Octonauts Headcanons #19

Because of how weird everyone's schedules are, the Octonauts don't typically get to eat all at the same time and because everyone is a different species almost all of them need to have different foods.

Whenever they do actually get to eat together, it tends to turn into a potluck of some sort with everyone bringing something that they personally can eat so that no one goes to bed hungry.

The octopod is slightly sentient. Not like fully in control of everything but if Peso needs a certain medication it tends to end up right in arms reach and if Inkling is looking for a specific book it may just end up falling out of the bookshelves even if the octopod is stationary.

While Inkling does spend a lot of his time reading, he actually has really bad eyesight. Most of the books that he reads either have larger print or mainly have pictures.

Shellington has a tendency to fall asleep while standing up. He typically tries to stay awake for as long as he can to get as much work done as possible which leads to him falling asleep for a few minutes at a time throughout the day in whatever position he is in at that moment.

Because Peso is a penguin(the type is unknown but I think he is a Gentoo penguin) he tends to consume rocks to help his digestion. Some of the Octonauts did not know this at first and were a little weirded out the first time they saw him just eat a rock

Shillington has a the worse immune system out of everybody(he gets sick every other week)

Kwazii is the most flexible(do you can do the splits, backflips, gymnastics, acrobatics, contortion)

Dashi is allergic to chocolate(because she is like a dog dogs can’t have chocolate) so she has her own special hot chocolate the crew made for she

Kwazii and dashi are theater kids(also peso, but he doesn’t like to admit it.)

Dashi and tweak have girls night they do each other hair do each other’s nails watch the Barbie movies(the classic Barbies movie the early 2000s ones not the new one the good old one the good old fashion) the guys are invited too Everyone’s welcome😊

Barnacles do like a little thing everyone have a personal’ mission’ so barnacles would like bring this person to a cop say it’s for a mission and then they just talk drive around eat some fish biscuits and come back to headquarters

Barnacles has custom home made arts and crafts trophies that his crew made for him(so it’s gonna be like old cardboard, markers glue and a lot of glitter so cute🥺)

Octonauts Headcanons #10

Professor Inkling has sections in his library for each of the octonauts.

He has mystery novels for Dashi and kids books for the Vegimals. He has some romance books for Tweak and Barnacles (don’t judge either of them. They find them relaxing to read). He also has plenty of informational books geared towards the interest of specific octonauts.

The vegimals learned how to cook from a large variety of sources.

They learned quite a lot from Barnacles and a bit from Shellington, but the largest source for their cooking is actually from Ranger Marsh.

Tweak would set up calls for them so that Ranger Marsh would be able to instruct them through many dishes.

Occasionally the Octonauts have a movie night where everyone gives a movie suggestion, and they vote on which movie they will actually watch. Somehow this has led to multiple movies being banned from being suggested. These movies include but are not limited to:

The Barbie Movie

Any Mission Impossible movies

All Documentaries

Any movie that includes a dog dying

My dad just asked me what time we needed to leave for the thing that I have been doing on the same night every single week, twice a week even, for almost a year.

I will admit that the time for said thing has in fact changed before, however considering the fact that happened a solid 9 months ago I don’t feel like that is much of an excuse
