Me and a few friends did another "Glöckner von Notre Dame" cover in English! This time it's 'Top of the World'.
In the musical, Esmeralda, Quasimodo and the Gargoyles sing this song when Quasimodo shows Esmeralda the view from the top of the Notre Dame for the first time. The Gargoyles are actually in Quasimodo's head in the German stage version of HoND, so Esmeralda can't hear them.
The music and lyrics of this song, and everything else from the HoND musical, are done by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. Again, this is based on the German version of the song and we used the English lyrics from the sheet music of the show.
