Quadroluna’s capstone film, Echoes of Extinction (2025), is now released! This 20 minute animation film about art, community and anti-tyranny was made by four passionate EMC students.

In a secluded cottage in a forest, a painter named WILLIAM, a humanoid White Rhino, and his daughter, FORSYTHIA who is a painting brought to life through the magic of color, lives far and safe from a town called Hiyas, that is drained of color and art.

FORSYTHIA, having raised in blissful ignorance, soon learns of other artists living in the town and wishes to meet them. Against her father’s warnings, she journeyed to the town, only to find that these artists’ rights to express their arts were taken away, and they were forced to work labor for their highest authority, MAYOR FUERTE. Thus, causing the dullness of the town.

FORSYTHIA makes it her mission to bring color to a once colorful and artful town.

Camilo Animation Test

RIP to the animation I never got to finish. Started in Oct 2024, lost the file in April. It got deleted when the PC was reformatted.

I was fascinated with the Camilo-shifting-to-Bruno pencil test by Valentin Amador and the Pink Diamond-shifting-to-Rose-Quartz animation by oomelet, so I decided to try it. While at it, I tried to understand how to use a time chart and how cloth flaps.

The color was supposed to transition more smoothly from Camilo to Dolores, but the file got deleted before I could do it :’)
