I have a crazy, fun story… and A NEW VIDEO to share!!!

Ok, so a year or 2 ago I stumbled upon a YouTube​ video of an artist doing INCREDIBLE minimalist spray paint stencil art. The video I saw was a piece the artist did featuring Morrissey. I was BLOWN AWAY. I even wrote about it and shared it on Facebook​. Little did I know, that very artist would go on to help start Posteritty​. Then, through my good friend and band mate, Rob Lane​, the fine folks at Posteritty would go on to do posters for People On Vacation​. At that point, I still had not met the guys from Posteritty. I LOVE the posters they’ve done for POV and became an immediate fan of their work. Finally got to meet the dudes in the UK during a POV tour… but still was NOT aware that one of the guys was the very artist (who I knew as “Ramart79” on YouTube) that I was such a fan of. The Posteritty guys became friends and they’ve gone on to do some really great art for my solo stuff. One day towards the end of last year, I got an email from Rob Marchant​ (Posteritty co-founder). It was something to the extent of, “Hey, you probably have no idea, but I do these spray paint, stencil art videos and I’d love to do one of YOU featuring one of your songs.” Then, and this is where it gets a little crazy, he included a link to the very Morrissey video that I had shared almost 2 years prior. I had NO IDEA that Rob/Posteritty… the company that had been doing poster art for myself and POV… the guy who I considered a friend and had been working with for about a year… was, in fact “Ramart79”. INSANITY!!! Hahaha. I freaked out and said something like, “THAT WAS YOU?!?!” … and went on to share this same story with him.

It’s a crazy small world we live in, huh? I’m a huge fan of companies and artists like Rob/Posteritty. We have similar beliefs in that the artistic community should support each other in any way possible. That’s how the art/music community grows and thrives. We have to support each other, build each other up and help when & wherever we can. Here’s a perfect example. I provided the music, and he provided the art. I still can’t believe I have my very own “Ramart79” spray paint, stencil art video!!! Haha. SO COOL.
