Older Rosemonde is woman who set the world on fire because if the person she cares most about is dead, why should anyone else get to be alive?

And now her younger self has to deal with all that, on top of regular issues like saving enough for a new dress and asking for a work promotion. Which is very unfair, she thinks.

Stang's true form is still being workshopped but what matters is that he's big and less pretty than in his human form (not that Less finds him any less attractive)

Puzzled to have been summoned in such a remote place, Stangadric only had to glance around to understand. Just as Less expected, no poem was offered, no elegant comment. Stangadric merely looked at the blooming trees, at the mountains bathed in golden light, and allowed pure awe to show on his face. Without a word, Less came to stand next to Stangadric. The god remained silent but took his hand, and never let go as the sun disappeared.

I want to say big, big thanks to everyone who has liked, reblogged, and commented on this silly little AU! I had a lot of fun drawing this (and a lot of rage too, let's be real XD) so it made me very happy that others enjoyed it too!

Less's social anxiety is insane, but also fairly reasonable considering he's at the very bottom of top part of the social order, and worrying about hidden insults is a necessary skill to have for him. And now not only does he need to worry about his own behaviour, but he has to keep an eye on Stangadric who might break a dozen social rules with just one wrong movement.

On the other hand, Stangadric has been nearly dormant for some centuries, he's struggling to catch up with the way people have changed, and he just doesn't understand what's going on at any moment. Everyone is very impressed at how chill he is when insulted, never realising he doesn't even know there was an insult at all because current subtleties are above him.

(they're not above Less, hence his current stress level)

Attempting a fusion between Heian court fashion and tudor fashion. Mostly the tudors gave those big fat sleeves I'm very fond of, and japan gave the rest.

The main thought behind this was that the puffy sleeves and the many layers of each style served the same purpose: showing off how much money you had

I might do more with that idea, but I also might now. Creative block is real and it is not kind to me
