I think this solution worked out, though I need to potentially redo the attachment points - I missed a step and there's a gap as a result. I made this #waspnest #pendant from a pattern by #inmemoryoferidhan, but there are some beads in here that are just disappearing into the #black, so I think I'm going to redo it with something in #silver or a brighter #blue. This isn't #finished as shown; some details need to be added to the top and bottom. This was a #christmasgift commission #necklace I did for someone to give to their wife. The #pendant was originally part of a #bookmark, and the focal piece is a piece of the #parliament building roof. I strung it on an #antique #copper #chain and added some #adventurine #beads as accents. The extender chain was part of the bookmark, too. It wasn't a technically challenging piece to pur together, but it was fun to realize and plan with the asker! After finishing this one, I wasn't sure how I felt about the #teal and #gold combination, but I think I just felt burnt out after staring at it for so long when I worked it up on Wednesday, because when I finished weaving in the threads yesterday (the only part I had left to do), I liked it again. The #pattern is from #ellad2design, and it's the #darma #pendant pattern. I am so in love with these #lunasoft #cabochons, it's ridiculous. I have three more at home waiting to be stitched into something, and I'm sure I'll be going back for more soon. I spent most of New Year's Day working on this - the #rivette #pendant from the #december/#january edition of #beadwork #magazine. I've been lusting after this pendant for awhile, but didn't have the small rondelles to do the accents. After a trip to @mcbeadcreations and some advice, I substituted in some #obeads instead. I don't know why I'm often hesitant to ask questions... it's the only way to learn, and I would've finished this ages ago if I'd asked sooner! I made these as part of my productive weekend without family around.
