I am doing Art Fight for a 4th year in a row! Not much has changed on my OC front over the past year, but Art Fight is the primo time that I feel drawing inspiration so I am looking forward to drawing for other people! I never know what to write in the "I attack" portion so have a screenshot of a selection of my attack page. By and large I don't really pay attention to teams - if I want to draw a character I'm going to do it!

Drinking from one of my favorite mugs I've painted in honor of beating Chapter 4 of Deltarune last night. To be clear, my art blog is currently safe from spoilers. I have some art ideas brewing but I'm not rushing to post anything until there's been more time for other people to play the game. When I eventually do, I will tag everything appropriately. 💗

From ShortOneGaming's most recent Your Turn To Die stream. Something about the "Your button didn't work, thanks" right after witnessing some horror really tickled my funny bone. It's been awhil since I've done any YTTD fanart but I've been enjoying watching through it again! Super excited about what's to come in Chapter 3.

The 90s Super Mario Adventure comics iteration of Princess Peach remains one of my favorites. There's a certain je ne sais quoi that never quite happened in any of the other Mario properties, imo.

Speaking of the comic. My friend very kindly got me the 2016 reprint for my birthday earlier this month. ❤️ I decided to brush off the art dust by drawing a scene from the comic.

(And, for posterity, here a different panel redraw I did a few years ago. I still think it's neat.)

I drew this last year but held off because of spoilers! But with Scarlet Hollow getting the latest update (and a new community art event) it is time to share!

If you haven't ever played, Scarlet Hollow is a visual novel by the same people who did Slay the Princess and it's very good. This art is also spoilers so stop looking now! Pretend it's a metaphor!

Watched Arcane. Doing some hand studies. One thing I've been trying to work on is adding character to my drawings to not rely so heavily on hair and clothing to distinguish between people.

My yearly art in review. You can see where I become tired immediately after artfight in July.

I've been doing more art and crafts outside of the computer lately, which I don't really share on my blog. I work remotely and spend most of my day in Illustrator so when the day is done I'd rather do something other than do even more digital work. I'm hoping to maybe translate some of the Slay the Princess art energy into block printing and if I do I may share the results but also, sometimes it's good to practice making art that's just for you. <3
