With his calm and composed personality, he would be overwhelmed by how sociable and noisy your family is—the loud music from the karaoke, laughter around the room, and the kids playing.

There was one time when you taught him manners like saying "po" and "opo" and doing "mano." He adapted quickly and used them whenever he interacted with your family members.

He also learned some Tagalog words without you knowing and tried to say them out of nowhere. He called you "mahal" or "tangi" after learning their meanings. Of course, his pronunciation was a bit sloppy, but he managed to make it cute and romantic for you.

He may not be very sociable, but he tried to interact with all of your family members, especially your father and mother.

Whenever there's an event happening, he will arrive early, which allows him to help your titas with the preparations.

With his handsome looks, personality, and intelligence, he would become the family's favorite. They would always look for him and invite him to events as if he were their own child.

Akaashi is very aware of the toxic aspects of Filipino households and would comfort you whenever some titas or titos make snarky comments about you or him. He knows those comments aren't true and prefers not to focus on them.

Both of your cultures are very different from each other, yet he understands and learns about them so he can feel like he belongs to this culture as well. This makes him more likable to your strict Filipino family.

a/n: It's been a long time since I wrote something, so this might be a bit rusty. This is a very random thought of mine, making headcanons about Akaashi, but the inspiration came from the OPM music I've been listening to. Thank you for reading, and I hope you all like it. <33

*⁠.⁠✧ Kaedehara Kazuha, a young man whose soul is gentle and carefree. As time passes by he met a certain someone, not believing in love at first sight but it somehow affects the way he acts, talks, and move. He wasn't like this until you came, he became more... shy?

He looked up at the blue sky and said, "What a wonderful day to travel today". The weather is perfect for exploring cities and crossing the Inazuma. Kazuha was welcoming people as he walked about when he unexpectedly ran into a stranger. He doesn't believe in 'love at first sight,' yet something just hit him after looking into your eyes. As he carefully reaches for your belongings, his heart is racing a bit quicker than usual, his hands are a touch wobbly, and he is silent. You saw his strange behavior and then tapped his shoulder.

"Umm... are you fine, sir..?" after you said that, reality hits him. "Oh I'm sorry, please don't call me sir that's too formal. Call me Kazuha." He said reaching for your hand to shake hands. "Y/N, call me Y/N" you stated as you reach for his hand. As you're about to leave, you waved him goodbye. After that interaction, he can't feel anything but a butterfly in his stomach. He felt a little silly since he just met you, he shook of that feeling then goes on his journey.

Days went by, and he kept running into you. When he was with you, he felt shy and a little different? He thinks about you almost every day and is eager to talk to you, hear you laugh, and see you. He even wrote a poem to show his love for you, but he felt it was too soon for him to consider falling in love. He wants more time to reflect, more time to tell you how much he loves you, and more time to be sure that you will feel the same way.

"Just wait a minute while I make you mine," he whispered to himself as he saw you enjoying the scenery to the place where he brought you.

Shirabu was considering how he would celebrate their anniversary as it drew closer. For him, his lover deserves the best.

He will do everything he can to make their anniversary unforgettable, and he will think of a gift that reminds you the most of you.

He will make every effort to create the most romantic dining area possible. It's not a problem for him to celebrate in a restaurant, but he wants to make it extra special, so he chose to make everything perfect and celebrate with just the two of you.

How about the food? Oh don't worry about the food, he got it covered! He is quite familiar with you and is aware of everything, including your favorite food and dessert. He struggled, but he eventually succeeded after watching several YouTube cooking tutorials.

He softly raised his hand to rest on yours as you were having dinner, saying, "I love you very much," with a soft smile staring at you. After meeting you, he felt like the luckiest and happiest man alive. Every time he is around you, he feels at ease and open. He is quite appreciative of everything and would like to celebrate more anniversaries with you.

“It’s been raining in Manila, aren’t you cold?”

*⁠.⁠✧ College AU, based on Lola Amour's song "Raining in Manila." There's this one person who encountered Leo Tsukinaga, the famous musician who studied Visual and Performing Arts, asking if he could borrow an umbrella because of the heavy rain. The more they experience as the rain falls, the deeper their feelings become.

Looking out the window, you stated, "Ah shit, it's raining again." It's been raining for weeks in Manila, and there was one time when it became so cold that you got a fever. You're about to leave the building and get dismissed when all of a sudden you run across the renowned lyricist Leo Tsukinaga. He is well-known for his music and the band Knights. Since he is enrolled in the Visual and Performing Arts course, whose building is on the other side of the campus, you are wondering how he managed to get into your course building.  Before he noticed you, he appeared concerned. "Hello, Miss! If I bothered you, I'm sorry. Do you have any extra umbrellas?" Although you are absolutely baffled by the circumstance and how he got here, you just gave him your lone umbrella because it is close to your apartment and the rain is growing heavier. You reached for your umbrella and he said, "I only have this one umbrella, you may borrow it since my apartment is only a short walk away." Given that it's your only umbrella and that it's still raining, he gave you a confused look. “You sure? It's been raining in Manila, aren't you cold?” you gave him a nod as he swiftly took off.

As the day wore on, he was prepared to return your umbrella because he had learned his lesson to always carry one, but then he remembered he had forgotten to ask for your name. Even though he simply asked for your umbrella and forgot to ask for your name, he still remembered your face, which made him feel a little foolish. At first, he didn't notice you and assumed you were just wandering around the campus. He then came back, assuming you were there, but after hearing from one of your classmates that you had a cold, he felt bad because he had thought you might have avoided becoming sick by not taking your umbrella. Leo agreed to treat you once you were feeling better.

You've been feeling better for about a week, but since it's pouring season, the rain hasn't stopped. Time has gone, and soon it will be time for dismissal. Leo waved at you as you were making your way to the building's exit. After the incident where he took your umbrella, it has been a while since you have seen him. “Hi, miss… what’s your name?” He asked while rubbing the back of his neck out of slight embarrassment. You replied, "Y/N, call me Y/N," and then grinned at him. As you noticed his ears becoming red from humiliation, he said, reaching for his backpack and handing you the borrowed umbrella, "I heard a news from your classmate that you caught a cold, I felt guilty about it." "May I treat you outside as a thank you and sorry gift?” he added.
