trying to decide if i want to use a dialogue i’ve written in a fic i’m planning/half writing or if i want to turn it into a comic script and post it as its own thing. the fic fits the scene fine but it also wouldn’t suffer if it were cut. i like the visuals but its also so much dialogue that drawing it would take like 4 pages lmao

Forgot about the part in The Suffering Game where Justin describes Taako thinking of Magnus and Merle as "these clowns that have fixed onto him, barnacle-like, as he tries to save the earth." It's just something about the way Taako, for all the "good out here," half-seriously thinks of himself as the planet-saving hero, and Magnus and Merle as his sidekicks. The way he tries to fully pin the blame for the three of them being joined at the hip onto anyone but Taako himself. I love the way that Taako makes quip to completely brush off how much the other boys mean to him bleeds into Justin talking about their dynamic too. I love them so much.

almost all my fics are things that, if i had infinite time and resources and sufficient skill, i would draw instead, like my writing is an attempt to convey my vision of the art. but a lot of times i'll visualize other peoples' writing and think, wow, i'd love to draw this, but then i'll go, but then all the beautiful prose and details exclusive to the medium of writing would be lost... idk there's a post about how all mediums of art are love letters to other mediums trying to capture what makes all those other forms so special
