I made a silly poem to make me feel better about executive dysfunction

A little bit done is a little bit more than before,

And if you do a little bit again then there's a little bit more,

Do this over and over, again and again,

But the list is so long, and you panic, and then-

You see, sometimes we see so much stuff there to do,

And when we're choosing a start, we haven't a clue,

So then we stop still, overwhelmed and defeated,

Day after day until we're fed up of this repeated.

But instead of seeing forest, what if we concentrate on one tree?

See the trunk, branches, leaves and the roots for what they be,

Just one single tree standing tall, strong and still,

What if you start at the base, just one chop, chop, until-

A little bit done is a little bit more than before,

And if you do a little bit again then there's a little bit more,

Do this over and over, again and again,

And eventually you'll have all your tasks done in the end!

Don't be afraid to lean on people sometimes. Life is hard and things are difficult and there will be times where you get so far into your head that you can't find a way out and that's when you need someone to just take your hand and guide you.

It's fine to ask for help. You'll be surprised at how eager people will be to help you out because they love you.

May Fics

Yeah, tomorrow I finish my Kinktober universe fic (160K words later lmao) and May will see new fics come into the picture and I thought I would write it down so we all know, collectively, where my train wreck of a brain is okei? Okei, here we go:

Starting 29th April to be updated weekly we have "Let Go" - Carry on fic to Tell Me I'm A Good Boy we see a stressed out Jere and sexworker Dom J's lives come careening together in a celestial explosion destined for the most star crossed of lovers.

Starting 3rd May to be updated weekly we have "'Till Death Us Do Love" - vamp!Jere AU where the world has been turned upside down by humans trying to mess with Mother Nature. We follow the life of Jere who has a run in with Damon (yes, Damon Baker is the pairing!) that will send both of their lives spiralling out of control, the only thing left to hang on to is each other.

Starting 1st May to be updated fortnightly I am carrying on my Finding NetherRealm series (even though I was meant to finish it but I mean, I can't stop apparently). I will chapterise it but each chapter will be it's own little story in itself that follows one storyline.

So there we have it, I hope I will have you along for the ride.

Daily affirmation:

Some people don't believe in the universe being able to hear you. I do. I believe in manifestation and 'so mote it be'. It's okay if you don't. We all have different beliefs and that's fine, but looking back on the moment I walked out of my job and didn't look back after reaching my breaking point (I found out later it was autistic burnout after no diagnosis for 33 years) I honestly believe that the universe heard me break, heard the snap of a fragile soul and sent me exactly what I needed.

I didn't watch eurovision, never even thought about the cold country in Europe, but I started seeing videos of him being his silly self, and after days of crying I began to smile.

You may think it coincidence, and that's fine, but I just want you to know that you're not alone, never, because the universe will always have your back and will send you exactly what you need, when the time is right.
