God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moments by Hannah Brown
God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life’s Best (and Worst) Moments by Hannah Brown
I can’t believe I actually read a book I bought the same day I bought it. If you, like me, are a fan of the Bachelor/Bachelorette series, this book has some good tea about Hannah B. and her unfortunate relationships with the men from her season. I love Hannah, so I’m glad she wrote this book, which feels super personal and like a friend is telling you their life story. I empathized with her…

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
I’ve known about this book for years, and it was a very popular sell to HS students at my B&N during my time there, but it wasn’t until I saw the trailer for the HBO adaptation that I decided to dive into it finally. I had no expectations, and I actually didn’t even really know what it was about. I kind of knew it was post-apocalyptic, but that’s it. If you plan to listen to the audiobook like…

In The Heights had me soaring!
In The Heights had me soaring!
I just got back from seeing the film version of In The Heights and I could not wait to tell you guys how much I loved it. For the TL;DR crowd: It was surprising and moving. There were changes made from the stage musical that added so much to the story and to the characters. As someone who came from Mexico and is still chasing her own sueñito, it was so touching at times that I cried several…

You guys! I’m a fall/winter girl, but something about the spring and the beginning of summer still gets me so excited to be out and about. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of the number one things I do is go to concerts. Like, to a lot of them. Lol I’ve already attended a few this year but it’s now time for OUTDOOR shows and that makes my heart so happy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you do anything fun in the summer that you look forward to every year? I want to hear about it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2JsKfQy

Thank you, ‪@BerkleyRomance‬, for this copy of Bringing Down the Duke by ‪@evie_dunmore‬! This sounds fabulous! 〰️〰️〰️ Out 9/3/19 - SYNOPSIS: England, 1879. Annabelle Archer, the brilliant but destitute daughter of a country vicar, has earned herself a place among the first cohort of female students at the renowned University of Oxford. In return for her scholarship, she must support the rising women’s suffrage movement. Her charge: recruit men of influence to champion their cause. Her target: Sebastian Devereux, the cold and calculating Duke of Montgomery who steers Britain’s politics at the Queen’s command. Her challenge: not to give in to the powerful attraction she can’t deny for the man who opposes everything she stands for. . Sebastian is appalled to find a suffragist squad has infiltrated his ducal home, but the real threat is his impossible feelings for green-eyed beauty Annabelle. He is looking for a wife of equal standing to secure the legacy he has worked so hard to rebuild, not an outspoken commoner who could never be his duchess. But he wouldn’t be the greatest strategist of the Kingdom if he couldn’t claim this alluring bluestocking without the promise of a ring…or could he? . Locked in a battle with rising passion and a will matching her own, Annabelle will learn just what it takes to topple a duke… 〰️〰️〰️ posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2DFT99R

After the death of her sister, seventeen-year-old Violet Saunders finds herself dragged to Four Paths, New York. Violet may be a newcomer, but she soon learns her mother isn’t: They belong to one of the revered founding families of the town, where stone bells hang above every doorway and danger lurks in the depths of the woods. . Justin Hawthorne’s bloodline has protected Four Paths for generations from the Gray—a lifeless dimension that imprisons a brutal monster. Thank you, @BerkleyPub, for this early copy of @kristan.higgins' She's one of my favorite authors so I can't wait to read this!⁣ •⁣ SYNOPSIS: Emma London never thought she had anything in common with her grandmother Genevieve London. The regal old woman came from wealthy and bluest-blood New England stock, but that didn’t protect her from life’s cruelest blows: the disappearance of Genevieve’s young son, followed by the premature death of her husband. But Genevieve rose from those ashes of grief and built a fashion empire that was respected the world over, even when it meant neglecting her other son.⁣ ⁣ When Emma’s own mother died, her father abandoned her on his mother’s doorstep. Genevieve took Emma in and reluctantly raised her–until Emma got pregnant her senior year of high school. Genevieve kicked her out with nothing but the clothes on her back…but Emma took with her the most important London possession: the strength not just to survive but to thrive. And indeed, Emma has built a wonderful life for herself and her teenage daughter, Riley. ⁣ ⁣ So what is Emma to do when Genevieve does the one thing Emma never expected of her and, after not speaking to her for nearly two decades, calls and asks for help?⁣ ⁣ Out Aug. 6, 2019⁣ •⁣ posted on Instagram - https://ift.tt/2CqkMmt

I love a meet-cute story and can’t wait read this! • So this morning I worked out and immediately after got an iced coffee from my favorite local coffee shop, @sycamoregroundscoffeeshop! I plan to start some spring cleaning today and will be doing that through most of Spring Break too. But I do have two concerts to go to this week, so it won’t be all work. Some play is important! • SYNOPSIS: Kailyn Flowers was always calm, rational, and controlled - until she ended up sprawled all over Daxton Hughes, the former actor she totally crushed on as a teenager. Then she did the unthinkable: she became a mortifying fangirl in five seconds flat, which may or may not have included professing her undying love. And oddly, he didn't run away. In fact, their meet cute led to a friendship she never saw coming. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming, either... . Now Dax needs her help. As guardian to his thirteen-year-old sister, he's in way over his head. And though Kailyn hasn't forgiven Dax, she isn't heartless enough to make him fend for himself, either. Soon their friendly meetings turn into flirty dinner dates and Kailyn can feel their chemistry is as explosive as ever. But how can she possibly let down her guard again to a guy who has heartbreak written all over him? • posted on Instagram - https://ift.tt/2TqNPRA
