It just absolutely wrecked me as both a fan and honestly it hurts me every time a human being dies,especially of the dreaded c word.

I just hate seeing suffering,loss,and pain all the time. It gets overwhelming.

If you can't write a character outside of one archetype. Then you shouldn't be writing that character. What isn't 100% canonlly stated from him is if he's an alien stand user or not.
