LIL TIDBITS BOUT HER IN POINT FORM CAUSE I <3 POINT FORM

Named after underscore’s Geez louise (with henhouse!)

Big inspiration from Baby Driver and also Doechii [voice claim?]

She's a painted turtle, born c. 2005, twin sister to Mikey!! I don't have her in colour yet, but her spots are a similar shade of yellow to his.

Dropped in the Hidden City during Lou’s escape from Draxum’s lab, eventually picked up by a yokai who raised her

to answer ur questions before the lore dump;

no, she doesn't drink lacroix - i don't think they have that in the Hidden City, though i don't think she'd like sparkling water either . why does the water hurt. why did they make Ow Water

i think she'd paint her nails like once in a blue moon, but it isn't until she's reunited with her brothers that she has more fun with it [she'd definitely give into mikey's pleas to paint her nails & shell]

her daily fit tends to be a racer-suit-style jacket and pants [and occasionally helmet], like a dusty pink. the fit is custom made for her so it accommodates her shell and tail. other than that, she'd be into bomber jackets and big pants lol

LONG ASS YAP SESSION [+ SOME ART] UNDER THE CUT

when she and her parent fell on hard times [~9 yrs old], she started to look for whatever job she could find, and unfortunately found herself working for criminal groups often. she'd do whatever odd jobs they'd ask of her, and eventually she found a lot of joy in driving. by the time she can properly see above the dashboard [~11 yrs], she's developed an extreme talent for driving, and can utilize just about any kind of vehicle, both yokai and human made.

she gains a name for herself, infamously known as Speed Demon, or simply Demon, the getaway driver/joyrider that Hidden City police can never get a hold of.

eventually, her parent finds out about her driving and makes her an ultimatum; either find a good, honest way to make money, or she's out of the house. the thing is, Louise is in too deep to safely quit driving, so she leaves her parent a little over half her money, and sets out to drive full time.

a couple yrs later, Louise is sent on a real high paying job to steal from the nexus hotel - but what should've been a simple drop-off job was a set up, as the location she was told to drop the stolen goods was completely empty, and she was apprehended by Big Mama and her staff. Upon discovering that The Demon was in fact, a child, Big Mama made her a deal - Louise works for her from now on, and she’ll give her sanctuary. She’ll be fed, clothed, and housed, as long as she does whatever Mama tells her. Louise agrees, and its not long before she begins occasionally competing in the Battle Nexus’ Demolition Derby, winning an even bigger name for herself.

After the Krang invasion attempt [15 yrs old], Big Mama begins expanding her criminal enterprise to the surface, becoming a name in the human criminal world. She sends Louise out on human jobs, giving her guarantee that she’s the best of the best. About a year into her surface jobs, she's on the Mad Dogs' radar.

yeah she's not too subtle on fighting fire with fire, or mystics with mystics she hasn't developed her ninpō yet, but it'd be something akin to sonic speed [i don't mean the hedgehog]

lore tidbits!!

☆ along with the oozesquitos, draxum was experimenting with other bugs, and after a meeting with big mama, decided to use some of her dna [a stray hair] to alter a spider into a mutagen carrier bug

☆ this bug was then promptly lost by huginn and muninn. luckily for them, the lab blowing up again and all the oozesquitos being unleashed on new york seemed to overshadow this issue pretty quickly

☆ unfortunately like many spider-men, no parents but he does live with his older sister, Texas 'Tex' Parker [bout 2 yrs older than him]

☆ round ep 1, when the mad dogs released all the oozesquitos out onto new york, tex was bitten by one, and she went missing along with several other people [ex. a magician, a news anchor, a bellhop, etc]

[they do find each other eventually dw]

☆ friends with april pre-mutation! in the same grade, if not for her, he probably wouldve stayed with the purple dragons

☆ post-mutation, he isolated himself for a bit until she almost knocked down the door to his apartment complex demanding to know if he was still alive

☆ he meets the turtles on his own one night on patrol, both of them staking out the foot clan. by the time they see him, theyve already met big mama, and are immediately wary of the resemblance

☆ donnie's the first one to befriend him, both of them being big tech/gadget nerds, and their shared hatred of the purple dragons doesnt hurt. next to befriend him is mikey, then raph, and lastly leo

OKAY SO !!! to be fully honest luis doesn't learn about lark's whole deal during the nightmare setting at work, but he definitely learns after the whole thing while he's in recovery, i'll explain that another time

in my mind, the way they find out [and this is where the timeline explodes because idk when this takes place, like, ik i said this is pre-s2 but i have no clue when this would happen] is like that one hospital episode of steven universe, Nightmare Hospital;

theres few places this could take place - either that window of time where the dads were saved and the teens were too busy with the plot to move forward w them, or since lark n sparrow were saved first, the oaks would've had to go in this scene alone while the teens are saving the other dads. now that i think about it, it might be the last one

below the cut is kind of a fic, mostly a play by play of how the nightmare hospital situation plays out in my head

[also . theres a little bit of dialogue, i am not good at writing dialogue]

THE THINGY I MENTIONED EARLIER !!! A VERY POOR TELLING !!!!

☆ it starts out essentially, luis is in for an extended overnight shift, due to stranger and stranger patients coming in. unbeknownst to him, these patients have been doodlerized.

lark's left at the sanchez household to babysit santiago [much to the latter's dismay, he doesnt need to be babysat, hes 14 for crying out loud]. he spends the night in an effort to bond with the kid, yet it ends in both of them resolving to just do their own separate things for the night.

that night, d.a.d.d.i.e.s gets wind of an incursion point located at the hospital luis works at. mae hailes alerts each of the members. lark shouts to santi that he's got something to deal with, and that he'll be back soon, stay inside and do not open the doors to anyone. santi, still wary of lark, shouts back in agreement, but manages to sneak into the backseat of lark's car before he pulls out of the driveway.

in the car, lark tries calling luis several times to no avail, opting to call mae instead. she tells lark that the incursion point seems to be on the brink of bursting, but she cant tell what the event is, and that shes sending anyone available [which seems to be just him and sparrow] to the hospital. as soon as lark hangs up, santiago pops up in the back seat [almost scaring lark into oncoming traffic], demanding to know what was happening, who lark was talking to, and what was happening to his dad.

lark's on the brink of losing it, but they're too close to the hospital to turn around so he makes santi promise to not leave the car under any circumstance, that he's got the situation under control and he'll come back with his dad. santi promises.

when they make it to the hospital, the place seems to be running fine, if not more flooded with patients than usual. lark heads inside and finds luis in one of his patient's rooms. luis is incredibly stressed as he can’t figure out what’s wrong with the latest patients, pacing back and forth the room as his current patient is asleep on the bed. when he sees lark he tries to talk him into going home, that he'll be a few more hours then he'll take a break, but he needs to find out what’s going on first.

lark repeatedly tries to convince him to get out of the hospital asap, letting it slip that santi's waiting outside in the car, and luis just about snaps, refusing to leave when there are patients who are suffering but no one can find out from what and the only thing they do know is that its affecting more and more people, even so far as affecting the mayor and her immediate team, causing mass hysteria and panic, and why in hell would lark bring his son to the hospital of all places, its dangerous-

then all hell breaks loose. 

luis’ supposedly unconscious patient in the room attacks, sprouting doodler tentacles and grabbing luis by the face, beginning to strangle and infect him. by now, the hospital is facing an outbreak of doodlerized people. glass windows shatter, people are shoved to the ground - the carnage is reminiscent of a zombie outbreak.

lark manages to shoot the patient, ripping luis from its grasp. a tentacle is ripped from his mouth as luis retches up purple-black bile, his limbs giving out and he collapses to the ground. lark grabs him, and charges out of the now overrun hospital, dodging doodlerites left and right, taking out a few with his handgun.

meanwhile, santi’s snuck out of the car, wanting to see first hand what lark knows, what he's hiding, why he’s rushing to get his dad out of the hospital so quickly. he sneaks into the hospital, making a beeline for the receptionist's desk to find out where his father is, just as shit starts to hit the fan. santi manages to hide and evade, ducking into the first empty office he sees, closing the blinds and locking the door.

lark makes it out to the car with luis practically hoisted over his shoulder, only to find the car empty, no santiago in sight. luis is falling in and out of consciousness, only faintly aware that his son is lost, and what happened? why is lark shouting? why does his whole body hurt? and why do his eyes burn?

sparrow and mae arrive to the scene, armed to the teeth with weaponry and magic items to help clear out the hospital. lark sets luis down in the backseat of his car, urging sparrow to keep an eye on him and to check him for injuries or infection, until he gets back with santiago. lark, praying to whatever gods are out there listening, calls santi, hoping he'll pick up.

santiago, on the other hand, has been laying low, trying to figure out his route out of here, when his phone starts to ring. the only reason he has his ringer on is because his dad stresses out when he misses a call and goddamn it why is lark calling now shut up shut up!! the doodlerized crowd hears the sound, breaking the windows to the office, forcing their way into santi's hiding spot. he gets swept up in the commotion, grabbed by a doodlerite and begins to get infected as more tentacles sprout up and strangle him too. 

mae and lark are mowing down the infected, shouting [lark borderline screaming] santi's name. lark tries his cellphone again, hearing the faint familiar ringtone down the hall. he and mae race down to the office, eliminating the infected and finding santiago on the floor, shaking, trembling like a frightened animal, surrounded by tentacles and blood.

santi's turned away from them, and lark carefully approaches, putting his gun away. no matter what, he's not going to shoot this kid, he's not going to shoot luis’ son, the kid he just cooked breakfast for this morning, the kid who got along so well with normal, the kid he almost hoped was his kid.

santiago's head turns, and lark is met with unfamiliar eyes. a horrible, wretched inky purple growth attaches itself to santiago's face, growing all over his body, threatening to swallow him whole. the boy launches himself at lark, pinning him to the ground, screeching something unholy, the noise attracting other infected to the room. mae is left guarding the door as lark wrestles with the now doodlerized kid.

outside, sparrow is tending to luis as his condition worsens. any spell he tries just isnt enough to get the infection out, but he manages to clean up luis’ more superficial wounds. luis slowly wakes up, watching sparrow's magic work. he meets sparrows eyes, and it finally dawns on him that maybe theres something else at work here, maybe this isnt just proper first aid that somehow only he and sparrow know. but he doesnt have time to dwell on that as something forces itself to luis' consciousness, causing him to double over in pain. he can distantly hear sparrow's voice, muffled by the blood rushing to his head, muffled by the voice in his ear, telling him to kill, to infect, to spread, to serve.

vines shoot up and tie him down to the pavement below as sparrow takes a defensive stance. he calls mae through their comms to come back, luis is falling under and he cant make any promises if it comes down to him or sparrow.

mae reports back that she and lark are almost overwhelmed, dealing with their own situation, as lark is thrown across the room by the young boy, a strength he never had before possessing him. santi attacks him again, and lark can only defend himself, throwing whatever's on the office desk at the boy. he ends up nailing santi in the head with a mug [REALLY hoping the repercussions on that are minimal] and holds the thrashing boy up against the wall, restraining him. santi bites at the air, and small creeping black vines begin to transfer themselves from santi's skin to lark's.

lark curses himself internally, how could he let this happen, this is his fault. he has no idea how to bring back the kid currently flailing in his arms, the only way he's known how to deal with incursion victims is to physically beat it out of the person or-

shit. he cant do that. it rarely works on infected anyways. but he's got no other choice.

lark steels himself. 

time to become emotionally vulnerable, goddamn it.

“Listen, Santiago. I know I’m the last person on Earth you want to hear this from, but I'm trying really hard here so I need you to listen to what I'm saying. I can't begin to tell you how much people love you because I know you know, and I know your dad tells you each and every day.”

the snarling doesn't let up, but santiago shows signs of recognition that someone's talking to him.

“But I need you to understand that we need you. We all need you to come back. I need you to come back. I never got to know you, and I’d like to. I’d really like to. You’re Normal’s first real live friend, you're Luis’ kid. And I hope you and I could be friends too.”

his thrashing dies down to a twitch, still eyeing lark like he could burn him at any moment

“Please kid. Think about your friends, your teachers, your family. Think about your dad. If you don't come back for us, at least come back for him.”

santiago and lark's eyes meet, and for a blissful moment, there's full recognition and something else, something akin to understanding.

then santiago's eyes start glowing as he screams. his skin starts burning, and small welts are tearing up his skin and bursting, leaving behind eyes all over his body. his hair begins to flow from some non-existent breeze, as a golden ring - a halo - of eyes and feathers all but crowns the boy.

lark is thrown back as santi's suspended in the air by whatever magics seem to be holding him up.

in the hallway, the infected scream in agony, unable to witness the holy terrors of the child in front of them, collapsing onto the ground.

distantly, the same happens to the boy’s father. sparrow's vines burn off as luis’ eyes begin to glow, a violently holy aura surrounding him as his skin burns out in feathers and eyes, all too bright to look at. The surrounding doodlerites let out agonizing screams as the man’s presence begins to incapacitate them. 

after a final scream, 

the infection burns out.

And the two angels collapse.

most of this is me fleshing them out for the first time in a while, so bear with me

but to answer ur questions!!:

☆ at first, sparrow's a bit suspicious of luis - having only heard of him from lark, who framed him as a 'stranger who can do magic and took him into his house whilst unconscious'. not a great look. but the more lark's 'investigation' goes on, the more sparrow realizes that 1. lark isnt getting harmed in any way 2. lark is leaving the house more 3. he seems calmer these days so pretty quickly sparrow's a fan of luis, and is the one to break it to lark that he might have a crush. but all in all he's happy for lark

☆ i dont know if luis would fully register sparrow using healing magic in front of him at first and instead think 'no he just knows proper medicine and technique'. he’d ask sparrow where he learned proper medical skill and sparrow’d just look at him wide-eyed

☆ i believe that once sparrow learns that luis Does in fact have magic, a bit of that skepticism returns and he starts looking more into luis [not to the length that lark did,] but i think he's the one to find that luis and santi are part angel/celestial. which is very funny to me, as someone who enjoys nark as exes, cause that means that lark has to come to terms that he just went from a half demon boyfriend to a half angel. and sometimes thats just how life goes

☆ additionally, i think they figure out that luis isnt Aware that he's performing magic, or that neither of the sanchez boys know that theyre anything other than human. they have no idea how to break it to them, but this is where i have a Shred of an idea that could come into play.

☆ long story short, its kinda like a more deadly version of the steven universe episode Nightmare Hospital, where instead of a human patient, the person being treated is a ‘monster’ - in this case, theyre doodlerized patients. luis gets partially infected, and in the middle of lark rescuing him, santi gets infected too. d.a.d.d.i.e.s. manages to get them out of the hospital, now overrun with doodlerized patients and staff, and before they can fully doodlerize, their corruption takes form of them becoming humanoid-ic biblically accurate angels, with the wings, the several several eyes, and all glowy-like, managing to burn the infection out of them. they pass out before they can see themselves, and are taken into d.a.d.d.i.e.s. hq by lark, who’s now dealing with the fact that he almost got his boyfriend and his boyfriend’s kid doodlerized. eventually they turn back to normal and the truth is broken to them, but thats a whole other thing that i havent thought out yet

JOHNNY QUESTIONS <3

☆ okay as much as i love johnny, i don't know if he comes into play much with luis and santi. kind of in the way where nicholas and marco don't interact, or veronica and rebecca and cassandra don't interact with the other parents; i love them w all my heart but the dndads s2 spouses arent much aside from their relation to the kids, so idk if johnny’d talk much to these two.

☆ if they did though, i think they’d have a pretty mutually respectful relationship. john never grows out of the role of being the “responsible older sibling”, so he recognizes the level-headedness and responsibility that luis maintains, that of which none of the kiddads [minus maybe terry] carry. 

☆ actually, scratch that. thats their relationship if they ever talked long enough to get past the initial rancid vibes they get from each other [angel and demon vibes read terribly to each other]

☆ same reason in which santi and taylor are iffy around each other. and pulling it further, same reason why santiago is initially thrown off by lark and normal, having a bit of the doodler in the oak bloodline. he comes to love the two, obv, but he’s suspicious of lark for a lot longer than luis. i think either santi is more sensitive to vibes and fiendish/otherworldly aura than luis is, or luis simply takes this intuition and puts it aside, choosing to verify for himself first rather than acting on gut feeling.

☆ all that being said, i don't know if santi would get along with taylor in the end. i mean - and i say this with all the love in my heart - its taylor. pretty quickly he chalks up normal’s weird vibes to his stank but taylor’s also just Like That, yknow?

YEOWL AND CASEY'S ORIGINS !! WITH LIL BITS SCRIBBLED AROUND !!!

essentially, leo and raph find two kids, hidden away in the middle of the apocalypse, and take them in. they both latched onto leo and raph, having been the first faces theyve seen.

the two of em clung to each other growing up. they share a birthday, the day they were found. they get their names separately; yeowl was named first. no matter how much anyone tried to get him to stay silent, yeowl just wouldnt shut up, earning him a nickname that just Stuck. that left his brother referred to as 'the kid'. this was unacceptable to Cassandra, immediately prompting her to call dibs and name the child after herself. keeping the brothers as a package deal, she officially names them Casey Jones Jr. and Yeowl Jones

just as how leo is essentially casey's dad/mentor/sensei, yeowl looks up to raph in a similar manner. theyre both raised collectively by the resistance though, with donnie and mikey being their uncles, april their aunt, and cass as their mom.

thats most of what i have of him so far :] with rottmnt taking over my brain i wanna flesh him out a little more but i thought why not make a post for him <3
