It would be funny if nuclear waste warning messages become an attraction for future historical linguists.
I mean look at this thing:
A parallel text in 7 languages, with 4 different scripts between them! And pictograms! All designed to be preserved intact!

Strange trans lifehack that I stumbled into:
For years I went by a shortened version of my legal name, which was generally considered to be a masculine name. People gave me endless grief for this. It was too much work to remember, compared to my legal name. It was just so hard to remember that I spelled it the normal masc way that people spelled that nickname, and not a femme-ified Tragideigh alternate spelling. It wasn’t even that different from my legal name anyway, so what was the big deal with people just using my legal name? Why was I being so difficult?
Then I legally changed my name to something ethnic and tricky to pronounce, with the exact same shortened nickname.
Now every time I tell people “oh, you can just call me x” I can hear the palpable relief in their voice as they do so. Overnight, my nickname turned from a concession to me into a concession to them. I instantly went from difficult to magnanimous – I’ve had people thank me for going by the same name I’ve been going by and getting grief for for well over a decade.
I guess sometimes the solution to “remembering your preferred name is too hard” is just to put the fear of god in ‘em. Oh, you think this incredibly common name that just happens to be a different gender is hard? Nah, I’ll show you hard. How about every time a stranger complains that remembering a preferred name in addition to what’s on my paperwork is too complicated, I add another phoneme that doesn’t exist in English to my legal one. Choke on that, lol.

a central transfeminist point that it's difficult for tmes to wrap their heads around is that trans women do in fact interact with society as women, and are treated as women, even when they're being misgendered. misgendering isn't just misunderstanding, it's a deliberate act of violence targeting a particularly vulnerable class of women
this seemingly paradoxical nature of transmisogyny is what makes talking about these things so maddening

if I ever strike gold and end up writing a popular book series i'd love to keep an eye on the fandom to determine the smallest crackship and make that the only one that goes canon

Homestuck is a very messed up webcomic even before the teens start murdering each other because in Act 3 you're already introduced to a character like "This 13 year old girl lives alone on an island with the taxidermy of her dead grandpa and her god-like dog. She is the most optimistic and lighthearted character of the group"

Meet Hikaru Seki, matriarch of the Seki family and mother to Hanako.
Hikaru has one goal and one goal only: to bring back the era of Fire Nation imperialism. In a time where the royal family wants nothing to do with global expansion, Hikaru turns to shady diplomatic tactics to garner favor for the fire nation were they ever to attempt colonization once again.
As someone from a long line of Seki women, she learned her skills as a diplomat from her mother, and in turn taught them to Hanako. How will Hikaru react if her daughter chooses to stray from the family legacy? Only time will tell.

I'm 4 of those 84 - if you haven't, might I recommend my works - they're all novel-length and Polypa is a major character in them (I love her - I wrote her volume for Friendsim 2).
A Delightful Abattoir - A post-ascension fic about the Alternian Empire and the revolution. Polypa is acting as Marvus' Fleet-assigned bodyguard and finds herself drawn into the political intrigue in a way she never expected.
An Unkind Sanctuary - The sequel to Delightful Abattoir, Polypa is now working with the rebels against the Empire.
The Antecedent - A sequel to articulatelyComposed's The Progeny (which is a Hiveswap/Homestuck combo AU) that follows Polypa in a post-Sburb Earth navigating political intrigue and deception as she faces off against a mysterious cult.
The Lineage - In the sequel to The Antecedent, Polypa is part of the revolutionaries on Earth, standing up against the Earth Empire.

It is quite obvious that I need to learn how to write if I want to continuously fuel my Polypa obsession
