I am actually really enjoying this season. The Doctor is The Doctor and the stories are interesting. The only thing that I got really annoyed with was all the close-ups in the first three episodes. Otherwise enjoyable.
Doctor Who is, at its core, a show about change. If you become married to a particular way the show does things - be it something in the opening titles, the look of the time vortex, or the way the new Sonic Screwdriver is introduced - you are ultimately going to be disappointed.
The best way to watch Doctor Who is not dissimilar from the best way to live one’s life: Embrace the change.
To be honest, I thought it was going to be so much worse. I was convinced someone would die; when they took them away I was convinced they would be vegetables or worse. So in a way I am quite relieved beacause we know memories can be recovered? maybe? However I still feel in my heart they will all die by the end. ・゜・(ノД`)
