Pi didn't choose a name for himself, but after he lost his memories, another family adopted him and named him Pi Piwantal. Although it's a bit funny, since his adoptive mom called him after his favorite dish, a blueberry pie she would bake him, and just spelt it in a different way, he had never changed it. Even after learning what his real name was, he still kept it because he knew he was more of a Piwantal at this point than a member of lalafell family he was born in.

If your WoL chose their own name, how did they choose it?

Not my WoL, but a group of characters actually. I was thinking of a group of Duskwight living at the edge of Ilsabard and salvaging parts of Magitek to repurpose it into mechanical puppets, thus being the only characters in my FFXIV writing to have a job that isn't seen in FFXIV -- Puppetmaster from FFXI.

Are there any classes from the Final Fantasy series that don't appear in XIV that you could see your WoL picking up? (Time Mage, Beserker, Green Mage, Geomancer, etc)

If we are not counting the whole Island Counsil of Silverclaw plot kickstarted right after Dawntrail, Pi's last promise was made to Tau, his Dwarven crush from the First. He promised her they will meet one another again eventually, and that they will continue to watch the night sky, knowing that they are still out in the world somewhere and that they still care for each other.

Depending on how DT postgame will go, Pi might need to choose between returning to the First for a visit, or continuing the quest bestowed upon him by his Island Counsil, if by the end of the last patch the Scions manage to open a proper gateway to the First. Choosing between his family and friends, and his first love he had to leave alone in a different reflection might be a hard choice, but hopefully he comes to a compromise where he is able to fulfill the task given by Silverclaw and his promise to Tau without much sacrifice.

What was the last promise your WoL made? Have they broken it yet? Will they?

Uuum, wooden toys? Pi might feel a bit bad for parting with his own creations, but if it means seeing smiles on people's faces, then he will do it.

Some games that allow for custom characters also use this technique (like FFXIV, because I worked with it before, but there are a lot more games that do that probably). I don't quite remember why they do it, but I think it's for the optimization or something. Making a full model for each combination of a face and body, for example, would be inefficient.

An idea I've had on the backburner for a while now is getting a model of Coraline off of Xenoblade X in order to have a more flexible reference for her when drawing, because going by screenshots is limited enough, especially for specific poses.

Well today, after learning how to import models into CSP, I figured I'd look back into it and it's been working I managed to finally get a full dump of Xenoblade X's files and access the models.

Due to the way Xenoblade X works though, all of the pieces of each character model are seperated, it's actually super interesting to see how the devs made this kind of thing work from a development standpoint. As a result though I effectively have to assemble any character I want a model for from scratch, and it's...

Late evening scribble. Wanted to draw Pi's childhood friend Rewani bin Balrahn because I have never given him a design even though he was kinda important to the story when Pi was at home. Not pictured there, but his right upper fang is golden because he lost a tooth during EW.

The scales on his face have the features of both Face 1 and Face 3. Same goes for the horns, as they are a mix of the two as well.

Hey, it's been a full year since I started playing Final Fantasy XIV! I can hardly believe it has been this long… I could never get into an MMO, but XIV is different and it managed to hook me in a couple of days. And look at me now, lol

There are a few, but here's the one that I try to get in any game it appears in

A few of mine do, actually. But if we focus on my main boy Pi Piwantal, he loses his right foot during the Empire's invasion into the Waking Sands, where Livia shoots at his foot in order to immobolize him which, in turn, shatters his bones in that foot. After he is rescued from Castrum Meridianum and sent back home to recover, that foot gets amputated. Several months later, when his father comes back home with two Garlean refugees who were interested with his son's disability, they started working on making a prosthetic foot for him with all the knowledge they had and eventually he did get his foot back, even if it still took him a while to get used to it. It also tended to break and was originally quite bulky as well and the design got revised over the months. He received the last upgrade to his prosthetic foot during post-EW. It how isn't so heavy, doesn't break a lot and sure does look like a foot even if it's still noticably mechanical.

Hey! I have finally decided to properly open my commissions! I reworked some stuff and even managed to design a proper pricelist this time!

Due to where I live currently (Russia), I am unfortunately unable to receive payments through usual services that people use internationally to pay artists (most are blocked, and even if some aren't, the payment is very unlikely to go through anyway). The only service that still works pretty consistently is Boosty, for which you don't need to create an account, luckily.

If you want to ask me a commission, DM me here on Tumblr! Since this is technically not my main blog, you can probably onlyy be able to DM me through this one. For now I have three slots opened for August (but I am gonna start accepting the commissions now, I am in my Summer break still). It might take some time for me to draw, but I will try my best to deliver it as quickly as I can.
