I have three jobs that are all unstable. I live in complete poverty as a sole provider to a family of three in the global south. I am on maintenance medicine for hypocalcemia, type II diabetes and hypothyroidism for the rest of my life. My mother is a full time wheelchair user with very low movement, my father is managing a chronic kidney disease, and my sister is autistic with a low frustration threshold. I am their sole provider, and now dealing with nerve damage post surgery- a quarter of my face, and nearly my entire neck has not healed properly- its numb and painful and makes it hard to work for me as it limits my own movement somewhat. After the army entered the city, we went out to Rafah under the attack of planes and missiles.And the bullets that spare no one, we lived in torn tents that did not protect from the heat, the cold, or the rain. All the words in the world cannot describe what we have lived through. All I want is for you to look at me and my family with a merciful heart and help me.

Before October 7th, I lived a humble life, dedicated to teaching and raising my children. But everything changed. Since that day, my family and I have been living in unimaginable conditions—without electricity, without clean water, without safety.

Our home was destroyed, and we now sleep in a torn tent, exposed to the freezing cold. My children cry from hunger and fear. The markets are empty or unaffordable. Bread is now a luxury—I knead pasta just to make something to fill their stomachs

Please open your heart and stand with us in this time of despair.

We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive. A blanket for the cold. A piece of bread. A roof that does not leak. A moment of peace for my children

Jelly's OC: Yan Fuwei, member of the city guard, resident of the 16 hells. The single father of a daughter with a huge god-complex... he's trying his best. Generally open and reassuring, but has one-sided beef with said daughter's imaginary friend (it's complicated). 有点石狮+京剧感🐾

Clair's OC: Enda Ming, God of Death and Chef Extraordinaire, takes great pride in the processing of the dead. It's grueling work weeding out the sinners from the saints, but with a trusty flock of reaper-doves at his side, he ensures that each and every soul meets a delicious and peaceful end. 死神鸟🕊

Hello everyone, I am making another one of these posts in case anyone would like to buy a print from me, or subscribe to my patreon, or just send in a tip. My whole life has recently been thrown in a loop. The kind of situation where it's like. "it only takes one medical emergency."

I spent my birthday at the hospital. Some of the darkest days of my life. Ti-rads 4 giant goiter that needed to be removed, awake intubation. Blessedly, my biopsy was benign, and I don't remember anything from the surgery. anesthesiologists said my airways almost collapsed. In some medical debt. But I am so happy I am alive. On a battalion of meds. I only just now started being able to move around as normal. I need all the help I can get from community. I had no income the two months I was sick. My mother is unable to move independently. My father has kidney failure, and my sister is pretty much my kid. She is autistic with a very low frustration threshold. I am the only person in my family who works, and I have three jobs, but all of which are unstable. I need to take thyroid h*rm*ne replacement for the rest of my life as maintenance medicine; as all of the funds I received from my gofundme was poured into surgeon fees. I'm penniless with a calcium deficiency, legit nothing to eat with a family of four to take care of ): please help me recover, help me buy calcium supplements and my thyroid maintenance medicine as I am essentially someone with hypothyroidism, and meds to treat my diabetes (sitaglipin and metformin). I only have around 6 days left of medicine before I run out. I am so grateful to still be alive, and I owe it all to you guys, and I am hoping everyone can still be generous to help me rebuild what is my new life as someone disabled with no support system irl. Thank you so so much.

Finally sharing the OC mini comic I made a year ago for the xianxia oc zine Jade Reverie!

Honestly some of my favorite comic work I've done.. there are a lot of areas for improvement, but overall, im very happy with what I did

Pg 1: two highschoolers, a middle aged corporate cog, and a military veteran find themselves trapped in a strange, fantastical dimension. The corporate worker seems to have had experience with this phenomena before

Pg 2: a talking bone fish arrives, introducing the microdimension they're trapped in as a "temple" while referring to the people gathered as players. The bone fish is recognized by the corporate worker as the guide for this temple instance.

Pg 3: many many miles and 2 whole dimensions away is Zhen Jiyue, the jiao dressed in black, who is revealed to be the one speaking through the bone fish. Unfortunately, the medium he uses to scry and connect across space time has shattered under prolonged stress/overuse.

Pg 4: yueyue turns to sanyin, the girl in light colors, demanding her to fix the shattered medium. Sanyin on paper is his support and loyal partner, but the reality of yueyue's demanding job and poor emotional regulation leads to a much more strained, animosity filled relationship.

Pg 5: sanyin does fix the medium, with much reluctance, and expresses her irritation (she is mute). Due to the time sensitive nature of yueyue's job, she does not put up much of a fight, but nurses her long-formed resentment towards yueyue.

After yueyue regains control of the bonefish + subsequent situation in the temple, he's calmed down enough for the guilt and shame towards how he acted to surface.

Yet his own inner conflict is not enough to inspire him to change. It seems that, as of now, yueyue embodies the sea that is his domain, forever isolated in abyssal waters.

I think this is the first time I shared anything substantial abt my ocs/comic story wip on tumblr? I mightve shared my minotaur art but it's not a comic.

Anyways this universe/story wip is unlimited flow based, thus pulling references/inspo from various lit, mythology, etc etc. Yueyue is 蛟龙 while sanyin is 鲛人. They're not related by blood but are forced to live in the same abandoned underwater kingdom together/forced to have some kind of relationship with each other, which takes the form of coworkers + boss and underling + maybe siblings on a good day.
