#IT’S OKAY TO NOT HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT!
Tumblr media
To the person who’s afraid right now,
“on any day you can massively change the direction of your life” -Jim Rohn.
Have you ever felt compelled to have your entire life planned out right now? Even the thought of it struck me and made me urge to have one. That made me feel depressed for a couple of years, still thinking about what my future would hold. When we’re young, we’re frequently encouraged to think about jobs which are practical in our society such as police officer, firefighter, doctor, lawyer, a teacher or even the next president, a typical dream of a child. Then, in High school we are under pressure to choose a career because that would be required for the major in college. As a child who didn’t have any dreams, it made it more difficult to come up with such dreams. I was like that even when I was still a kiddo,I would rather choose such spontaneous plans and never think of possible negative results. It all change when the society and the reality hits me, they urge me to make plans and of course to figure it out. People constantly ask us, “Did you figure it out? What’s your plan? Did you come up with something interesting? The pressure on all of us is huge indeed.
This pressure rises in college because, once you’ve chosen a major, everyone wants to know what you are going to do with it. It’s not new though, people will regularly check on my status and inquire about my future career goals while I majored in communication, for example. People put even more pressure when they hear your major and then conclude such hilarious ideas. This causes anxiety and tension and it may cause someone to become worn out. I’m in my fourth year right now, but still debating on what career path. There are parts of me that are very strategic, other times that want to crazily take risks, and there are days that I want to be the finest independent woman in the whole world. Yes,it’s crazy. I’m not sure what I want to do for the rest of my life, what I’ll choose or don’t even know what will be the next step after choosing the career, not sure and still not ready.
Tumblr media
I don’t know your story nor I am aware of how your life is going on, but one thing is for sure. You’re afraid right now, what will happen , how will your life turn into, and confused about things. It’s alright, everything is normal, as a person who has been through the same feeling as you. I’d advise you to go with the flow, and do your best on everything you are into.
It’s okay to not know what you want to do, or to have a plan for a lifelong career. There’s still time, it’s time to explore and be more risky on other options and do as we please. We no longer have to take the usual path after graduating college right after finding a job and immediately take it. There is a method for us to change if we want to. We have a choice to choose and decide on our own well being.
It’s perfectly acceptable and just what I said earlier that it’s normal to have no idea what you want to do with the rest of your life. To those people who choose to stay YOLO may have negative stigma on them but at least they are enjoying their own company and their pleasure. There’s nothing wrong with going with the flow and allowing yourself to grow, develop such skills, evolve through time and change for the better result. What is life if you end up missing the best years ,thrilling, crazy memories to look back at once. Live without regrets in life.

Higaonon Tribe of Bukidnon
Tumblr media
The Higaonon is one of the least known ethnolinguistic groups that inhabit North-Central Mindanao. They occupy the mountainous regions of Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon plateau, the mountain borders of the provinces of Agusan and Lanao in the east and west, respectively.
The name Higaonon is derived from the words higa meaning living, the word goan, which means mountains and the word onon meaning people. Together these words form the description of the tribe as "people of the living mountains." The tribe consist of several clans, which now all live in peace with each other.
The culture of Higanaon tribe can best be described as a culture of Peace, for solving their internal conflicts or settle feuds among other ethnic groups, the tribes practises an ancient ritual: the tampudas hu Balagun, or the treaty of the green vine branch, a symbolic ans traditonal cutting of the vine.
Tumblr media
As you can see in the picture, It is me and my friends depicting the culture and tradition of the Higaonon Tribe that can be located in Bukidnon in the Southern part of the Philippines. Despite being part of Cagayan De Oro City, our barangay is located between Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro which influence's us their culture and being part of their traditional feast. We occasionally join their feast's and encourage people to be educated and have knowledge on this tribe.

Blink of an Eye
Coronavirus is all over the news right now, and if you're worried about all the covid 19 upgrades, don't read any further.
The coronavirus caught us off guard and destroyed us in a matter of months. Nobody expected it to murder so many people, compel countries to go into lockdown, close schools and public areas, and put our lives on hold. It hit us, and now it's all over the place. It bled the entire earth, and it spread like wildfire.
Tumblr media
Everyone has written about it (and no, this isn't about last-minute shopping and toilet paper shortages), and I honestly don't know where I stand. I'm a student, and I realized that I would be unable to properly say goodbye to the city in which I have fallen in love.
My friends, with whom I shared so many memories, went in the blink of an eye. The tests for which I had spent months studying have been postponed, leaving us with a void and a jumble. I, like every other student, have no idea what will happen to my exams or if I will ever be able to graduate in a proper manner, these things are just out of reach now.

My Only Hope
Numerous individuals told me that I could do something else instead of staying at home while it is still pandemic, they say I can work while attending online class and so I did. I want to help my family and so I work hard and study smart. Although I have chosen a difficult career because it requires me to work outside in the field. But I'm not sure what the distinction is. If I can study it, why not do it if it's something I enjoy? And it was thrilling because on the first day of school, I noticed that there were teachers are very understanding towards students request, not just them but also the university itself.
Tumblr media
With the pandemic now everything has changed; the epidemic has brought numerous issues, including unemployment, economic hardship, and the breakdown of the health system, and I myself was so concerned as I aged.
If the outbreak continues, it will expand to neighborhoods and people who lack resources; health centers are already overburdened, and they lack the essential equipment, medicines, ventilators, and masks to care for these individuals and so I hope that this ends so that we can go back to where we are supposed be doing and that is making a living, enjoying life and its forms.

Life at COVID-19
Currently, no one dear to me has been infected and hopefully that does not change in the days following this days onwards. Those in my life who are especially at risk have been practicing social distancing and staying in their homes, as everyone should continue to do.
I have been fortunate enough to still be able to make an income. My job was great, and though I’m grateful to still be able to earn money through it, my hours have suffered. Luckily, I work for a very hardworking team, which is an essential for every work environment, and with the cancellation of on-campus classes and sports, I have been able to work more shifts there.
However, as it is with everyone, I still have been impacted by the measurements we all have had to take to avoid spreading this virus.
As a working-student, thos field has been a huge part of my everyday life for the past several years. COVID-19 took away my senior outdoor track and physical activities. Hopefully I'm set to graduate next year.
Though running is still an available form of exercise, recent injuries have prevented me from being able to run too much or too hard. The closure of weight rooms prevents me from being able to lift, which is one of my favorite activities to do. I have often used lifting as an outlet for any built-up frustration, but now I’m unable to do that even though I could certainly use it.
Tumblr media
I might not be able to go through with the physical activities due to costs. As of right now, I have no idea what will happen. I am just so grateful of whats ahead of me. I may never get the chance to achieve and surpass the goals I had for myself.
The pandemic has also prevented me from being able to travel. It has always been my dream to visit other cities around the country. I’m still grateful that I'm healthy.
Even through all the negative things that have happened, there has been a silver lining. With the cancellation of sports and a light class load, I have gotten to spend more time with my dog. I was even able to bring home a foster dog that I have been working with. Either my roommate or I will adopt her, though we have yet to talk that out. Though it may be difficult at times, it’s important to keep your head up and remember that this won’t go on forever. Make the best of it in any way that you can.
Though the COVID-19 epidemic has had an impact on various aspects of my life, I consider myself to be one of the fortunate persons who has not been adversely affected.
Currently, no one close to me has been infected, and I am hopeful that this will not change in the days ahead. Those in my life who are most vulnerable have been exercising social distancing and keeping at home, as should everyone.
I've been fortunate in that I'm still able to earn money. Through my job, and while I'm grateful to still be able to work, my hours have suffered as a result. Fortunately, I am working for a the better version of myself, which is a great place to work.

Our Individual Share
The current state of events has placed the world on hold, but it has given me the opportunity to dwell on some difficult issues. Time that many people, including myself, undoubtedly needed to heal but didn't realize it. Sometimes it takes the crumbling of one's world to create the most exquisite mosaic from the shattered fragments of devastation.
Tumblr media
As the first semester came to a conclusion and second semester approached, I began to consider how people would spend their time in studying to ace in school, if the country remained in its current form during the warm season. Aside from living in sunny Cagayan de Oro City, where people are warmed, I believe some of the most harmful practices are going outside the house knowing the striking number of infected is increasing every day. We should stay at home and stay safe. Let's do our individual share and that is to be an abiding citizen.

Be Safe Than Be Sorry
The present COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all of us. However, depending on our status as individuals and as members of society, the pandemic's impact and repercussions are perceived differently. While some people strive to adjust to working online, educating their children, and getting food through online again, others are forced to be stay at home in order to keep themselves from getting infected though they can't make a living. Our many social identities and the social groupings to which we belong define our social inclusion and, as a result, our vulnerability to epidemics.
Tumblr media
COVID-19 is a virus that is killing a lot of people. COVID-19 had been detected in more than 7.7 million persons across the United States and its four territories as of October 10, 2020. That leads me to my advice to really stay at home if possible. If you don't have an important activities to attend to then stay home and drink vitamins. Thats the least we can do.

Thought for The Soul
We probably would not have believed it if someone had told us a year ago that the country would essentially shut down for months in 2019, that the world's busiest city would be empty of traffic, that schools and colleges would close for an entire semester, and that blockbuster releases would be put on hold indefinitely.
Tumblr media
Mass shutdowns and cancellations of in-person events, ranging from athletic events to concerts to graduations, seem like scenes from an outlandish science fiction film with an improbable premise. Isn't this something you'd see in real life?
This year, we've all changed. We've lived through historic periods, and it's practically hard to not be affected by anything of this size. The break from normal life was necessary.

Grateful
I've learned the tragic consequences of an exceedingly contagious sickness through this epidemic. Every night on the news, we get the most up-to-date news on sickness and deaths. Every dinner hour, it made us sick. The anguish is compounded by the fact that our numbers are enormous.
I discovered that personal contact and socialization play a larger role in all of our lives than I had previously realized. I'm so lucky I have whom is not alone in his loneliness, and encouraging, friendly neighbors, friends, and relatives. Distancing myself from others, as well as a lack of group activities, all dampened my spirits. Surprisingly, as an enthusiastic, laughing person, I am now way more grateful.
