I developed my first roll of Kodak Gold 200 35mm, taken on my Nikon F5 film camera. While on a trip to Japan, my brother @simonsieradzki bought a Canon AE-1 Program SLR with a 50mm lens. He took some beautiful images, I kept it in the back of my mind. Then finally I found a good deal on my Nikon F5. It's a learning curve. Some of my first images turned out okay, a few really great & a few failed but overall I feel really inspired & happy with the results.

Yukari furikake is a blend of mainly red shiso (red perilla), salt & some sugar.

I marinated some chicken thigh pieces in garlic & ginger overnight. The next day I added an egg & coated the pieces in corn flour. I then fried them, I was quite pleased with how juicy & tender it turned out. I prepared a donburi (rice bowl) with some vegetables, a little soy sauce & some yukari. ゆかりが大好き！Although, perhaps a little kewpie mayo may have further enhanced the meal. I also have 2 containers of miso paste in my fridge, I must learn how to prepare miso soup & eat everyday. It’s not so hard to make miso soup, isn’t it?
