[The Start of the Rivalry Love] +Valentine Special Part 2

How the academy system is you are trained to take care of yourself and learn basic life essentials, but most importantly teamwork which is sometimes hard for the young pokèmon.

"HEY YOU Glaceon!"

Mike would turn around looking down at a small Eevee abit startled

"Uhm ha-hai."

Eevee would walk around him amazed by his appearance noticing a bracelet.

"What's that?? It doesn't fit you at all and makes you ugly looking!! You're a beautiful Glaceon!"

Mike would look at his bracelet and remembers what the Doc said to him.

"It's a Limiter. I'm too young to be evolved and Doc said if I'm not careful without it I could badly hurt someone so I just try to avoid it at all cost"

The Eevee would widen her just thinking about it.

"But why avoid it when you can probably do some cool moves now just being a Glaceon wow!! I wanna evolve too!!"

Eevee would continue to shout as other pokèmon would stare at the two confused why she so loud.

"Hey you two lovebirds can we get some peace. Geez."

Someone would say walking up to them pissed off and grabs his collar.

"He-hey man! I'm sorry! We'll try to be quieter!"

The pissed off Charmander would shoves him away as Mike falls on his back scared.

"You look tough, but your just a coward do you even deserve that evolution. Everyone here earns it, you just get it like that."

Stomps on his chest as he cries in pain.

"Some people work hard to get strong, you have high expectations to prove you deserve to be evolved."

The female Eevee would get in from of both and holds out both her arms protectively.

"Back off! He probably didn't wish to be this, you don't know his life nor do I. Back off!"

Charmander would glare like he isn't gonna let this slide easily and walks off.

"My name is Ollie it isn't official, but I want that to be my preferred name!"

She turns around and smiles at him helping him get back up.

"That's a very cute name.."

He'll say as Ollie starts to blush staring up at him.

"Let's head to class and do our very best!"

Over the course of the first 3 years of the Academy Ollie and Mike would find themselves to get very close, she evolved to become a Sylveon. She still hasn't said how she evolved to Mike as he kept nagging her for a month straight, although the real reason is her love for Mike has grown and evolving made her even sure this is what she wants. Mike on the other hand has grown to be less hyper, gotten more serious and gloomy completely different than how she first met him. Ollie on the other hand has made friends with some classmates asking each other girl stuff, till one of him ask.

"Have you and Mike gone to a date yet?"

Ollie would fluster up hearing a the sudden question.

"We've gone to Entertainment Plaza!! for young pokèmon to see how many points we can get, I suppose you could say those counts as dates heh heh."

The girls would look at each other and think to themselves maybe she hasn't made a moved yet.

"So he's still single? Did he friendzone you?"

One of the girl would say being more curious and pushing for information.

"Wha- no it's not like that, maybe we just taking our time and such yaknow? Build up!"

She would try to avoid saying he is single so these girls don't have a chance with him though she knows wording wasn't always her strong suit, but she knows how to land them sometimes.

"Oh? Already ahead of us then, well let's see if any of the new transfer members have a bite for him."

She forgot and wasn't prepared for that at all and just hopes there aren't any girls Mike would fall for aka the bait.

"Welcome everyone for the 3rd year of your Academy school training. Today we will learn to welcome new pokèmon, for our socialist training. Although this time we will pair each other with the transfered pokèmon for the week to show them around the Academy keep in mind even after the week please help them when the time comes for any reason."

As the President of the Academy begins assigning random people to each of the new students soon getting to M. Ollie closes her eyes hoping it isn't Mike, but other than bad wording problems luck isn't on her side and unfortunately today was worse for her. Now she begins to pray to Arceus in panic that it isn't a girl, but even that didn't work and he gets assigned to a Eevee with a necklace of a water stone?

"Wait don't Eevees evolve if they make contact with any of the element stones?"

As one of the girls would look at Ollie looking for the answer, but Ollie was about to pull some fur till she stops herself upon hearing the question.

"Well I've heard stories if you have enough strength you can outright just deny it's affect, letting you decide by fate or by will. That means being young and able to do that all in one go, you gotta be a very disciplined and the strength to prove it by withstanding that sort of thing."

She would look at Mike seeing if he had the same idea, but he is yapping to his step-brother Laz who transferred a year before alone which normally you aren't able to which still is the big mystery young pokèmon talk about.

Although in this situation the Pokèmon would start to wonder who exactly is this not Eevee that is Mike's partner for the week, some started to ship them considering they are the opposite sex, others just do it to spite the girls as Mike would just listen still unsure why it's such a big deal.

"Don't worry much about it Mike, your barely gonna notice you helped a girl around haha"

Mike would ruffle up his head fluff as he smirks.

"Says the one who did his fur to appeal any girl if he got selected."

They both laugh together and soon the bell would ring and the ones who got selected would follow one of the teachers to a room. As they opened the door they were told to go next to the pokèmon you got as a partner for the week. Mike would go up to the Eevee as she been staring at him since he walked into the room.

"Name's Mike.. and uhm.. what's yours?"

She would continue to stare distracted by something he couldn't see, which would in his reassurance waves his paw in front of her face to make her snap out of it.

"Hey Eevee you there?"

She would get startled and punch his gut as he groans getting on the floor.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I am easily startled I punch whatever is in front of me!! My apologies!"

She helps him get back up.

"Were you lost in train of thought?"

Mike would ask still in pain, but it'll go away soon enough.

"Got distracted by someone cute.. but nevermind that— show me around!"

She would hype herself up and wait for him.

"What's your name though."

"oh— my name is Vixy! Cause I'll soon be able to evolve into a Vaporeon, but not now!"

Mike would nod and shows her around the Academy, as other pokèmon would start to mumble talking about it as they pass by them.

"Are you like a big shot or something?"

She'll ask trying to know more about him and hear what others are saying.

"Oh I'm a Glaceon when I was like.. 3? I evolved to survive the worst winter ever recorded. I suppose it's just rare seeing a Glaceon in a Academy or could be I have a lot of mystery they say I'm just a normal pokèmon."

"Are you though?"

He would stop and think about it for a second and shakes his head.

"Nah. I just go home to eat and sleep and other things someone at home would do."

She sighs wasn't expecting a simple answer.

"You gotta go outside and do stuff, don't be a lazy Glaceon that's a Umbreon's job"

She says joking to herself as Mike rolls his eyes.

Ollie in the other hand has been stalking the two for the next 3 days writing down everything about them and what's different between herself and Vixy when they are together. So far completely different he seems at ease and is more talkative with her.

"Grrr.. he's mine."

Laz would sneak behind her.

"You should ask him out than friendzone him."

Her face goes red and turns around quickly covering her face.

"Shut Up! You don't know what love is."

Laz wasn't on for love, but when he sees it, it's not science.

"It's gonna get harder to ask him out when we move out. You really wanna keep this act up all the way till then?"

She'll sit down with her back to a wall and look at her paws.

"I just wish he noticed my signs, but he's so.. lost somewhere else when we talk. What am I doing wrong."

Laz would raise a eyebrow and sit next to her.

"He's only 11 and it's been a while he lost his parents, he can't move on that easily."

"I know.. it must be so hard on him. I managed to convince my Dad to give you two a home and stuff so ya can save up and move over to the next island for better work. I just feel like I can't do anything for him to see my love for him."

Laz would pat her head comforting her.

"We are thankful for it. He's just too hard on himself with trauma and he hasn't had time to be a kid as he would go out and train everyday."

Her ears would twitch hearing that for the first time.

"So he isn't a lazy person?"

"What? No he just says that, cause explaining would be boring so whynot just lie about it haha."

She'll sit in quiet thinking about it.

"Hey don't think much, I don't even know what he does in his free time. Right now you have a Rival."

She looks at him confused with that.

"What Rivalry?"

He points to Mike and the Eevee who staring at each other and she freaks out and runs towards him and uses Tackle on him as they slam into a tree as the Eevee stares at both of them wasn't expecting that.

"You bastard!"

Mike would groan being Tackled in the same area where Vixy punch.

"Wh-what did I even do..!"

"You know what you did!"

She yells at him.

"I don't!!"

Eevee would realize and giggles.

"You thought we were gonna kiss. No no. He was stunned when I asked him out."

Ollie would stare at her and scream.

"WHAT?!!"

Eevee would giggle and walks over to Mike helping him back up.

"I was testing him to see who had interest in him and now I know it's you Ollie."

Ollie would realize who this is and glares at her.

"Vixy! Back off he's mine!"

Mike would stare at both the girls and comment to himself.

"I don't even know what's going on."

Both would glare at each other as Mike would faint. Which as time flies they compete for who gets Mike throughout the Academy years showing both sides how good they are in 1 thing than the other till he moves out of the island and follow along to the new island none showing how they feel for Mike.

Chapter 4 [The Rivalry of Love] +Valentine Special Part 1

As the week go by Mike and the other would head to town to go grocery shopping as they also get stuff Ollie wants to.

"So we splitting into 2 teams, one team goes get groceries as the other helps with getting stuff for Ollie's room. I'll go with Laz as you two go together, better to have someone keep a watch on her at all times."

Karen explains as she heads off with Laz looking down at a note with stuff they need. Mike would take her to girl related shops, mostly cause Karen had a phase for it.

"So how you been so far this week?"

Mike would ask trying to break the silence for a bit, they've gotten more awkward after what happened. They know it's in the past, but the idea she isn't the same Sylveon has bothered them for some time now.

"I'm doing alright, it does help eating berries and other healthy diets. I just don't know how to process I'm not the same Sylveon. I've been trying to accept it even though I'm probably never gonna be related to my parents again. All three of you have made it comforting to accept this new odd experience."

She isn't sad, but at least her smile will never get old.

"Mhm you deserve a second chance."

As she was about to say something pokèmon around them began to say stuff about her

"I wouldn't stay near that heartless killer."

"why is Ice next to her. End her life."

Mike would take her to a store Karen and him gone before.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that the rumors have been spread badly let alone they believe you are the killer, well to be fair every Sylveon in this town has been getting it's fair share of accusations or getting bullied."

Mike would try to distract her as he hands her some items she might like.

"Yeah I understand what they see isn't true, but I have to prove it. I can't talk back when I'll just add more fuel to the fire."

She would pick a rubix cube and look at Mike.

"I don't mind getting this to play and dis—"

A random Pokèmon would try to sneak on him, but Mike would sense her presence and step aside as both watch her crashing into some items dropping them on the floor.

"You are so mean Ice!"

A Absol would get back up and stare up at him she is smaller than him.

"You know I'll keep rejecting you Vixy."

Mike sighs picking up the mess she made as Ollie helps too.

"Your with a Sylveon??? I didn't know you were on a date!! Grr!"

Vixy would glare at Ollie as she is also glaring back?

"We aren't dating, I'm just helping her settle in into our treehouse."

"oh. OH I remembered why I followed you here."

Meet Vixy a Vaporeon who forgets stuff too quickly, and sorta has a thinking delay.

"yeah what is it?"

Finishes picking up the mess and puts it back in it's correct places.

"I finished graduating and I wanna live with you guys! I'm the only Vaporeon in this whole town! So I wanna fit in with roommates who are trying to get one of each eeveelution!"

She isn't wrong, we are looking for every type of eeveelution if they want to stay with us in our treehouse. I technically pay for it anyways, so they are welcomed to stay if they obey the rules.

We gotten a bag of what Ollie wanted as we sat down in a eeveelution like table which are for every other Pokemon who sit differently.

"Alright as of now Vixy & Ollie are both part of the family, so they are roles in the household. You two are now sisters unlike someone who refers us as step family."

Mike would feel a shiver like for some reason he feels targeted.

"He-hey I said I'm sorry, I'm not used to having a growing family."

Laz would stand up for him.

"Hey he may call us his step family he gave you a home you don't know where he came from I don't, but I don't complain if he wants to say that or not. He still gave us a place to stay considering what he gone through to get it."

Mike would look at him like a thank you without saying it outright.

"But!! Let's enjoy our newly members of the family by eating or it'll go raw cause of this negativity!"

Everyone would agree and begin eating having fun talking and sharing stories.

Chapter 3 [Choices with Responsibilities or Consequences]

Mike would take her down to the Guild and tie her up on a chair taking her down towards the Guild Leader Office as Explorers and some Rescue team members would see a Sylveon covered in blood being taken there. Once arriving he would put her in front of his desk seated and tied up as the Lucario would just stare down at her.

"I wasn't expecting a young lady to be a Killer.."

Mike would stay quiet unsure how to still process this, but just stare at her besides the Lucario.

"Yeah. I don't know how I'll redeem myself, ending my life would be the best..."

The Lucario and Glaceon would look at each other.

"Sir.. she can be helped I know her and my sister, it'll take ti—"

As Mike tried to defend her Lucario would smack the back of his head angered.

"Are you serious? She literally killed pokèmom ate em in this Town, you seriously think she can be redeemed???"

"I haven't killed anyone here though."

They both stop and turn to her.

"Why were you trying to kill us?"

Mike would ask trying to understand her motive.

"I've craving it since I got to this town and it hasn't gone away, I got desperate and went mad trying to eat you."

Mike would walk up to her and check something looking down at her eyes.

"What is it Mike?"

Lucario asks as both him and the Sylveon are unsure what he is doing.

"Her eyes were never Red, what did you do coming to this island?"

She is shocked and now thinks hard for this.

"I just know I came to this island to live with Karen till my parents moved.. as I made it to the town."

Mike would widen his eyes.

"She's not real. I heard the stories of Pokèmom arriving to this island and forgetting their past, but become a evil version. Who we see her is a dead Sylveon who was reanimated and became a cannibal, but the cause of it is very very unknown some say it could be the curse of the island from long ago from when the founders cause the native pokèmom here to curse this island."

Lucario would close his eyes and think about this phenomenon and circumstances as a minute goes by or two.

"You'll take care of her."

They both would scream

"HUHH?!"

"Where did you get that conclusion??"

Mike would say staring at him in disbelief.

"She bleeds, she has awareness, understands her environment, she's the same Sylveon. A complete copy of her, but we can't kill her or it'll cause problems with the other Town she's from. We are a cursed island and this is our problem. That being said, you will take care of her until we find the true killer of this Town."

Lucario would get up and untie her as she gets off the chair. Mostly because eeveelution line don't normally sit on chairs.

"She's a real Pokèmon.. not a Monster. I put my trust into believing change, even if whatever did this made you try to kill your friends.."

She would glance at Mike who is looking away uncomfortable with the idea, but look back at her making eye contact she would look down feeling bad about herself.

"Yeah. You are right... I'll definitely have this craving for a while, but with time I'll be able to control it. I'm sorry Mike."

Mike would walk up to her as the Lucario steps aside and pets her head as she looks up at him making her face go red.

"Your family to us, but I see the same old cute Sylveon as when I left Vale Town."

She smiles and hugs him.

"Oh yeah I have a name now! I'm Ollie, it is odd we get names in our 12th birthday."

"Good name, easy to say that than Sylveon all the time. Let's head back home."

It is getting late and Mike isn't the type to stay late. They both decided to head home as Lucario sits down and looks at a picture of him and his wife.

"I am starting to believe you."

Chapter 2 [A Unfamiliar Ribbon]

[Few hours go by . . ]

Mike begins to wake up as Laz comes over

"I'm sorry that happened to you, also sorry for gaslighting you.."

I massage my cheek where I got punch as I sigh

"It's okay my fault I made you do that, where is our step sister anyway"

She finishes making food, although why is she making so much?

"Uhm Step-sis why are you making so much today?"

"Yeah you going to a party after this?"

We both say confused by this, but shrug at it and think this is free

"Don't you dare touch it, we have a new roommate coming here and welcome her. She's.. a old friend of mine who came to the island planning to stay with us till family moves over here in a year or two."

Right on time too, as all three hear the knocking

"I'll get it!"

I shout rushing over to open it

"Hel—"

Slams the door on her as ribbons slip around the doorframe and strap him onto the door letting herself in

"You live here?? Omg :D!"

Happy Sylveon noises as she snuggles him

"What was that slam abo—"

Sees her best friend for some reason snuggling Mike

"You two know each other?"

Mike sighs

"We used to date..."

"Until he had to move, so we broke up! So now we are friends!"

"Then stop snuggling! Also we only dated because your dad was willing to give us a temporary home until I inherited my parents wealth."

She let's go and everyone watches him getting ready to head out.

"uh where you going?"

Karen tilts her head unsure what's up with him right now

"I'm going out for a stroll, I'll be back for dinner. She can stay next door with you for the meantime till we settle her in alright?"

He smiles at her, but it made her uncomfortable about something as he shuts the door and heads into town towards the Guild. Once inside he headed over towards the billboard for today thinking about taking on easy missions, rumors start to be heard abit more loudly. As a Pikachu approach him not trying to be hostile.

"Hey Mikey. Boss needs you, also stop taking missions you are too high level for. You're a SS adventure do your job."

"Mind your business.."

Mikey says heading down towards the Boss which is a Doctor Lucario.

"Ah hey Mikey glad you can make it I wanted to talk with you about something"

Mike would look at him to give full attention.

"I'm listening what is it?"

Lucario would sit down and stare at him

"Wild pokèmom are hoarding the dungeons, but killing them don't spill blood. We've lost pokèmom seems like the old dungeons that were easy gotten harder."

Takes a sip of his coffee.

"Your new job is to Patrol the town until we figure a way to invade those dungeons again, we've heard a rumor a Sylveon has been spotted murdering pokèmom without remorse. Do you understand Mike?"

"Yes sir.. but why haven't we caught that Sylveon?"

The Lucario sighs

"I don't know kid.. we have 12 Sylveon in this town alone, we cant investigate them and cause public panic alright?"

"Alright, fair enough."

Later that day he would arrive back to his treehouse heading down to the kitchen.

"Yo guys! I'm ba—"

No one in sight let alone a open fire just chilling there, goes shutting it off as he walks around the treehouse trying to not let go of his guard.

"Laz! Karen! Sylveon where are you?!"

He would go into Karen's room and immediately runs towards Laz room hoping nothing happens to him, but as soon he opens the door he would be struck by a shovel knocking him out as the Sylveon gives a grin smile.

He opens his eyes and finds his step-family and looks around, sees the Sylveon and eyes widen as he muffles "no!! No!! It can't be!"

"oh please be quiet. I'm still the same girl, I'm just a cannibal and obsessed to eat you."

Mike would gulp and tries to think I'm what to do in this sort of situation, he is just being wrapped by her ribbons than the others did she expected me to wake up this early or was planning to do?

"So who's first on the menu? I got ideas and I'm very happy to try em! Maybe we should try Mike!"

The others would move trying to find something to make her not do it, though it isn't working and begin to tear. Mike just closes his eyes acting like he accepted his fate.

"Wonderful! Less struggle more I get to eating you all!"

She pulls him close and moves the ribbon from his face as he uses Frost breath right at her face. Causing her to scream at the top of her lungs letting go of him, as he Quick Attacks her and slams her onto the wall making her drop some blood?

"Your not disappearing??"

He yells at her and knees down towards her.

"I'm real... I just ate pokèmom and couldn't stop.. so I risk it to eat you three, didn't expect my ex was a high level.."

He sighs and as he unties everybody else, as he ties her up.

Chapter 1 [Unfortunate Events]

Laz would jump onto my stomach with a kick waking me up and sit on me as he gave out a whine,

"Mikey!!! Wake uppp I'm hungry..!"

I'll pull on my blanket to cover myself as much I could, but he's on it and pulls it away from me,

"Do it yourself.."

This is Laz my older brother who is still a Eevee and I'm Mike a evolved Eevee to a Glaceon.

"But but when you make food it turns out better than the stuff I make."

He would say getting off me and just watches me. I'll sigh and get out my bed getting on all fours and begin to stretch

"Alright I'll head downstairs in a second, wake our step sister up and don't hold back for deciding on shocking me awake with a hug."

He would salute and happily waddles towards her room as I get ready myself grabbing a near by scarf that has stitches and new patches and holds it close,

"Morning Dad and Mom, rest easily for me I'll take care of them don't force yourself."

As I am heading downstairs I hear a shock of something and rush downstairs faster and peek inside the dining table where Laz runs towards me and uses me as cover as a pissed off Jolteon glares him down,

"Wh-what is going on??"

I say trying to shield him from her.

"Hmph!! This little perv goes to my room and sucker punches me in the gut and I am chasing his ass down!"

Meet Karen, very short tempered Jolteon who is my step-sister she is sweet and understanding under all that toughness though!

"But but Mikey said to do the same thing, because you shocked him for a minute straight ina hug!!"

He says as Karen glares up at me.

"I never said th—"

!!BOOM!!

I get punched on the side of my face as I was about to turn to face Mike, a good punch by my step-sister making me fall on my face and get fainted.

[In the past]

At the same moment time being fainted, I would dream that day on a winter my parents are trying to keep me warm and keep me close in a small destroyed cavern that was a home, as we wait for the heaviest known storm to our island passes. There fur has changed color and skin too, unfortunately my dad was a Flareon and keeping us warm was getting harder and more exhausting for him. My Mom being a Sylveon didn't help either, her ribbons were solid and she couldn't force em out anymore a ice bowtie was all she had left.

"Wh-wh-what are we gonna do??"

My mom cried out towards my dad.

"W-we-we have to force him to evolve or-or he dies."

My dad knew the common grounds where a clear ice block would always form which was perfect for a eevee to evolve, but how can they take me if they can't move themselves. Rescue team is on the way, though it's been a few hours and probably are lost.

"We-we have to let go of him."

My dad explained, but my mom eyes widen and argued the idea.

"Your insane! he'll die! Out there!! We can wait for the res—"

My dad would've argued, but stared at her a expression he should be crying though nothing came.

"We are both done for, think Honey. I know where it is and he's a good listener with information."

He turns me to him and begins explaining where to go,

"Mike I want you to run straight down as much you could to 20 seconds like.. 1 second like that okay? After that turn a hard right and you might see a entrance shape of a cave by 2 trees. Run full throttle and find a see through ice block and touch it you'll evolve."

He finished with a smile and grabs his scarf and wraps it around my face and neck.

"We'll be here waiting for you, you'll feel better when you evolve, we can bare our own here!"

Dad uses his last bits of energy to warm me up again with Ember one last time and they set me on my way. I would immediately start doing what he told me to do I know they could handle it, they are top adventures after all!

I would stop counting making it to 20 and look around, but it's hard to see the 2 trees. It took abit of time and eventually I find it, but I have to hurry and the cold is starting to hit again. Where is the rescue team, why are they taking forever, we aren't far. I shake my head, I still haven't been able to talk so I can't trust them if they can't even hear a peep from me and continue until I eventually find the ice block. My body finally goes out and I collapse just seeing the ice block, what's going on??? You can't give out like that, your family is believing in you. I tell myself ask I keep dragging my body that is beginning to freeze up again and this time it is starting to stiff and harden, no no no!! C'mon Dad believes you!!! MOM BELIEVES YOU!! I whimper as I start to lose conscious, eventually slapping the ice and begins to evolve brightly enough for the rescue team screams and siren were heard before I blank out.

"Hey kid are you alive?" A voice calls out to me.

"Hmmm. Let me try something."

My body starts to slowly build up with warmth and that warmth becomes into a burn which jolts me up awake,

"Wh-wha where am I??"

"You are in a temporary camp site for the rescue team" a pokèmom said.

"My name is Mike, I'm surprised I can talk right now." I say trying to regain my thoughts and stay warm by the fire type pokèmom, which as far I know by reading the news paper this is..

"Pleasure to meet you I'm Alex or as some people would high rank Pyro the Arcanine"

he said proudly as he smiled at me. Then it clicked to me, what I was forgetting.

"MY PARENTS! THEY STILL ALIVE!" I yell remembering and start to panic hoping they aren't gone yet.

"Let's go squad, you know the way right kiddo?"

I would nod and stand up feeling warmer not even that cold for being a Glaceon, as we head towards the direction of my home.

The cavern cave in, I began to dig with my paws. The Rescue team trying to help out, but others didn't knowing the truth.

"Mom! Dad! I'm back I evolved and I'm here to save you with the Rescue Team!"

I say hoping they'll be proud to hear my voice, as I make a entrance go inside as the smile I once had go pale. Everyone would go inside one by one, but saw the most disturbing thing they'll ever see in their careers. No one wanted to get close to Mike, they knew right away he needed the silence. The sound of the storm hurling down hard was all they were going to hear, but it wasn't enough to unsee two pokèmom hold each other close who froze to death and the only family member left alive staring at them with tears pouring down his eyes as he is in denial he says.
