Still practicing backgrounds and scenes for my illustrations. I am in love with the warmth in the colour palette of this one, it feels like that drink is well needed. I am also trying to loosen up in my line work and make more intentional marks. I do feel a warmth and looseness in this illustration that I haven’t achieved before so I am definitely on the right track. I bumped into a greyhound mum yesterday, who was out walking with her two beautiful girls, rescued from the racing industry, now living their best life. Z is for……Zebra 🦓 My final letter!! Yay I made it. I have had such a wonderful time completing this collection. Exploring my comfort and not so comfort zones, I feel coming out the other side, that I have a clearer picture of what art I want to make and what makes me tick as an artist. I feel a lot more confident in my style and can’t wait to keep creating. I hope to work on the formatting of this collection and have it ready to launch in the new year.
