DECEMBER AVENUE

Ang December Avenue ay isang banda na nagmula sa lungsod ng Maynila, sa bansang Pilipinas na kilala sa kanilang mga viral na komposisyon online. Ang banda ay isa sa mga pinakana-stream na bandang OPM sa lahat ng panahon. Ang banda ay binubuo ng limang katao na sina Zel Bautista sa vocals at guitars, Jem Manuel sa guitars, Don Gregorio sa bass, Jet Danao sa drums at backing vocals, at Gelo Cruz sa keyboards at backing vocals.

Tuwing sumasapit ang buwan ng Disyembre, kasabay ng malamig na simoy ng hangin, tahimik na paligid at malinis na kapaligiran, habang tumutugtog ang kilalang banda sa bansa ay mas lalong nadadama ang pagsabay sa awitin ng December Avenue. Pag labas ng sakit, hinanaing, pasakit, kirot, hinagpis at luha, ang bawat kumpas ng tugtog ay mas nakaka gaan sa pakiramdam, kung kaya't ito ay kay sarap pakinggan.

Ang kanilang mga awitin ay nanaig sa puso, isipan at damdamin ng bawat isang tao na makakarinig sa kanilang mga tugtugin. Lalo nang nakakamangha kung paanong napapaiyak at napapagaan ng mga tugtugin nila ang bawat isa na humahanga sa kanila, lalo't higit ang mga sawi sa pag-ibig na naiwan mag-isa. Ang mga awiting tumatak sa isipan at damdamin ng nga tao kasama na akong isa sa kanilang taga hanga ay ang "Huling Sandali", "Sa ngalan ng Pag-ibig", "Kung Di Rin lang Ikaw", " Sa Dulo ng walang hanggan", "Isang himala", "Kung ako na lang sana" at madami pang iba. Mayroon din silang mga tugtugin na isinulat gamit ang Ingles na lenggwahe, nabibilang dito ay ang, "Sleep Tonight", "City Lights", "I'll be watching you", "Fallin", "Back to love" at madami pang iba.

Bandang Lapis

Binubuo ng pitong miyembro na ang mga awitin ay kay gandang pakinggan at nakakaginhawa sa pakiramdam. Sila rin ang grupo at bandang aking tinatangkilik dahil sa mga musikang isinulat nila na syang nagpasikat at nagpahanga sa maraming tao sa buong sambayanan. Ang kanilang mga musikang aking tinatangkilik ay ang "Kabilang buhay" Isa ito sa awiting aking napakinggan na nagpalungkot sa aking damdamin sapagkat ito ay tungkol sa dalawang magkasintahan na nagmamahalan na pinaglayo ng tadhana. Hindi lang pinaglayo, sila ay pinaghiwalay ng tadhana, at ang isang kabiak ay nasa ating kalangitan naroroon. "Nang dumating ka" Isa sa mga awiting ang liriko ay tungkol sa pagbabago at kaganapang nangyari pagkatapos mong dumating sa buhay ng isang tao. "Sanay Di Na Lang", awiting pamagat pa lamang, alam mo na kung ano ang kahulugan, ibig sabihin ay ang sana hindi na lang nangyari at sanay hindi na lang naganap. "Dating tayo" lirikong nag sisimbolo ng kung anong meron ang nakaraan at kung panong nagbago ito at hindi na maibabalik pa. Hindi na kataka-taka kung bakit marami ang humahanga, tumatangkilik at ginagawang silang paboritong banda dahil sa kanilang mga awitin, sapagkat hindi maipagkakaila ang kagandahan sa kanilang mga musikang isinulat at isa na rin ako sa mga taong iyon. Hindi ko panghihinayangan ang paghanga at pagsuporta sa kanila sa kadahilanang sa kanila ako kumukuha ng motibasyon, pag-asa, aliw, inspirasyon at lakas ng loob upang bumangon muli sa sugat na aking tinamo sa nakaraan. Mga musika, awiting isinulat ng grupo, nag paantig, nag paiyak at nagpahanga sa maraming tao, "Bandang lapis" - and sakit ay labis.

Silent Sanctuary

"Pasensya ka na", "Kundiman", "Sa piling mo", "Sandali lang". "Abot langit", "Rebound", Mga tugtuging aking paborito, na syang inawit ng aking paboritong grupo. Bandang binubuo ng limang miyembro, na may musikang nakakapag pa antig sa puso at damdamin ng bawat isa. Natatandaan ko pa noong isang araw ay hindi inaasahang pumanaw ang aking nag iisang lolo na gumabay sa akin simula akoy maliit pa. Isa ang kantang "Ikaw Lamang" ang nakapag paalala sa akin sa kanya. Bawat liriko nito at bawat rinig ko sa tugtugin ay akoy napapaluha. Nakakahiya mang sabihin ngunit malaki ang epekto sa akin ng kantang ito. Ito lamang ang pinaka nakakapag paalala sa akin sa namayapa kong lolo. Ngunit sa kabila nito, nagpapasalamat ako sa grupo sa pagbuo ng tugtog na ito na syang nakapagpabuhay sa akin ng kayang magagandang ala-ala habang sya ay nabubuhay sa mundong ito. Ang bandang ito ay syang nagpatunay na ang mga tugtugin nila ay isang mahiwagang awitin na nakakapag paantig sa damdamin, puso at isipan ng bawat isang tao, higit ang mga kabataang nakikinig dito. Hiling ko ang madami pang tugtugin at awiting kanilang maililikha na makakapag paantig pa sa maraming tao at kanilang mga taga hanga na tumatangkilik sa kanilang awitin.

Ben & Ben

Isa rin sa mga sikat na grupong umantig at bumihag sa aking damdamin ay ang Ben & Ben o mas kilala sa kanilang tawag bilang "Benjamin's". Ito ay ang grupo na nabuo noong taong 2015, maikling panahon pa lamang ngunit madami na kaagad ang tumagkilik sa kagandahan ng kanilang musika. Hindi lang mga lalaki ang bumubuo sa kanilang grupo, mayroon ding mga babae na syang mas nakapag paganda sa tugtugin at musika nila. Ang aking paborito na nilikha, sinulat at inawit ng grupo nila ay ang "Kathang isip", ito ay ang musikang kay sarap pakinggan at hindi nakakasawang ulit ulitin, sa kadahilanang nakakaantig ito sa damdamin ng bawat isa. Marami rin silang mga tugtugin na sadyang nakakapagpasikat sa kanila at nakakabighani ng puso ng mga to lalot higit ang mga kabataang sawi sa pag ibig. Dahil sa mga lyrics nitong nakakaiyak at nakakalungkot pakinggan. Ang bandang ito ay nagtuturo sa atin kung paanong ang lungkot mo ay mas naiintindihan dahil sa musikang nagpapatama sa iyong nadarama. Isa sila sa mga bandang ipinag papasalamat kong dumating sa buhay ko na sa puntong kung kailangan ko ng mapapakinggang musika na makapagpapagaan sa aking pakiramdam, isa sila sa nariyan at nakakapagpagaan sa aking pakiramdam.

KAMIKAZEE

Sila ay isang grupo, o banda na binubuo ng limang miyembro. Nabuo ang kanilang grupo noong taong 2000. Ang kanilang grupo ay isa rin sa mga sikat na madaming taga-hanga at isa na rin ako roon. Isa sa kanilang patok na kanta o awitin ay ang "Huling Sandali", isa itong awitin na nag patibok at nag pamangha sa maraming tao, higit na rin sa kanilang mga taga hanga. Ang kanilang mga tugtugin ay sadyang nakaka adik at kay sarap pakinggan na mistulang ikaw ay dinuduyan sa hangin habang ang bawat tugtog ay iyong naririnig. Sila rin ang kumanta at umawit ng kantang ating palaging naririnig sa video oke, lalot higit sa mga Bata na paulit ulit itong kinakanta, na parang ito lang ang nag-iisang awiting kanilang alam. Ang "Narda" rin ang isa sa tugtugin nilang nagpahanga at nag paantig sa puso ng madaming tao, higit sa mga bata. Ngunit sa kabila ng kaganlakan at kasiyahan sa tugtuging ito, nagkukubli at nagtatago ang kalungkutan sa bawat letra at salita na nang gagaling sa kanilang musika na hindi rin kaagad mapapansin ng sinumang makaririnig dahil sa mapagpanggap nitong anyo. Ang bandang ito o tinatawag na "Kamikazee" Isa sila sa hinagangaan ng madaming tao dahil sa angking kakayahan nilang mag sulat ng mga tugtuging kay sarap awitin at pakinggan.

PADAYON!

Ever since I was a child, I am not just an ambitious person but a dream goal keeper. Every time and day passes by, my dreams became more hard and frustrating. My goals in life aren't the same at it was once, because everywhere I go and whatever I see, it changes along with the things I saw.

I dreamt of becoming a teacher when I was in Elementary. I've been always looking up to our teachers and wanted to became one of them. I've even wrote signatures down my notebooks, from the first page onto the last. I've always convinced my playmates to be my students so I can teach them and I can pretend that I was a teacher. I did dream to become a Engineer someday because Ive always been a great math student. I've been on a competition where there are lots of mathematician on one class. They also wanted to be a engineer so they persist to be good in mathematics, because they think it is the 1st requirement to be one. When I entered high school, that's when I change my likes on what to become and it is to become a flight attendant, I've always wanted to be one of those who walks in the railway who are the one people look up to. I also wanted to work in different Airlines, Pacifics and International Flights. I want to be able to see myself as a Flight Attendant serving people at board aircraft.

But when I was in 10th Grade up until now, and ever since my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Everything has changed. My dream of being a teacher engineer and Flight attendant crushed. All I just wanted to become is a Doctor, a oncologist to be specified. I want to help people who's been fighting for their life in cancer. To acknowledge, support and make them trust me to be treated immediately, as well as those who's number 1 care is their money, not their health. And lastly, I wanted to help my family, I want myself to help them if they were the one who had diseases, but I wish not. To make money and support them, and make them proud of me for becoming one of those successful people in medical field.

Dear Papa and Mama,

Ever since I was born, you were there, you guys are the one who nurtured me, cared for me, and loved me up until now. Thank you isn't enough for all the sacrifices you have done to us. Even though we always give you disappointments, you always make sure that it was fine, and we can compensate. There were times that we disobey you for not letting us do what we wanted to, but still forgive us and says that "don't do it again". Even all the things we have done, small or bigger one. You guys never did applied your hands, even the things like hangers, slippers, bamboo stick, etc. I can still remember that day when Papa almost hit me with a broom, because I wanted to buy toy but you didn't allow me, so I cry until night and it made him upset, so he was supposed to scared me with a broom, But when he almost hit me with the broom he hugged me so I dwell. You  guys aren't strict like other parents was, so I am thankful to you. I wouldn't let your full trust crushed because of the stupid things I am going to do. When things got hard and frustrating. When we almost had nothing in our pockets and nothing to eat because of difficulty, I'm still blessed and forever be, for all the things God has given to us. We may not be the best and perfect family than ever, and If I were to ask who wanted to be my family, I will choose you no matter what. As I said earlier, Thank you isn't enough for all the sacrifices you have done to us. But still, Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for investing much in raising me. Thank you for spending so much of your time to be with us. Thank you for all the effort to make a loving, caring parents and being there when we needed someone to talk to. Thank you for bringing and letting us live onto this world with your guidance and support.Thank you for all the good memories we shared together, even the bad one's,ill surely treasure it forever. I love you since day one, and nothing in this world can change my love for you. Soon, I'll make you proud. When I become successful, you don't need to work for us because we are going to pay back all your hardworks and sacrifices to us.

SEASON OF LOVE

Despite the challenges we face, we encountered and had passed, it makes us strong and gave us strength, lessons that really helped us. This year isn't just full of happiness but also problems. The pandemic that serves as a real barrier that made our year a big calvary. I know some of us did sworn this pandemic because of the things we cannot do because of it. Our holidays, celebrations and occations that we did under circumstances, it does not feel like before. But still thankful for all the lessons, blessings and teamwork we did.

DECEMBER 24, 2021

Christmas is the best holiday not just for me, but for everyone as well. This season is for giving and exchanging gifts for everyone. This is the one who also makes member of the family comes at home to be together with their loved ones. Before everything that day, it is really important to take mass to greet God for his birthday. We spent our time with him to make him feel that he was love by us. We also prepare foods and decorations to celebrate his birthday, we also took some pictures with the fam and gave gifts to some of our friends and relatives. Our day is simple but happy, and I will always treasure this day up until I can't remember anything.

DECEMBER 31, 2021

This year taught me many things in life. Even how sad and emotional this years was, I'll forever be thankful for all the good things happened. I have lost many friends but gained a lot more different persons that became my bestfriends.

We were together spending our new years eve with our loved ones. We watch one day league first and held our Christmas party before 12:00 am. We came home first to celebrate new year and when the clock counts down until 12:00 all you can hear is motorcycles, cars, vans, torotots and fireworks outside. It does not feel the same as before, but I can say that it was the happiest. We spend the new year together without the heavy feeling in our hearts. We eat, laugh and thank God for another year to live and wish that this year could bring us luck and more blessings that we deserve.

NEW BEGINNING

January is one of the twelve months of the year that many of us waits and feels excited waiting. January is the one symbolises or starts from a great beginning. This month starts from a great celebration called, New Year. At exactly 12:00 am, in January 1. You can see fireworks everywhere, foods and different types of parties to celebrate a new beginning. This may not be the same because of the barrier that covid-19 brought us, but we must be thankful for the blessings in life and for the strong and healthy body and mind he gave, as we face this disaster that makes our life hard.

Sunday, January 3,2021. As an act of thanking our Lord, for giving us new year, new month, new life,  and new Beginning  we took a mass and surrendered our self to him, our Lord. We apologise for the sins that made us bad. We thank him for the life he gave, for the blessings and for all the good things that had happen to us. We may not be the best but he makes us feel that we are loved.

REALITY

For me, the highlighted scene that had happen to me on the month of February was me, doing module. Since I was doing the same thing in the whole month and I can't recap the things I did except doing my modules, I chose this. Doing modules really doesn't feel so Good for others but I can enjoy it because I really love writing and discovering new lessons that I must do. Doing essays and delivering speech in English, discovering history in Araling Panlipunan, Learning the different formulas in Mathematics, Exercising and Dancing in Mapeh, Learning how to have a good attitude and how to help others with the help of Edukasyon Sa Pagpapakatao. Our module really do help us in many ways, that's why it is enjoyable. Even how hard and frustrating answering modules are, if you enjoyed and take time doing it, you can't notice that you aren't bored.

In my highlighted scene in the month of February I added one picture, you can see a flower, a rose it is. This was my first ever craft that I really love the outcome. This may not be the perfect, but for me, this is the best. I spent my whole time doing it while not stressing my self out.

BOODLE FIGHT

Nothing really happened to me on the Month of March, the 3rd month of the year. But as you can see at the picture, it is me with my relatives and friends doing boodle fight. This is our first boodle fight together, but take note, we did this with some circumstances due to covid-19. This is the happiest day of the month for me that's why I chose this. Taking pictures before, during and after eating. Making vlogs and laughing while eating. Taking our time to be happy while we are together.

As you can see in this picture is my cousin taking her time, consuming the leftover foods, while we are busy finding for a solvent to our full stomach. But after that great time eating, and resting, it's the time we spent on washing all the plates, kaldero and tables that we used. But we did it happily because we played while washing them.

D-DAY

April, my favorite month of the year. Gonna know why? Because this is the month we're I came into this world. The month we're I waited for almost 4 months since January to celebrate my special day. For me As I grow older, the more I appreciate the life, God has given to me. I loved myself more than before, I realized that no one can love me as much as I can do, that's why I love myself so much.

This really is my favorite month because this is the day I feel loved, appreciated and remembered. I was the center of attraction, so many greetings everywhere that made my day and made my heart fluttered with joy. Within that day, I took some photos to post in social media, I really feel thankful for God, for giving me another year to celebrate, for my family who brought me into this world, and for their time preparing for my birthday, and for all my friends and relatives who made my day and spend their time to celebrate with me even they are busy, and for all the greetings and gifts I Received, that's my favorite day of the year.

Thats not yet the ending of my happy month. Here comes the picture of me and my mom. This really is my favourite because in this, you can see her genuine and loving smile. I felt happy because despite the challenge that we face as my mom  was diagnosed by cancer, but now recovering. that's one I'm thankful for, and one of the best birthday gift I have ever received from God.

FEAST OF SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR

On the fifth month the of the year, 2nd and 3rd day of the month, we celebrated The Fiesta of our barangay. This fiesta is not the same as before, due to the proliferation of Covid-19, but we make sure to celebrate the day happy so we can say "Day Well Spent". We come to the church to take the mass and meet some of our old friends while wearing our masks and face shields. After that we bond with some of our friends and relatives and eat our prepared food, meals. We took pictures as well, so we can have a memory of that special day. As we celebrate our fiesta, I can feel a little bit of a sad feeling because I miss the old fiesta, we're in the morning, we are awakened by the band and some majorettes that parades in the road. I also misses coming into different houses in our barangay to eat what they prepared. I also missed doing "Luwa", thats what we called to someone who does poem while wearing a gown or a barong in a well built place where we stand up and did some hand gestures. I missed also the time when we go to the church after the Luwa scene to watch some fireworks and to watch the show that they prepared, it sometimes is a Live band, a singing contest and a comedy show.

PICTORIAL

June 20201 In this month we did our pictorial for our graduation. We did some photoshoots one by one and our class picture, as well as the circle of friends that was built in the whole school for 4 years. That picture will serve as our last picture together. When taking pictures, I feel sad because I know it will be our last picture together because we are going to be separated. I also reminisce our High school together. As well as the good and bad memories we experienced together. This may be the last picture with our faces because it might be different as time pass by. I might be happy as you can see, but deep inside I was sad. Junior High School was my favorite because of the memories I had. There are many things and lessons I learned that I can bring into the future. For many laughs and tears that I can still remember. Reminiscing my Junior high school days really Is my favorite . I have met lot of people, teacher, classmates and friends, and they will always have a special place in my heart.

MOM'S SPECIAL DAY

The one who nurtured me, supported me and brought me into this world celebrated her birthday in this month, my mom. I really love, care, adore and idolize her. She's not just my mom, she's our hero. She's 51 this day, July 5 and I'm so thankful to God for bringing her in this world and making her stay with us up until this day. I felt sorry because last year, as she became 50 years old and had her golden year birthday, we did not prepare a grand present. Its because we don't have money, we just bought a Cake and a coke and we ordered foods in Jollibee, but I know even its just that, she appreciated it. She's the most adorable who always appreciate things, even it's big or small. I thank God for giving her strength to fight with her Cancer and for not letting my mom without us. I thank mom for not giving up and prioritising our family always. She deserves everything in this world, because she's too precious and I won't let anyone, whoever it is to hurt her, I love her so much. This is the special day of the month for me, not just because its her birthday, but because this is her favorite day and this day is the one I'm thankful for, because God allows mom to live in this world, to have a husband and to have me and my sister as her daughters.

TABLE

This month is the one I called, "preparation day". Me and my sister spent our money buying new table, appliances and things that I need and I might use in my next journey as a student. I will be a senior high school student next month that's why I am preparing my things, as well as myself. I Feel nervous while preparing so I sat beside my mom who's laying down our duyan. I felt comforted while talking to her and she gave me some comforting words, advice, support and words of wisdom. We spend  more time talking and laughing until she fell asleep and I continue what I was doing. I clean my space and all the things that can be a barrier to my eyes. My sister also helped me preparing that's why we finished earlier than expected. It felt comforting cleaning, preparing and getting ready for a new start.

BACK TO SCHOOL

The highlighted scene happened to me on the Month of September was my first day of school. I am now studying at Rizal College Of Taal. It is hard at first, all I can feel is excitement and nervousness in my whole system. Some of them are known by me already because I've already make friends with them. In our first day and first week of school, we did some introductions about ourselves. I am an overthinker so I think that they might hate me or not like me, but as soon as they introduced themselves, I felt relieved. The teaches are nice, as well as the students here. All you can see is each other helping, supporting and assisting everyone. I am still innovating but still I am happy. Since I am not used in online class, I'm still adjusting. We almost spent our whole day facing our gadgets, that's why I feel dizzy. I am happy because this month made me face new faces, new surrounding, new lesson and new life. I still miss my past classmates but I bond with them everytime to prevent me from being sad.
