Thai Basil Shrimp Salad

Have you ever had an herb salad? Well, this is kind of like that, but I think its WAY DAMN BETTER than the ones you’ve tasted. I know, I know. Very bold, pretentious and overly confident…but this is a risk I’m willing to take to try to convince you to try this.

If you’ve always relied on the flavor of a salad to come from the dressing, this salad is a game changer. The combination of aromatic herbs – we’re talking sweet basil, and Thai basil – grounded with spinach and cilantro leaves creates a heavenly mix of greens. The spicy saltiness of the dressing compliments the herbs and shrimp, you won’t even notice that there’s fish sauce in the dressing.
