Juliette Binoche will preside over the 78th festival de cannes Jury. The French actress will award the Palme d'or, 40 years after her first steps on the Croisette! The President of the Cannes Film Festival Jury has won the hearts of audiences and critics alike with a filmography that brings together the greatest filmmakers.

The 78th Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 13 to May 24, 2025.

In 2024, most of my time has been spent around journalism. Apart from that, I did a handful of creative work last year. Three songs I wrote have been released. I covered the Cannes Film Festival for the eighth time. Before going to Cannes, I was selected as a voter for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. While in Cannes, I received an invitation as a voter and spent some time on a luxury yacht one afternoon. As part of being a voter for the Golden Globe Awards, I spent night after night watching movies and television program last year. I had the opportunity to participate at many video conferences. These experiences are priceless! I hope to get the opportunity to do some new creative work in 2025. I will write songs. I will write a new book. I wish everyone the best. Happy New Year!

My new song, titled "Tomar Chule," has been composed and sung by Arfin Rumey. It will be released tomorrow, December 14, 2024, on the Cinemawala Music channel on YouTube. The song has been created for the new drama "Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti," directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz.
