

Day 63, September 15, Sunday - All the major headlines are reporting on Mayor Rogers cracking down on Freeburg P.D. and being responsible for its "breakdown". This is just the day after the death of Officer Kin Tsubaki (which was covered up) and 2 failed calls. I don't know what they are talking about, unless they're counting Jack not using force at the LGB protest as well.
Amongst the morning papers we get a little note with the symbol of Robespierre aka Eugene Chaffee on the front and a cryptic message inside that reads: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". The note also reports that we have bad relations with City Hall with 3 thumbs down, but we are in good with the Mafia (3 thumbs up). Jack's relationship with his officers at the Police Station however, is a mystery. Looks like we need to plant a mole to read the room at Freeburg P.D.
Today is the 3rd consecutive day where we have to deal with a couple of tired officers. And in Officer Ozaki's case, a drunk officer. So we let them all have time-off, minding today's workforce roster of course.
Mayor Rogers is unhappy with Jack's performance and decides to penalize us and cut the Freeburg P.D.'s budget slightly by taking away 1 job slot, forcing us to fire someone on our force. We have no choice but to give Detective Nick Hunter (130), who was previously hired by Deputy Stett when Jack was in a coma, the boot.
Next on the agenda is to interrogate and make an informant of Henry Sand, the Sands Lieutenant we arrested 2 days ago. He has a defective heart valve and wears a pacemaker in his chest. His daughter Mary Ann is a successful ballerina and his pride and joy. However, a past accident of driving into the river caused him to develop aquaphobia.
Our interrogation session saw us trying to sympathise with his hatred for John Pazzi as well as intimidation with our knowledge that he works for the Mafia. However, these lines of questioning proved unsuccessful in breaking him as he repeatedly requested speaking to his lawyer. So we begin torturing him by waterboarding him in a barrel. After 2 dunks in the barrel, soon enough he lets on that George Sand stole some antique guns and pocketed the money.
We start investigating George Sand, the second from the bottom in the Sands hierarchy. George is apparently responsible for "Theft" at the Freeburg Central Railway Station where he stole rare Second World War weapons from the station warehouse. We put Detective Akers as Lead, with Detectives Jackson and Luckett supporting.
Our cut from the sale of Automatic Weapons came in from the Mafia and we decide to share 50% with our staff to make them happy.
Meanwhile, we still have 1 Detective job slot open, so we hire Detective Jim Kang (120) for Shift A to replace Detective Hunter.
Today is the day we Hire a Snitch to gather intel and give us a feel of the situation in Freeburg P.D. The price to hire is $3000 upfront, and then $500 per week to keep the snitch in our books. So who became our Snitch? Why, none other than Officer Salik Persy (130) the nepo-baby whom we can't fire. He has been with the department for 48 days since July 30, and has been on several small assignments usually accompanied by a more professional officer, just like today's 1st call of "Disorderly Conduct" in the City Center.
At mid-day, a call came in regarding a "Theft" situation in the Suburbs where Veronica had just hosted her friend Clara at her house. Clara suggested they try on Veronica's jewellery for fun, and apparently returned all of them when she was done. When Clara went home, Veronica checked and found 4 rings missing. We ordered Officers Robbins, Syahovich and Yorgenson to pay a visit to Clara's residence where Clara behaved oddly. But after interrogating her and her husband over tea, our team recovered some jewellery which Jack decides to sell to the Mafia.
Speaking of jewellery, Christopher Sand calls in his favour with Jack to not send any officers to the Sardius Jewellery Store at 7pm today. In exchange, he will offer Jack $1000.
The heist at the Sardius Jewellery Store had yet to go down and we have yet to receive the call, when we get a threatening message from Christopher Sand about Jack letting him down. I don't know if this is a bug, but if we're down a point with the Mafia we gotta earn it back before it dips even more.
Another false alarm for a "Suicide Threat" at the Sophocles Theatre of Drama where the rejected young dancer had simply fallen asleep in her locked dressing room.

...Continued from Day 62, September 14, Saturday -
Then there were 3 back-to-back False Alarm cases wasting police resources again:
Suspected "Drug Possession" at Eddie's Burgers where the caller claims there was cocaine in the kitchen. Turns out, it is just ordinary salt.
An "Animal Assault" in the Suburbs which turn out to be just a large wasp that got into the man's house.
A potential "Rape" in the City Center where Cynthia Jason was being vulgarly harassed and followed by a workman. The maintenance worker Billy Sue had only whistled as the girl passed by. While making others uncomfortable is not appropriate, it is hardly "Rape" of another.
At mid-day, we get an Anonymous (???) message about needing Jack to supply three dead police officers, one female and two male, for an "operation". This creep wouldn't even tell me who he is or what he does.
In the afternoon, we begin an Investigation into a "Double Homicide" at the Everyday Mall where a man who was unable to pay at the checkout reacted by shooting the cashier, then the security guard before fleeing. We put Detective Yessel as Lead. But no sooner had we started the case, when Christopher G. Sand steps in and asks us to call off the investigation. We archive the case for now and pocket a cool $3000.
Towards the evening, we get an anonymous tip-off that there was "Drug Manufacturing" going on in the Suburbs at the house of one Ernest Franklin who has a history of illegal weapons and drug charges. We send in Sergeant Kochi, Corporal Gorshkov and Officers Purdy and Mixon together with the Paddy Wagon, but they still can't deal with one man and his drug operation. So we dispatch backup in the form of Officers Durak, Timpson and Klausner. At the scene we confiscated a plant called Ficus, which we bring back to the Police Station because it's hardly worth anything.
At the same time, some bigwig name Robert Devlin is hosting a wedding for his daughter at the Country Houses and needs 4 police officers for guard duty against his enemies. We send Senior Officer Tsubaki together with Officers Asano, Trebor and Cook, and they all came back drunk from the party.
During the night, while 7 of our officers were busy traveling back from the Drug Bust earlier at Ernest Franklin's, 2 calls came in for a "Robbery" at Mrs. Sofa Furniture Store and a "Public Indecency" at King Lewis Night Club. Now, I usually would not want to send out my drunk officers to calls when they are drunk, but I had no choice as my other 7 officers were tied up, and the timer was ticking...
So I sent Officers Asano and Trebor to the "Robbery", while Senior Officer Tsubaki handles the "Public Indecency". On the way to the scene, Senior Officer Kin Tsubaki (330) died in a car accident due to her drunkenness. Meanwile, Officers Asano and Trebor fail their mission and let the offenders escape, also undoubtedly due to their drunkenness.
For Senior Officer Kin Tsubaki (330), we decide to delay the paperwork, seeing as Shift B's officers are all relatively well-rested. We do not need to immediately hire someone to replace her.

Day 62, September 14, Saturday - A relatively quiet day with nothing major going on in the headlines...
Today, Jack has prepared the envelope with Laura's details as requested by his Secretary Emma who tells him to write "for Mr. Fry" the Private Investigator on the envelope and drop it in the mailbox across the street. Jack does as he is told, but as he finishes putting the envelope in the mailbox, he is accosted by none other than by businessman Eugene Chaffee or "Robespierre" and the Mayor's Private Secretary, Troy Starr.
The three have a private meeting at a family restaurant where Chaffee explains that he will be passing secret notes to Jack in his morning newspapers starting tomorrow. Apparently it's secret information passed on by Robespierre's many spies in his network.
The day starts out with yet another round of requests for time-off from work for both legit and not so legit reasons. We give time-off to Detectives Akers and Simms, as well as Officer Persy (who has a legit reason for once).
Next, we promote Corporal Nanami Kochi to 3 Stripes to become Sergeant Nanami Kochi (1210). She is now officially our highest Professionalism Cop at Freeburg P.D.
So the college kid we arrested yesterday for pushing drugs, Bruno Savini? Well apparently he's a member of the Atala Funeral Home, which the game is calling a "gang", but really it's just a business front for illegal activities.
To climb the ranks and get to the big boss Federica Laterza, we have to Interrogate Bruno about his involvement with the Funeral Home. Our previous "gang" members that we've arrested usually give away information on their next ranked leader in the gang hierarchy. But not Bruno, who remains tight lipped until we hit him with evidence of his association with Mr. Dante Gambino, his emergency contact and bail money poster. Bruno confesses that Gambino supplied him with the drugs he was pushing.
So we start an Investigation on Dante Gambino, putting Detective Fouse as the Lead on the case, with Detective Mole assisting.
To replace the dead Officer Strong on Shift A, we hire Officer Albert Daniel (210). We still have an extra Detective Hire Slot out of a total possible 13 Detectives we could hire.
The day starts out with "Theft" at a Construction Site where 6 thieves climbed into the more dangerous construction areas. One of the thieves almost fell down an elevator shaft and we get him to step back and surrender.
The other call in the morning is a "Robbery" in the Ghetto where a young man had been robbed at knifepoint and the suspect all the victim's possessions.
To be continued...

...Continuing from the previous post for Day 61, September 13, Friday:
The Mayor's Office comes back to us expressing their ire that we did not suppress the LGB Protestors. Fuck you, Troy Starr and Mayor Rogers!
Late at night, we have a call for an "Attempted Murder" of a transvestite at the Playground by a bunch of guys trying to lynch him. We send in the Paddy Wagon together with Officers Dodd, Ozaki, Castile and Forbes. However, the situation was far more serious when the officers arrived at the scene so we send backup: Senior Officer Flores and Officers Simpson, Roy and Strong.
Unfortunately, the offenders escaped and even killed one of our officers in the struggle, Officer Sasha Strong (320). She was one of our newer recruits too! We decide to declare her dead immediately as Shift A needs all the manpower it can get with all those tired officers.

Today's an inauspicious day, Friday the 13th! Or rather, Day 61, September 13, Friday - A ton of our Detectives and Cops are requesting time off. Some for legitimate reasons like tiredness and missing brothers, others not so much. But regardless, we let 3 Cops off, but keep Detective Kuzma and Senior Officer Flores because Kuzma needs to arrest a suspect, and we have let too many Cops off already before Flores put in his request. We are down to 9 Officers on Shift A today.
Today we browse through the Catalogue - "Ulrich's List" published on August 14th (while Jack was still in the Coma) titled "Fall Motives". We buy all the newest and hottest releases and even pre-order the upcoming songs that will be released on October 2nd.
Early in the morning we are greeted by a severely homophobic memorandum from City Hall urging us to use force against the LGB (Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual) Protestors outside Freeburg High School. Apparently, 3 high school teachers were fired for distributing LGB brochures teaching tolerance to school children.
We send in a nominal 4 Officers, SWAT and Paddy Wagon to the scene, and Martin Stett immediately asks us to cover our ass by fabricating evidence either against our Officer Liam Dodd or the Church. We decide to do neither and not to suppress the protest by force because it'll be a waste of our time and money to do either. Mayor Roger's feelings be damned.
Meanwhile, we hire for Shift B Officer George Gorshkov (320). He may be old, but he's got the experience and that's what matters!
We also receive our weekly paycheque from City Hall for $1,933.
At the start of the morning we also send Detective Soliz together with Officers Simpson and Strong to arrest the "Drug Sales" suspect Bruno Savini who is working at the Atala Funeral Home.
The first call of the day is "Threatening Phone Calls" happening in the Suburbs to a well-known political activist, Ola Padgett who claims that some men with machine guns were threatening her over the phone. We send our 3 remaining officers, Senior Officer Flores, Officer Robbins and Castile to the scene, and they requested for backup but there was no other officers to send. All of them were either tied up with the LGB Protest or arresting Bruno Savini. In the end, the 3 officers managed to apprehend the suspects anyway and even found Automatic Weapons.
The 2nd call was a potential "Child Molestation" at Freeburg High School where student Stacy Peng was called into her male teacher's office and was sexually assaulted by her teacher. We send in the 2 female Officers Simpson and Strong together with one male officer, Officer Roy.
The 3rd call of the day was about "Prostitution" along Route 22 where a dozen prostitutes have gathered. We have no choice but to send in the Paddy Wagon together with Officers Dodd, Ozaki and Forbes.
Mid-day when we finally have enough officers back, we send Detective Kuzma together with SWAT, Senior Officer Flores and Officer Castile to Arrest Henry Sand at his Country House for the "Hit and Run" case.
We get 3 back-to-back False Alarms:
A "Mass Riot" at Desire Park which was easy to identify because of the hysterical nature of the caller saying there were zombies and vampires out and about.
The "Domestic Disturbance" in the Residential Area was harder to tell, as the fighting could have been genuine.
The "Suspicious Individual" in Desire Park was also hard to tell as the threat of a black guy in a hood following behind her could be genuine as well.

In 1190, besides having an Obedient Vassal in Chieftain Jamukha of the Jadaran Mongols, Temujin finally has 2 Obedient Tributaries in the Kulyan Ostyaks and Hokhot Ostyaks. In total, the 2 Tributaries are giving me 9.8 Herd while Jamukha gives 3.2 Herd every month.
We hire a new position - the Noyan, which is the leading general of our armies. This gives us additional 2.5% conversion of Herd into Horde Riders. We pick a Baghatur who does not hold other offices and is also the leading pick of the list - Borjigidai "the Honest" who dislikes us a bit.
We decide to go back to Stealing the Herd of High Chieftain Ligdan of the Barga Buryats because we have Weak Hooks on a couple of his people which we can turn into agents for us. What we fail to notice though, is the "Redouble Guards" Countermeasure that High Chieftain Ligdan had activated which cut the Scheme Power Success Chance. This would be important later...
We decide to declare a Sovereignty War on Iltabar Girgen of the Laktans because they are currently Sovereign over several of our neighbouring rulers and shepherds. Winning the war would mean that these neighbours would pay tribute to us instead of Iltabar Girgen.
We do not sight his armies, so instead we set about sieging The Laktans capital of Imekia, which takes about 5 months.
In the meantime, Beg Blush of the Kiyirsiz Kirghiz to the North-West of us, willingly swears fealty as a Tributary to us. On the other hand, directly to the West, Beg Aepak of the Tooeldik Kirghiz declares that he will not bend the knee to us.
And so, we encounter our first Steal Herd failure with High Chieftain Ligdan. I did not notice the "Redouble Guards" Countermeasure during my play-through. If I had I would have made the scheme run longer to accumulate more Advantage Points before Executing the Scheme.
We encounter a repeat of the same Childhood Event for Yesugei, who seems determined to become Paranoid. So this time, I let him keep Paranoid and let him think the wounded doe was some sort of test.
Meanwhile, the Khentii family's 2nd Son, Subutai Khentii grows up to become a Charismatic Negotiator (Level 3 Diplomacy Education), who is also Strong and Quick. He has all the right Traits and Stats, and makes a perfect 19 Prowess Baghatur, just like his Father and Elder Brother.
After sieging Imekia, we captured Iltabar Girgen's Son and Heir, Gzi Kulunid and thus end the Sovereignty War after just 7 months. Even though we just beat him and forced his hand to transfer his tributes to us, Iltabar Girgen does not seem upset with us but rather, impressed with our great appetite.
After the war, a look at how The Mongols control has grown through tributaries.
For our tributaries, we gained 3 Shepherds and 2 Rulers, one of whom is Beg Kubasar of the Kubasarid Kirghiz, Beg Etrek's Blood Brother.

Towards the end of the Tsagaan Sar Feast, we collect "gifts" from the guests. This is different from the chosen gift at the beginning of the Feast, when we selected Artifact as our preferred gift. Here, we are given 80 Gold, 25 Piety and 670 Prestige.
With the end of the Feast, we gain an additional 115 Prestige, 50 Legitimacy and lose 24 Stress. Although I think all the numbers are severely under-reported.
Post Tsagaan Sar, we can demand our neighbour Beg Blush of the Kiyirsiz Kirghiz to become our Tributary, which he will 100% accept.
Meanwhile, we also notice that our Herd capacity has increased to 11772, with our Monthly Change in Herd to be +116.8.
We also upgrade our Millet Storage to Dolgion Khee Millet Storage (Level 3), which costs us 78 Gold, 141 Prestige and 500 Herd.

Chieftain Nuyanza of the Kulyan Ostyaks has now become Temujin's Tributary, and as his first Tribute and for all subsequent Tributaries, Temujin guarantees his Suzerain protection against enemies however big they may be. This puts Chieftain Nuyanza in a better mood and disposition towards Temujin.
We were out looking for potential alliance matches for our family members, when we stumbled upon Ayten Karakhanid, an 8 year-old who is Intelligent and brings in a decent alliance with Khan Yusuf of the Karluks with an army of 1836. The Karluks are Maturidi Muslim and Khan Yusuf swears fealty to Khagan Zhilugu of the Kara Kitai, a scary empire bordering our south. This is the best alliance we could find for now for our Son and Heir Yesugei Borjigin betrothing Ayten, Khan Yusuf's Half-Sister.
We have more Settlement Issues to resolve. Firstly, Contentious Grazelands where Temujin's Baghaturs Khagatai and Bughu fight over grazelands nearby in Ob. Temujin intervenes by claiming the lands for his own flock. Next, there is A Lack of Tools in nearby Sorok, slowing down tasks for Temujin's people. We try to use our fame and name to get someone to handle the crisis.
Meanwhile, our Concubine and Caravan Mistress, Khutulun "the Able" gives birth to a Son, Nakhu Borjigin.
While we wait for January to arrive, when we can hold a Tsagaan Sar Feast, we decide to declare a Tributary War on the previous owner of our current lands, Chieftain Oshmar of the Hokhot Ostyaks who was cowed enough to give up his lands to us, but not enough to become our Tribute peacefully. Chieftain Oshmar is an Isma'ili Muslim.
We send in Chieftain Jamukha to commander the 700-strong mercenaries to battle the Hokhot Ostyaks.
Our Sturdy Main Yurt (Level 3) has finished building. So the next project we move on to is to replace our cultivation of Goats in the Millet Storage with Reindeer instead, since we are now situated in Taiga terrain.
Our Salairan-Taskylan Tributary War with the Hokhot Ostyaks ends in victory for us. Chieftain Oshmar even damns our seventh grandfather in his concession speech! Regardless, we extend our Suzerain Protection Guarantee to him which tempers his dislike for us.
Soon after the war ended, we call for a Fertility Assembly in Ob, led by our Stargazer, Usun Besud who chanted verses detailing his devotion to Yashyl Han and then invitied everyone to share advice with each other on how to take good care of the land.
It is 29th January 1190, and we can celebrate the Mongolian New Year with a Tsagaan Sar Feast. Of course we hold the Feast in Ob, where our capital is. The activity costs us 97 gold, already a reduced price from the extra Stocked Meat we had leftover from the previous Nerge Hunt we held awhile back.
Meanwhile, the small land of Kondoma held by Shepherdess Sevilay that was sitting in-between us and our Vassal, Chieftain Jamukha of the Jadaran Mongols, was taken over by Beg Etrek II of the Karakar Kirghiz. Beg Etrek, as you would recall, was the previous owner of Ob and was kicked out of his lands by us together with Chieftain Oshmar of the Hokhot Ostyaks when we migrated to these lands. We also refused to pay tribute to Beg Etrek when we first moved in, and now he hates Temujin and has a vendetta.
During the Tsagaan Sar Feast, we wanted to focus on receiving trinkets and Artifacts from guests, but for some reason, the game gave me Strong Hooks (Loyalty) on 2 guests - Chieftain Nuyanza and my Mother Hoelun Olkhunut.
Speaking of Hooks, we have a Weak Hook (Favour) on Chieftain Oshmar after we previously ransomed his daughter during the war. And now, during this Feast, we grow closer to becoming Friends.
According to our Spymistress, "The Universal Spider", someone is trying to kill our Stargazer and Personal Physician, Usun Besud.
In a horse race between Chieftain Jamukha and our Baghatur Bughu, we bet that Jamukha would win. And he does, netting us 20 gold.
Meanwhile, our Half-Brother Belgutei performs a mean Kargyraa (Throat Singing Style) to the crowd. Inspired, Temujin attempts to mimic Belgutei's style and successfully does so.
Towards the end of the Feast, Usun makes a toast to the Year of the Dog. This gives everyone present a "Tsagaan Sar: Dog" modifier which reduces Befriend and Romance Scheme Phase length by 20 days.

As we have just completed migrating and landing ourselves in a new area, for the time being we are back to being The Borjigin Mongols. We are currently located in the Central Steppe where it is the season of Everlasting Summer. Temujin is currently the 3rd largest Nomad in The Great Steppe.
Now we are also able to re-negotiate our Vassal Contract with Chieftain Jamukha of the Jadaran Mongols. We give him Guaranteed Kurultai Rights in exchange for High Herd Tithes and Low Nomadic Taxes.
Meanwhile, our lands are being raided by our north-western neighbour Chieftain Nuyanza of the Kulyan Ostyaks. We send in our hired mercenaries, the Mongol Band of Karatsagaan, all 755 men-strong with Temujin at the helm to disrupt the raiders. We managed to defeat the raiders in Torema and send them packing.
Next, we change our Dominance Level from Limited Dominance to High Dominance, increasing our Domain Limit to 4. Instead of a Snow Fox, we are now an Eagle. Our migration can now target De Jure Kingdom Titles. However, High Dominance did not make us into a Khan.
After wiping his army during the raid, we decide to bring our troublesome neighbour Chieftain Nuyanza of the Kulyan Ostyaks under Tribute. We decide to send our mercenaries, the Mongol Band of Karatsagaan to deal with the Kulyan Ostyaks again.
We encounter another sort of Troublesome Neighbours. To the West of Ob, the Shepherd Togli from Kolyvan tries to pass through our land with his flock of beasts. We stop him and confiscate some of his Herd.
Next, the lands around Torema seem to be poisoning and sickening our Herd after they settled in. We travel from Ob to Torema where the terrain is all Taiga. We have no choice but to slaughter 150 Herd to prevent the contiguous spread of whatever disease is plaguing them.
Yesugei became Paranoid, suspecting Temujin of staging an encounter with a wounded doe as some kind of test. We teach Yesugei a lesson that he could have felled the animal himself. He became Ambitious, which is a better trait to have.
This puts Temujin over the edge of stress, feeling the Endless Toil of his responsibilities as High Chieftain. We decide against consuming Hashish, as it lowers Stewardship and Learning.
After the successful siege, we ransom the heir of Chieftain Nuyanza, Odeg Kulyan for 43 gold. Then we end the Salairan-Kondan Tributary War in victory.
