This past summer has been awesome for Jay's Henna Art. We had the ability to bring on board 3 super talented Calgary henna artists to assist Jay's Henna Art with a handful of festivals. . We were also able to tease a few photos of a new product that I've been working on for the past year to add to the @jayshennaart brand, and I am happy to say that we've finally perfected it! . The @jayshennaart artists has been testing out our white henna paste this past summer at festivals to see what kind of reactions we would get from the look, consistency, & durability of the paste. . I am happy to say that the white henna paste received positive feedback, & now we will be featuring it as an option for private, group, & bridal appointments! Last weekend I was fortunate enough to have been invited to the Untamed Bar YYC hosted by Suzaane from @barstarbuch! The Untamed Bar was a booze-free event to fundraise for Wellspring Calgary. Wellspring is an agency that provides supportive care for cancer patients & their families. . Personally, I really enjoy creating the little dots to complete a henna design. There is just something about it that is soo satisfying. Which stain is your favorite?? 1, 2 or 3? . I found a new jagua supplier and I am so so happy with the quality of product! They were also so kind and helpful after I made a dumb mistake during the ordering process! . I am playing with paste consistency and mixes to create different stain colors! All 3 pastes were left on for 5 hours before removal. As you swipe through the photos you can see the stain progression over 3 days. .
