With a little under two weeks to the launch of The Frozen Kingdom's kickstarter,  our sprite artist is hard at work to make the cast look as handsome as possible in the demo! We've been showing bits and pieces of the designs via the CGs we've been using for promotion, but now you can get a look at the sketch stage of the first half of the cast:

Einar, the barbarian hero. Our protagonist! The youngest son of the village's chief, he embarks on a quest of revenge after his village is destroyed on the orders of the evil sorcerer Oggun. As any good barbarian, the two things he enjoys the most are fighting... and fucking.

Zerebeth, the elven prophet. An elven prince that's been looking for someone who can wield a legendary sword and defeat Oggun.  Don't be fooled by his looks, he's quite resilient!

Oggun, the evil sorcerer.  The son of a sorceress that once ruled the world, Oggun now aspires to do the same. As a result of his powers, everywhere he goes turns into a frozen wasteland.

Shipping aside, Saturn’s and Groaner’s character development is one of my favorite things about Supermansion. It started as a joke on obsessive enemies... then we got all those like hints that Saturn might be bi... then the marriage episode... and now they’re not only friends, but they’re this close from a confession. The romance is much better than I’d expect from a comedy show.

I really hope we get to see Saturn and Groaner date next season and they don’t leave it as “it will happen eventually” thing. I’m insanely curious about how it would happen - would Saturn realize first, and become even more obsessed with Groaner? Would he bother the hell out of Groaner to get him to date him?

(I want Saturn to prepare a big thing to tell the team, only for them to go “no shit, of course you two are dating.” )

All you batjokes shippers do yourself a favor and watch Supermansion on Crackle (if you don't mind crude adult humor, of course). The Batman and Joker expies (Black Saturn and Groaner, respectively) not only have a similar arc to Lego Batman's (just that in this case, it's Black Saturn who is obsessive about labeling their relationship) but as of the more recent episode, the show has acknowledged that their relationship is supposed to be read as romantic. They're basically batjokes on crack and it's gay and awesome.

Hello!! I am Alyssa Dalangin. I’m a young lady studying animation at Laguna College of Art and Design (third year!), and my BIG dream is to work on cute, uplifting, inclusive cartoons for kids and young adults someday. My somewhat-more-manageable dream is to become a storyboard artist at a cartoon studio.

Why am I doing a fundraiser? Long story short, a huge part of my financial plan fell through, and my school is only just now letting me know of it. Some of it is covered by grants, scholarships, and subsidized/unsubsidized loans, but there’s still a huge difference that I cannot pay. I’m looking into taking out a private loan to help cover the difference, but I fear it may saddle me with an unreasonable interest debt, so I’m trying to lessen the amount I need to borrow as much as possible.

Obviously, I don’t expect to meet the full amount through this fundraiser alone, but EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! Even five dollars! Every single dollar helps lessen the blow that loan debt will have on me after I graduate.

(I haven’t completely worked out the details, but I’m hoping to get together prizes that all donators will be entered to potentially win in a raffle. More on this when I get it sorted.)

A visual novel about dating monsters

Monstrous Lovers is a boys’ love visual novel with a focus on dating monsters inspired by classic horror movies. Choose between a vampire, a wolfman, a robot and an invisible man!

The story

Play as Christopher Wells, a young government employee who was recently transfered to Saint George, the city with the highest population of monsters in the country.

Unfortunately for him, the Saint George office is both underfunded and understaffed, and not everyone is happy about having to work with a human.
