The saddest part of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc in the movie theater wasn’t the KFC break up scene. It was the ending montage of photos because it forces you to realize Shoko is the only person in the movie that’s still alive. Everyone is the movie is dead—except for Shoko.

Do you think it’s worth it to see the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc movie in the theater tomorrow?

I’m conflicted if I want to spend that much money to see something I’ve already seen—let alone the fact that the dub showing it at 9:30 PM.

it's interesting how the storyline of the show doesn't really match up with the black parade's storyline. i think it's a commentary about how authoritarianism distorts and kills art. all the production in the world to go with the band's performance of their art but none of it emphasizes the story. instead it all promotes nationalism. much to think about.

Inuyasha and Kagome in episode 128

I keep seeing comments (probably from children or new watchers) that say things like "Kagome should have been with Koga," or, “Kagome is a better person than Kikyo” or, "Inuyasha was wrong for going back to Kikyo so many times!" 

I fear if you are saying these things you have missed the entire plot. 

Inuyasha and Kagome are soulmates. Literally. Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo, they are one in the same. They are of the same soul. Kagome cannot be a better person than Kikyo when fundamentally at their core they are the “same”person. 

When Inuyasha first wakes up he can smell that Kagome smells like Kikyo but isn't quite right. When Kikyo is resurrected she isn't *really* Kikyo because Kagome has THE soul. 

The betrayal with Onigumo/Naraku is still a fresh wound in Inuyasha's (who is essentially a child) mind–he never got closure. That is why he struggled in the beginning with “choosing” who to be with. He would always “love” Kikyo but he loved Kagome as well (obviously) because again, soulmates. 

On that note, Kagome was never meant to be with Koga! He was just a secondary love interest for the sake of the plot. I would compare Kagome and Koga shippers to Bella and Jacob because it's the same concept. 

The fact that I am even addressing this is hilarious because I made these same points 15 years ago when Inuyasha was still popular–this is why I am assuming the people making these comments are children.

Having watched a considerable amount of anime in my life, I can confidently say that nothing has captivated me as much as The Apothecary Diaries since my days of watching Inuyasha (I still do a yearly rewatch). The storytelling is exceptional and the animation is stunning. I’m absolutely thrilled that season three has been confirmed; I can't wait to see where the story will lead as I am currently reading the light novels!

There was so much more to the season finale than this scene—the whole thing was incredibly moving—but I still can't get over this moment.

I'm soooo ready for season three. I am reading the light novels in the mean time, but I'm really going to miss TAP Fridays.

While there were *plenty* of missed opportunities for them to kiss in season two, this one—with the line “do you have poison in you, too?”—had me melting and kicking my feet. Looking forward to season three… however long a wait it may be. *cries internally*

I have returned to Tumblr after being gone for almost 8 years! I had to make this new account, so I am hoping to find my people soon. I had gained a small following (not like famous or anything) on TikTok but in light of it (probably) going away for good next year I wanted to maintain an outlet for myself.
