My homemade (I think healthy) meal.
I hate salads. I REALLY hate salads. I’m allergic to almost everything. Most raw fruits and veggies, tofu, avocado, bean sprouts…etc I started cooking a lot more in Hong Kong because there are a lot less food options. It was pretty scary when I realized there was no seamless, no microwaveable food, nothing. Its hard to find just regular food that tastes good. So I took it upon myself to make the magic happen.
The ingredients: 110 g Salmon Fillet 2 Zucchini 1 Teriyaki sauce packet
First I marinaded the fish. I put the sauce and the fish in a ziplock bag and left it in the fridge for 30 mins.
As that sat I cut the zucchini.
After the 30 mins, when I was absolutely starving and contemplating why I didn’t make something faster. I turned on the pan and plopped my fish on to cook. 3 mins on each side was enough to cook it through perfectly. But it depends on your stove and how thick the fish is cut.
I put the fish on the side and put butter in the frying pan. I tossed all the zucchini in and waited till it was golden brown. Don’t forget a dash of salt as they are browning.
I piled the zucchini high to prop of the salmon and viola! Drizzle a bit of butter from the zucchini on top plus some teriyaki sauce and perfecto! A healthy and delicious meal.

My new purchases in Hong Kong! When I left New York I had no idea what kind of shoes to bring. I couldn't get my mind out of how cold it was and how I needed my boots. But what to wear in 70 F degree weather? I only brought my flats and they are not the best for running after buses. They also don't offer good support for your feet. I first was going to purchase some vans because they are semi stylish but also comfortable. But in HK they don't carry many styles. I was looking for a basic black sneaker. I saw these slip ons and really liked how they were different. They are by Koetic Friday. They also have really cool clothes too. Heres the link to see their SS15 collection: https://m.facebook.com/CatalogHK/albums/10153227527561060/ The socks are my absolute favorite. My friend chanel thinks I have a problem. I love funky socks! Rah! Is also a HK brand that is also sold at Catalog. https://m.facebook.com/CatalogHK/albums/10153227528986060/ I really like that Koetic Friday and Rah! are local brands. They have a humorous eclectic style. Which i absolutely love 😻 💥

A models life consists mostly of running around the city frantically to make it to 5 different places scattered around the city. Sometimes I think I’m a hamster and the subway is my wheel. I literally have walked, bused, trained everywhere in NYC and Hong Kong.
These are a few things I always lug around with me.
My Marissa Webb heels. The most comfortable pair of heels I own. They always put my best foot forward.
Can’t forget my book and cards! These have my measurements which are ignored most of the time and I have to deal with wearing a size 9 shoe when I’m a size 7.
You NEVER know when its going to rain cats and dogs. This Accessorize umbrella is the tiniest of them all! Or it could be sunny as hell when your trying to find the building number on the building. But if course it’s the smallest numbers in the corner over there! I love these Cotton On sunnies. They are really good at hiding tired eyes or crazy shoot makeup after work.
The Tangle Teezer is the most interesting hair brush ever. Yeah, its that gold thing. It fits in the palm of your hand and has small plastic bristles that don’t pull your hair. It gets out the toughest birds nest of hairspray hair. Because it's plastic it's easy to wash.
A girl always needs a mirror. Shout out to Nolan Lee of @powskateboards for the awesome sticker!
It gets tiring running around all day. A thing that livens me up is GingerChi’s Relief Roller. I rub it on my inner wrists, the back of my neck, and or temples if I have a headache. The ginger and peppermint energizes and relieves any pain I have throughout the day.
Another trick is to dab a little lip gloss on your lips. They look more hydrated and make you look healthier. This YSL lip oil tint is absolutely perfect. The more you put on, the more concentrated the color.
Uh oh hotdog! Haha yeah, thats not real. Its where I keep the unmentionables, the girl stuff. Gotta be prepared for anything.
Jblam!

Travel essentials I just cant live without! From New York City to Hong Kong a girls gotta have her essentials for great skin and great hair.
1. Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil The only makeup remover I can’t live without! Nothing compares to this. It completely washes all the stuck on mascara with just one pump. Also the formula is not oily at all. This method is so much better than using a regular makeup remover with a pad that just pulls the skin around the eye instead of actually removing anything.
2. Aēsop B & Tea Balancing Toner So I am currently in Hong Kong which is a lot more humid than New York. I’d wake up and feel my face was oily and sticky. I bought this toner to close up more pores after cleansing and hopefully remove the oil. I really love the smell. It smells like jasmine to me which is one of my favorite scents. I like to use it over my eyes to get any makeup residue off. It doesn’t sting my eyes which is great.
4. Weleda White Mallow Face Cream This is an ultimate favorite. My face is suuuper sensitive and really dry in New York. This is a bit thick for the humid weather but a little goes a long way. I also use the body lotion. It seriously changed my skin in a week. I was having a breakout of eczema where i had huge red dry patches all over my body. I used this cream multiple times a day whenever i felt the slightest dry. The results were truly amazing. I had baby soft skin like never before! This is really a great product for people who suffer from skin disorders.
4. GingerChi Argan Anti Wrinkle Roller This lightweight oil comes in the perfect roll on bottle. Even though I’m too young for wrinkles, I use it on the dry spots on my forehead, under my eyes and around my mouth. You can really smell the rosemary. GingerChi has the most amazing smelling products which are all natural essential oils. There are no additives which is a breath of fresh air from all those words I can’t spell.
5. Origins Clear Improvement Hong Kong makes my skin go crazy. It goes from dry and tight to bumpy and oily. I bought this mask to clear out my pores for a more even surface. I love putting masks in the fridge. I left it on for 5 mins then washed it off. My pores seemed a lot smaller and my skin was more refreshed.
6. DryBar Detox Dry Shampoo This is also an ultimate fave. I usually wash my hair every 5 days. I’m a girl thats all about products that smell good. I hate sweet over powering scents that clash with everything else you’re wearing. This has the perfect musky smell that makes dirty hair smell really good (from a guys opinion, well they didn’t know it was dirty ;)) I spray about 3-4 times around the crown, then brush it out and voila! My hair looks clean with a bit of volume!
7. L’Occitane Repairing Oil My ends are always dry and damaged. I use this when my hair freshly washed and damp. Or when its dry to control the frizz. It has a similar scent to the DryBar dry shampoo but a little more floral. I’m almost halfway done with the bottle and I know I’ve had it for more than 4 years. This stuff goes a long way. I love it because of the consistency. It’s not too oily so i can use 1-2 maybe even 3 pumps and my hair won’t be oily/weighed down.
