I took so many photos @alynwilliamswestbury! My entire experience was such a delight, that this instagram could never do it justice.❤️🍽 Our afternoon started out in the kitchen with @alyn_williams himself. 👏🏼 He showed such hospitality (and true patience) as we picked his brain and got to hear about his experience as a chef @thewestburymayfair. It was an honor to be invited into his pristine kitchen and to observe his efficient staff. ✨✨After all, it’s not every day that you get a sneak-peak behind-the-scenes look into these culinary institutions. London trips have become a really special treat for me when I get to see old faces and eat at amazing restaurants, that in some cases would be easily twice the price in NYC. I can thank my friend Elliot (aka “Ello-zies”)for helping me stuff myself into a food induced coma that lovely jet-lagged afternoon. Absolutely loved my little doily room experience at Opulence Hotel in Gloucester Place. I actually felt like I was sleeping in a doll house where everything was scaled down to my size.🤗The view was the best from my floor but the lift-less building made for a nice stair climbing experience with suitcases.😅My quads are still sore. However, the inn-keeper was the best and made sure my room was ready for an early check-in. That’s always appreciated when you’ve just landed and have to rush off to your Michelin lunch ressy. It’s always important to participate in some type of sports while I’m traveling. Unfortunately I forgot my swimsuit and sneakers this time around and wasn’t able to enjoy all of @thehotelhershey ‘s amenities. 🤸🏼‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️In lieu of my normal jog and swim routine, I decided to partake in a little falconry for the afternoon. 💁🏻‍♀️I was truly delighted to see it was directed by an extremely informative and interactive teacher that was passionate about his cause. You can’t leave @thehotelhershey without stopping by #thecircularrestaurant for their impressive brunch. In fact, it’s an obligatory experience featuring an extensive hot and cold buffet line that seems to go on for miles. The Iberian Lounge @thehotelhershey is where all the crazy kids go after dinner to close the place down, while sipping on featured cocktails such as the “Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini”, a concoction of #CastriesPeanutbutterRum #360chocolatevodka and @mariebrizardusa chocolat liqueur.
