Third trimester and Anetra is graduating with a perfect gpa. She has to admit, it was partially driven by spite, but it got the job done.

Rachel: Are you going to tell her?

Anetra: I don't know... On one hand, the child support would help, but I'm afraid she might try and like, kidnap the baby.

Rachel: Don't fairies usually kidnap human babies and replace them with fairies?

Anetra: I mean, yeah, but consider the circumstances.

Rachel: Good point. I think you should relocate after graduation, even if it's just to another neighborhood. Just kinda lay low.

Anetra: [sighs] Yeah, I think you're right.

Nadya: Oh, my love, why worry yourself with silly hypotheticals?

Anetra: It's a valid question. My whole family is human, I don't want them to feel like you think less of them...

Nadya: Your whole family? How is that possible?

Anetra: Well... I was born human, I chose to be a fairy.

Nadya: Well, of course you would if given the option. Don't worry, once you become fully immersed in the fairy way of life, you won't even miss those humans.

Anetra: Those humans? That's my family! Fuck, my friends were right. I can't believe it took me so long to see it.

Nadya: What are you trying to say?

Anetra: I'm saying you need to leave. Now.

[Much to Anetra's surprise, when she returns from class, she sees that Rachel has rallied their other two closest friends - Carmen and Tanvi]

Anetra: Um... what's going on?

Rachel: We need to talk to you about Nadya, and I think being surrounded by friends will help.

Carmen: Let's just cut to the chase - Nadya clearly has a superiority complex when it comes to fairies, and it doesn't seem like she wants you to hang out with humans.

Anetra: Listen... she's just... passionate about being a fairy.

Tanvi: It's beyond that, Neech. As far as she's concerned, fairies are superior to humans. How did she react when she told her you were one?

Anetra: Well... it hasn't come up yet. I thought she'd just figure it out when she met my family.

Rachel: You need to talk to her. If we're wrong, so be it. But we're all just looking out for you.

Anetra: Okay, okay, I'll tell her and report back.

Nadya: Don't worry, this is just a matter of playing the long game. Once she's done with college, I'll get her away from this silly little human-centric life. Give it some time, she won't even miss them.

Rachel: [eavesdropping while doing coursework] What the fuck...

Rachel: Oh! Hey Nadya... listen, I know Neech talked to you, I told her she didn't have to. I hope you didn't take it the wrong way. I would just like us to be friends too.

Nadya: Yes, yes, you humans can be so... insecure. But I hold no ill will towards you. If anything, you should make the most of the time you two have.

Rachel: ...What's that supposed to mean?

Nadya: Nothing, darling.

Anetra: Hey, totally not accusing you or anything, but you don't have an issue with Rachel, right?

Nadya: No offense to your friend, but I don't have enough emotional investment in her to have an issue.

Anetra: I'm not saying you have to be emotionally invested in her, but she's my best friend and she's important to me.

Nadya: And I respect that. I will try to be kinder towards her, especially as we get you more fairy friends.

Rachel: You know, I don't think Nadya likes me very much.

Anetra: Aw, honey, I don't think that's true. She's just a little awkward around humans.

Rachel: It seems more 'cold' than 'awkward', but if you say so...

When Anetra approached Nadya, she didn't go in with any expectations. All she knew was that she was another fairy and that she was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. No big deal, right? Luckily, their chemistry was immediate and after a long night of talking and flirting, they went home together and, well, you can fill in the blanks.

Rachel: Listen, the commitment to the theme is cute but it just starts to get a bit much...

Anetra: No, yeah, I totally get you. Maybe after this round we should just-

[she stops in her tracks as a fairy approaches the bar]

Nadya: Hi Wendell, I'll take my usual, please.

Anetra: Actually... I think I'll stay a little longer.

Rachel: [laughs] You are so predictable.

I feel like there's a 'fairy dust' joke to be made, but alas...

They've been friends since childhood, so this is very cute.

Rachel: Does it feel different? Being a fairy?

Anetra: Kind of. I feel more... in tune with nature. It's peaceful and relaxing, but I'm also more aware of everyone's feelings, and that can be a lot.

Rachel: Sheesh, I can imagine. Do you think that'll make dating easier or harder?

Anetra: Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
