My piece for Day 28 of Inktober 2023
I love painting the sea, so I thought combining that with a POV shot of a sparkling bride would fit the prompt well. I went with a hand drawn Disney-esque style that looked like an animation cell once I inked it.

My piece for Day 27 of Inktober 2023
I aimed to incorporate more of a story in this piece. What if something so deceptively cute, was actually a beast hidden in plain sight? I wanted the lighting to give the impression of a torch revealing a murder scene, whilst also emphasising the shadow of the puppy’s true form.

My piece for Day 26 of Inktober 2023
My first male OC. I was initially going to outline everything in black and white, but I instead decided to practice making background art with colour.

My piece for Day 25 of Inktober 2023
This is based on a dream I had after playing House of Ashes. I didn’t really know which direction to take the art style in so I just embraced the chaos and played with green light.

My piece for Day 24 of Inktober 2023
For the prompt I wanted to try practice inking a POV shot from underwater, so that I could try experimenting with line thicknesses and blur effects.

My piece for Day 23 of Inktober 2023
Kept it simple for this one. I experimented with filters to create a galaxy background, so that I had something for the silhouettes to contrast with.

My piece for Day 22 of Inktober 2023
I wanted to draw a different body type than I usually do to improve on my character design, so for the prompt I designed a character that has a range of scratches, and a prosthetic leg too.

My piece for Day 21 of Inktober 2023
Had an idea for an escape scene using a chained chandelier. However I played with some watercolour brushes for this one to give it that traditionally drawn and painted appearance.

My piece for Day 19 of Inktober 2023
It’s been so long since I’d drawn a chibi so I thought that would fit the prompt well. Here’s my OC Trucilla holding a plump cat plushy.

My piece for Day 18 of Inktober 2023
My idea for this prompt was a girl riding a carousel horse, but with a gradient made up of a few bright colours, as a backdrop for an ink drawing.

I went with stained glass looking art again, but this time I used more fluid looking brushes rather than textured ones.

I’m feeling less invested in drawing in just black and white, so I attempted stained glass looking art for the prompt.

For this prompt I wanted to practice placing characters in a scene. I drew a small section of a castle to make that easier to accomplish.

My piece for Day 12 of Inktober 2023
I thought of doing a piece based on Buttercup from The Power Puff Girls, but I decided to draw the whole trio instead, with some gothic aesthetic fashion thrown in.
