Teton National Park String Lake is very near Jenny Lake and is very shallow and clear. Plenty of parking near by unlik the other lakes in the park.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming The virus has basically stoped my travels for the last year or so. But now starting to get out a bit. I recently drove to Jackson Hole and was able to get several good photos including one of my favorite subjects. I’ve taken hundreds of shots of the barn and each of them are different depending on time of year, weather, time of day etc.

Boise River Snow

Snowed all night so my walk along the Boise River this morning was a lot of fun.

Oxbow Reservoir

The reservoir was created by the Oxbow Dam that is a hydroelectric run-of-the-river rockfill dam on the Snake River on the Idaho-Oregon border, in Hells Canyon (river mile 273). Completed 60 years ago in 1961,[1] it is part of the Hells Canyon Project that also includes Hells Canyon Dam and Brownlee Dam, built and operated by Idaho Power Company.

Canola Last week we were driving east of Picabo, Idaho and came across the bright yellow field of Canola.

Early Red Depending on your location and the time of year the rising sun can create some real drama.

Good Morning Each morning on Lake Powell brought new light depending on clouds and the location of our camp sites.

Lake Powell Sheep We were cruising the canyons on jet skis when we came upon this small group of wild sheep coming for water.  They were a bit suspicious but not afraid.

Reflection Canyon Early mornings on Lake Powell are so tranquil.  There has been no watercraft traffic or winds to stir up the water.

West Canyon I recently spend a week touring Lake Powell on a house boat, power boat, and wave runners.  We spent the night is several canyons and this sunrise was in West Canyon.

Top Deck A fast moving thunderstorm passed over the Danube while leaving Budapest on a recent Viking cruise .  I went to the top deck after.

Top of the Mountain We recently spent a few days in Park City, Utah.  Took the chair lift up.  Looks a lot different in the summer with no snow.

Notre Dame We visited Paris a couple of years ago and what a beautiful church.  So sad.
