I didn't realise it would be this easy to convince the Council that Saren betrayed us. One file of Sarens voice? Don't tell the council, but that could be so easily recreated using a VI.

On the other hand, Fuck Saren.

On a third hand, becoming the first Human Spectre is an incredible honour. An honour that I intend to use to show how humanity is ready for the responisibilty of the power we may hold in the future within the Council.

Turns out our lead on Saren was this Quarian, Tali. She has all the evidence on Saren that we need to take him down. With the meeting the council set, I thought I'd show Tali around the Presidium, it sounds like she's been living rough in the Wards, and she would certainly not have had the chance to witness the sights of the Presiduam herself.

Off for a quick meal and then back to the Tower!

Just left Barla Von's office with a viable lead and got distracted again by this beautiful statue of a Krogan.

Art really is a doorway into our past, to learn about the Krogans, and the how they were able to help the council repel the Rachni threat while humans were still dreaming about flight, it's just breathtaking.

I was on my way to Barla Von (as apparently he works for the Shadow Broker, who may be able to help us with the hunt for Saren), and I turn to see what Ahsley is up to and apparently they decided a conversation with this group of aliens is a better way to spend her time on the Citadel

Came down from the Tower and found this beautiful replica of the Mass Effect Relays.

The Protheans were certainly a magnificent group. To have such a prolific scientific side, in creating the Mass Effect Relays and the Citadel, and yet also this ability to create art for arts sake, really quite astounding.

We held our meeting with the Council, Ambassador Udina tried his best to convince them to sanction Saren, but to no avail.

Though it might have been partially due to me being distracted by this beautiful Garden directly below the Couniclors. Would love to spend some time in there smelling the flowers.

Check out these Cheeky Chappies. Found this friend in the Elcor/Volus Embassy. There are apparantly so many of these guys scuttling around the Citadel making sure everything works. These 'Keepers' of the Citadel were apparantly here before the Asari even arrived on the Citadel!

Though they don't like to talk to the other species though, perhaps they're all super shy? So we're all to keep our distance.

Already got distracted on my way to the Tower, met the ambassadors for the Elcor and Volus, Calyn and Din Korlack. Absolutely fascinating to chat with them about their history and cultures. Though it has shown me that perhaps the galactic government has some issues, would be happy to see more representation for all species in and around the Council.

I'd heard about the Citidel from the vids, but never expected to be standing in the Presidiem! It's so much grander than I could have ever expected.

Just the amount of systems to circulate the water to maintain the foliage must be immense!

Might even try and sneak in a quick swim in one of the lakes if no one is looking. But first I have to head to the Tower and deal with this Saren nonsense.

I've practically lived my entire life on space ships, from top of the line frigates to some of the oldest clunkers that you'd think have been decommissioned decades ago. Yet never have I experienced anything like the engine of the Normandy.

It's a marvel of technology, of what we can accomplish working together. It'll be a shame when I get assigned to new duty elsewhere, I've already gotten used to the hum of the engines.
