Jason did not know that. He should've, probably,since Val had similar powers, but he didn't think of it.

When he spotted the kid walk down the street without a care in the world after scarecrow's gas blast,he panicked a bit. He didn't really wanna get close because that'd mean he'd get infected with the toxins,and he wasn't in the time to he vanlruable.

So he instead just yelled.

"HEY!! VAL, WHAT'RE YOU DOING OUT THERE?!" he lets out a loud yell.

I have 0 idea, that's why I'm asking. All i know is that breathing hurts,ribs are bruised and have pain.

He takes the package and goes to warm some water. He puts the dry noodles in a bowl and waits for yhe water in the old kettle to get ready.

"So,uh. Do you like my apartment..? I have a lot of green here" he glares and motions at the plants on the windows and balcony. "I also have a dog... I don't think you've seen him. Which is weird he didn't hear or smell you...hm,maybe it's something with your pollen powers."

"anyway-" he gets cut off by the kettle making a whistling noise, signaling the water's heated. He spills the water in the bowl of noodles and puts another plate on top of the bowl so that steam won't leave.

"now we just wait 5 minutes." He adds.

"I don't have that,i have chicken noodles." He reaches to get them from the fridge. "I can give you a bowl of these and some juice." He says "or we can order." He adds.

"either way i have to give you something to eat." He explains. "Are you injured in any way? I can also take care od that.".

He knew he was starting to sound needy and/or protective and that that wasn't good, but he was just trying to follow some rules,and that was important to him.

"I'm not a stalker!!" He protests. "I just wanted to make sure you were safe! Gotham's dangerous!" He exclaims. Deep down,he was actually proud the kid copied his behaviour and followed him home aswell,and even better, without him noticing.

Well- maybe the last part was because he's very tired and too groggy to notice,but in his eyes he at least knows she's more capable than what he originally thought now...!

"..and thanks for the pretzels.." he says quietly, almost emberessed to admit he's thankful for the gift.

"do you want uhhh...iddono,what you kids consume these days?,you want some bread?..or... something?" He didn't really have much at his home right now,but he grew up being taught to always obey the rule of Xenia,so he wanted to make sure Val was at least comfortable.

Jason seemed stunned. A bit scared,aswell. "But-" he starts. "How did you even find my house?!" His thoughts were running with hypotheticals. It was all 'what if she unmasked me in my sleep without me noticing?!' and 'what of she found my identity?!'. No..no way. Surely the kid has morals,she wouldn't do it. Right?
