Nirvana live at the Annex Theatre; April 7th, 1989
Useless fun fact time - This show took place over two months before the release of Bleach. The only music they had out at the time was their single "Love Buzz" and their appearance on the Sub Pop 200 album with the song "Spank Thru"

Nirvana and Soundgarden in a May 1994 issue of Guitar School magazine.
Why did it take 5 months after for these concerts took place to get the reviews published? Who knows! At least it got published.
The Nirvana show at the Seattle Center Arena, their second to last American show, was released on the In Utero 30th anniversary boxset. The photo is weirdly from their show at Roseland Ballroom that took place about 2 months earlier.
The Soundgarden show I believe remains unsurfaced, or at least the Louder Than Live guide doesn't mention anything being surfaced. I don't know if the photo is from the show, but I would guess probably not.

Just how smashing are these pumpkins? Like a little swagged out or like, entirely dressed to the nines levels of smashing?

Bill Nye the Science Guy in Monk magazine. I was just flipping through and saw this and thought it was funny and cool to see a young Bill Nye.
And Peter Bagge (I know nothing about him)

Hole and Courtney Love in an April 1995 issue of Circus magazine. Gotta love the extremely flattering photo they chose for the pinup page. Anyways, this was published one year after Kurt's death, so he's still brought up a fair amount. I'm still trying to figure out when the live photos of Hole were taken, but for now, enjoyy.

Nirvana in the 14th issue of "Monk" magazine!
This thing sells for way, way, waaayyy too much online, so I thought it would be better to post it for free. Anyways, some cool interviews from each member of the band about their perspectives and stuff at the end of 1992. Plus an ad for Incesticide which I think is cool.

RIP Kurt Cobain
Little compilation of photos throughout 1987 to 1994. Celebrating the life he had, and should've had for much, much longer.
Depression is a bitch, talk to people. You are loved and cared about and deserve to live <3

On April 5th, 1994 Kurt Cobain died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. He wasn't found until April 8th. For the next few days, I'm just going to post some articles and photos of Kurt and Nirvana.
This article comes from Q magazine, published in June 1994. This isn't one of my favorites, but it is a very in-depth piece about what was going on during the time.
