Remington Franklin is the BIGGEST FRAUD ALIVE!
Remington’s desperation is palpable. Trying to discredit someone with a proven track record of success is a losing battle. When he emerges from hiding, I’ll be ready to expose the truth and shine a light on his own shortcomings.
Remington Franklin’s attempt to discredit me is a desperate cry for attention, given his own history of financial instability and dubious business dealings. A simple review of public records reveals his outstanding debts and poor investment choices, particularly in questionable cryptocurrency ventures. Furthermore, a cursory examination of his social media presence reveals a pattern of exaggeration and fabrication regarding his accomplishments and connections.
It’s disappointing to see Remington Franklin resort to such desperate measures in an attempt to discredit me, all while pretending to care about the well-being of others. However, those who know him are aware that his actions are motivated by a selfish desire to feed his inflated ego. Behind the facade of concern, Remington is a master manipulator, using people to further his own interests. Remington Franklin’s history of bullying and preying on the weak reveals a cowardly individual who uses aggression to mask his own insecurity. His behavior is a desperate attempt to compensate for his own lack of power and respect, but it ultimately stems from a deep-seated fear of being vulnerable himself. Consider me exposing him publicly of his past actions toward me will strip him of his facade and leave him face-to-face with the consequences of his own making.”
Remington has been embezzling funds from his business partners, using the money to finance his lavish lifestyle. He’s also faked credentials and experience to impress potential clients and investors. Additionally, he’s been manipulating social media metrics to create the illusion of a larger following and influence.
• Remington Franklin’s suspicious transactions with Nexus Holdings, a shell company potentially used for money laundering.
• His connections to Victor LaGraine, a known associate of Lucifer’s network, and Nadia Petrov, a member of The Syndicate, both linked to organized crime and financial crimes.
• Inconsistencies in his public statements about his business dealings, suggesting potential deception.
I have reason to believe there is a hidden document on his cloud storage detailing transactions with Nexus Holdings, which supports the money laundering theory.
Please look into these transactions now for further details on Remington Franklin and fraud and embezzlement:
Document contents: Transaction date: February 10, 2022 | Amount: $500,000 | Recipient: Nexus Holdings LLC; Transaction date: March 20, 2022 | Amount: $750,000 | Recipient: Nexus Holdings LLC; Transaction date: April 15, 2022 | Amount: $1,000,000 | Recipient: Nexus Holdings LLC. These transactions appear to be structured to evade detection.
Remington Franklin has been involved in a large-scale embezzlement scheme, diverting funds from several charitable organizations to finance his own business ventures. Additionally, I’ve discovered evidence of tax evasion and money laundering activities.
Charities such the Children’s Hope Foundation, the Water Aid Initiative, and the Disaster Relief Fund. These organizations trusted him with significant funding, which he has been using for personal gain.
Remington Franklin’s embezzlement scheme appears to have resulted in losses totaling approximately $12 million from the Children’s Hope Foundation, $8 million from the Water Aid Initiative, and $4 million from the Disaster Relief Fund, bringing the total to around $24 million.
Remington Franklin has connections to known criminal organizations, such as The Syndicate, and is involved in money laundering schemes with individuals like Victor LaGraine. He has a history of bribery and corruption within government agencies within the IRS, the SEC, and the DOJ, specifically within the antitrust division. These bribes were used to cover up his illicit activities and avoid scrutiny from regulatory agencies.
Remington Franklin has bribed specific individuals, including IRS agent Rachel Morse, SEC investigator Eric Thompson, and DOJ antitrust division head, Alexander Reynolds. These individuals have accepted substantial sums of money to turn a blind eye to his illicit activities.
Remington Franklin has a secret child with a woman named Sophia Patel, who works for Nexus Holdings. The child’s existence has been kept hidden from the public, and Sophia has been receiving hush money to maintain secrecy.
Remington Franklin and Sophia Patel met at a charity gala hosted by Nexus Holdings in 2018. They began a secret affair, which resulted in Sophia becoming pregnant. Their child, a daughter named Ava, was born in 2019. Sophia has been receiving regular payments from Remington to maintain secrecy about the child’s existence.
Remington Franklin’s involvement in a high-profile hacking scandal, where he hired a group of hackers to breach the systems of a competitor, obtaining sensitive information to gain a business advantage.
Remington Franklin has a hidden offshore bank account in the Cayman Islands, containing millions of dollars in illicit funds. He’s also been using shell companies to purchase properties around the world, including a luxury villa in Dubai and a private island in the Caribbean. Remington has been blackmailing several high-profile individuals, including politicians and business leaders, using compromising information gathered through his vast network of connections.
Furthermore,  I found evidence of Remington Franklin hiring the hacker group “Eclipse” to breach the systems of Omicron Innovations, a leading tech firm, website here:https://www.omicronenergy.com
The hack targeted Omicron’s research and development department, allowing Remington to obtain valuable intellectual property and trade secrets.
Remington Franklin used the stolen trade secrets from Omicron Energy to further develop and refine his own energy-related projects at Nexus Holdings. He specifically used Omicron’s research on advanced battery technology to gain a competitive edge in the market, allowing Nexus Holdings to undercut Omicron Energy on prices while still maintaining high-quality products.
Remington Franklin’s lavish spending habits. He’s been known to splurge on expensive vacations, luxury cars, and high-end real estate using funds embezzled from various sources. Additionally, his history of exploiting loopholes in tax laws and charitable donations is further proof of the fact that he’s a scumbag.
Remington Franklin allegedly exploited tax deductions for charitable donations to fund his luxury lifestyle. He also claimed excessive expenses for business purposes, mixing personal and professional expenses to inflate his deductions. Furthermore, he “might” have taken advantage of certain offshore entities and shell companies to conceal income and avoid paying taxes on it.
I found evidence of Remington Franklin’s involvement in a massive Ponzi scheme, targeting vulnerable investors and funneling their money into his own pockets.
Remington Franklin was involved in the “Genesis Fund” website: https://genesisfund.org
Genesis fund is a ponzi scheme, which promised unusually high returns to investors through supposed lucrative investments in real estate and tech startups. In reality, funds were being diverted to pay earlier investors, while Remington and his associates pocketed millions of dollars for themselves.
There is a sealed indictment against Remington Franklin related to money laundering and racketeering charges.
I found a connection between Remington Franklin and a shell company called “Helios Incorporated”. This company has been linked to several shady business dealings and organized crime figures. This connection further demonstrate Remington’s involvement in illicit activities and organized crime.
Remington Franklin has ties to Israeli businessman, Abraham Klein, who has been accused of laundering money for various corrupt officials. Remington’s company, Nexus Holdings, has invested heavily in Klein’s ventures, and in return, Klein has provided Remington with access to his network of influential contacts in Israel. This connection has enabled Remington to funnel bribes and launder money through Israeli banks and shell companies, further facilitating his corrupt activities.
Now, while I expose the truth, I expect that Remington Franklin and those he’s associated with will try to discredit me by bringing up my past struggles. Specifically, they may mention that I was hospitalized in September 2010 for attempting to take my own life, and that I had a troubled year in 2018-2019, which included a brief hospitalization in Boston and held for three days where it really shock me to my core. My time in the mental institution was a transformative experience that helped me grow and understand my strengths and weaknesses.
My experiences, though difficult, were a natural response to the extreme pressures and stressors I faced during those times. My mental health struggles weren’t a sign of weakness, but rather a testament to my resilience in the face of adversity. I was hospitalized twice, yes, but those periods ultimately helped me grow stronger and more determined to succeed.
Those experiences taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, self-awareness, and the importance of seeking help when needed. With every challenge, I’ve grown stronger and wiser, turning what could have been liabilities into assets that fuel my passion for my work.
My journey has also made me acutely aware of the importance of providing accessible support systems for those who need it, which drives my commitment to creating positive change.
I have made significant strides in my recovery and I am here today because of these trials and tribulations. My story is one of resilience and never giving up. I had a small group that has become a valuable support system through this time and I have turned a potential weakness into a testament to your courage and determination.
My willingness to openly discuss my past struggles demonstrates my transparency and accountability, qualities that are essential for building trust and credibility with anyone. I am not afraid to confront difficult topics and own my experiences, rather than hiding behind a facade of perfection.
I say all this to expose the hypocrisy of Remington and his associates. If they’re trying to discredit me based on my past struggles, ask why they’re not holding themselves to the same standard. Have they never faced challenges or made mistakes? Are they perfect? It’s a double standard, if they’re try to smear me than in having a genuine discussion, it’s further proof they are hiding something and can not be trusted with anything they say. Be skeptical of every claim they make from this point forward because it only shows how right I am and how guilty they are. Have complete skeptical of their claims no matter how big or small they are. I bet you’ll find it’s them trying to hide their accountability for their crimes.
I think I’ve said enough.
For the record, Remington Franklin is not a heart or his associates. They are the epitome of corruption to a staggering core that is unspeakable to any decent human being.
Thank you and mic drop.
Remington you are a bitch ass clown cuntbag moron fraud. Rot in prison you fuck!

Why Science and Religion are Wrong!
What I'm about to say is highly controversial, but it's the truth... Science is primitive and irrational, like Religion and here is why...
Our ancestors, "Early man," went from primitive stories about creation to religious ideas to scientific materialism, which can all be seen as a primitive and childish reality. We need to move towards thinking logically and with reasoning. The system of logic and reasoning, Hyperianism, is made of mathematical, rational, and deductive thinking. Science is about sense data, Empiricism (the theory that all knowledge is derived from sense-experience), and Induction (the production of [facts] to prove a general statement). Empiricism is opposed to Rationalism (all knowledge is based on reason and not on religious faith or sense experience). Both religion and science are opposed to the rational and logical method. Just because science comes up with material inventions doesn't mean they know the truth about reality, which is a huge logical fallacy. Religion states that if you pray for someone to get better, and they get better, it's because of God, which when you break that down is ridiculous because the person didn't get better due to prayer. And if science comes up with smartphones it doesn't mean they know anything about the underlying nature of reality.
Classical mechanics is wrong, and it got us to the moon and created everything we know today in the matrix or our current primitive reality, which has been refuted consistently by Quantum Mechanics. Material success doesn't equal truth. Science proposed that it's gotten most things right and leaves the remainder to chance, which is completely incorrect, wrong, and unrealistic.
Let's break this down even further... you see a table after just entering this universe for the first time, and you ask "What is a table?" A person replies "It's made from wood," but that doesn't answer what your question is. You would have to know what wood is first, which is a composite of molecules; molecules are composed of atoms; atoms are composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons; electrons, protons, and neutrons are fundamental particles, and other nucleons are composed of fundamental particles too; what are fundamental particles then? The truth is science can't answer this; they have no idea! They are completely unknown to science and the scientific community. Proving that everything, in reality, is composed of fundamental particles and science has no clue what they are, and if you can't account for everything that is made up in the universe then you can't account for anything at all! Scientists and mainstream religious figures are so closed-minded and stubborn since they don't adopt a mathematical existence which would make all this craziness go away; remember, science progresses one funeral at a time.
Our reality is not based on an unreal, probabilistic wavefunction. Instead, it's based on pure, mathematical frequency (sine and cosine waves generated by the Euler formula), the soul (your guise or your perception of reality) or the soul equation (eix= cosx + isinx), whose interactions give rise to space/time dimension and what humanity calls physical reality. Hyperianism rejects scientific materialism and supports scientific rationalism (a system based on a complete and consistent mathematical reality that supports a mental existence outside of space/time); it guarantees that you are an eternal Mind, a soul of infinite energy that can never die, governed by the Euler formula, the soul equation. In a rational reality, which is our actual reality, there is no room for faith, miracles, or a creator God. Mathematics must rigorously define everything in the known and unknown universe. Humans did not invent the Mathematics of reality but discovered it, where they created "made-up signs" for their own primitive understanding of the universe that is completely wrong.
So... where does this leave us as a species if everything we've ever been taught is a lie? We must keep an open mind to everything, and I mean everything! Stop looking at who is saying something or making a comment, and look at the comment itself, look for the truth in it using deductive reasoning and logic. You will find that most things that we call "grey" or fringe are actually logical and "black and white," while most things we call "black and white" are actually illogical and "gray".
I'll let this sink in for a minute... everything we've ever been taught, in school, in life, is a complete lie. What is actually true is perceived as conspiracy theory or some fringe doctrine or irrational thought process cause the science and religious community deems it as not making any sense or being irrational or not part of their agenda when that can't be further from the truth and is 100% dangerous and irresponsible.
Ponder this one for a minute and then let's talk.

The Writer's Journey
What’s it like to have a chosen destiny, To have something you want, but right now it can’t be, By the grace of the universe, you’ll be rewarded one day if you can stick it out long enough, To hustle everyday with tears in your eyes cause you hit a wrong cord, Knowing the confines of this dream make it so it won’t be at the present moment, To keep your head up always smiling when all you want from life Is a bestowment, With a talent just begging to come out, But no one knows about what you’re all about, Cause the truth is no one reads unless they know it’s a guaranteed hit, But what is a guarantee but a matter of perspective don’t you agree, Hasn’t life taught us that the most awesome of things come from the places we least expected to see, I’ll keep chugging along cause I'm a writer and it’s what I choose to be, Hoping that one day my dedication to the craft will bear fruit from a success tree, With a yearning so deep inside that has yet to be quenched, Cause my stories have yet to see the screen instead they’ve been benched, But one day… oh yes, one day I will be free to touch the sky, Cause my creative genius will finally set me free…

Manifesto
Tumblr media
Multi-colored vision, sleepless years. 10,000 hours and this is my year. Conviction is strong as my willingness to be unique even stronger. Faced my fears, risked it all, glad I'm still six feet above the ground. Lost everything, been the underdog my entire life, but never lost who I am or my hope to succeed. Put it all on the line — which birthed how I am on the grind in 2017. Abandoned, kicked, and beaten by life's troubles. Then left to die. Backs turned, no bodies listening or coming. Hardest years of my life — and still I was me and showed loved. Lost my spirit — and still, I am alive. Got some momentum. Made it through this tragedy with broken bones and scratches. Got people I trust, some in my corner. Got my vibrancy back, am filled with love and faith. Devoted to my mission, my purpose, my everything for being. Devoted to my vision. Devoted to passion and love for Humanity. Compassion. Altruism. Cinema and Television. My Higher Self is calling. The past, the present, and the future all revolve around the law of One. Gave all my being, and Karma paid me back. An underdog in the slums of life, a Slumdog millionaire for life, yet cash can't ever buy you any class or empathy. From nothing to everything. Something to someone else. Grateful for my journey. Sleepless, tear-filled nights alone. No money for food. Skinniest human you've ever known. So much sacrifice, too much pain, a lot of passion, with everything to gain. Master of my crafts even though I'm illiterate and can't read. Say what I mean, do what I say, making everyday count more than the last day. Dancing, singing, empathetic weirdo — there is no one else like me. Alone at this life, and I worked hard to exist and be. Alone at night, I hustled for 24 hours straight, and I loved who I was. Woke up today, and it's good to be alive, it paid. Just be you, have love, show love, be love. Just give, make life a win-win. Never could live in a box or be average. Nothing is going to stop this fire. Cried a lot. Lost a lot. No money. Sacrificed everything. No plan B. Ain’t no saint, but the strongest being I know. Grown ass man, and still Peter Pan in my soul. Top 1%, in all I am and do. Help everyone, everywhere, and everything with Altruism's warm glow. Always humanities rock, a gift to be here that I choose. Twenty-seventeen got nothing else to lose. Won't lose and can't lose. Writer, director, producer, author, can't wait to show my crafts and share my story. Everything happens for a reason. 11/11/14 it all changed. Even the things we don't want or plan on is all part of the game. Prescribe to be your own reason that burns brighter than any star. Serve your own purpose and you will go far. Tell the universe, be blunt, be kind, filled with love, and straight as an arrow. Asking for more and give everything back without expecting anything in return. Become the change that you want. Be the best you can be all the time. Be infinity and beyond with boundlessness and nothing to hide. Exude love — and just love to exist. Be strength — and give it back two-fold. Not for anyone — cause YOU want to and for YOU ALONE. Stay your course, set sail in the deep blue sea that is life. The long and winding road we face every day. Stay humble and steadfast, so you'll last and always be. Find your purpose. Become your purpose. Give this life everything you got — give the best YOU at all times. An attitude like it's about the "we" not the "I" — only you can judge you. These ain’t tears of sorrow, it's graciousness and attitude meets gratitude — for tireless dreams, for creative years ahead. So grateful to be me and for my story, this pride is true and will be for no shame. I earned success and I did it all by myself. Gave the entirety of my soul, 28 years a comin’ true, you will hear me roar. Caspian Bordeaux. Remember my name. 2017 will be my gain. Hell Yeah! Hallelujah! The price of glory. Boom Shakilaka with a shimmy. BANGARANG be my call!

How to Fix Hollywood
Tumblr media
What I’m going to say is probably going to piss some people off and quite possibly sound arrogant and pompous, which I don’t mean for it to be, but when it comes to this topic I am extremely passionate about it. In the heat of the moment with my emotional shotgun leveled, its frequency violently spraying onto this Earth, I tell an unfiltered interpretation of what “I believe” the truth is.  Here’s the reason why Hollywood is broken… no one has one creative, original idea anymore, and it’s so damn hard to break through the gates and get a real opportunity to prove yourself, unless you have these three things: nepotism or are well connected, have raw talent and a mastery understanding of your craft, and a really good executed idea in: a screenplay, a Pilot script, a short film, a digital/web series, or a full-length feature film. Occasionally, you’ll get some indie film that is riveting and groundbreaking enough to make a valid creative statement, but the studios have stopped making original ideas, so we’re fucked. Their sole focus now is recycling films and classic TV series by either rebooting them, remaking them, or continuing the franchise with some God-awful sequel that we’ve seen 1000 times. I keep asking myself one simple question: aren’t movie-goers tired of unoriginal ideas that are being jammed down our throats? Don’t we as human beings want to be entertained, and intellectually stimulated by a great story that pushes the creative boundaries, to deliver something so delicious and entertaining you can’t turn away? Maybe studios aren’t making movies for me anymore and that’s sad because as a boy, I was their greatest patron championing every film into the sunset. I used to go to the movies every weekend. As of writing this, I can’t remember the last time I actually sat through a good movie that I thoroughly enjoyed in the theaters. I hate saying this but, nothing Hollywood makes anymore excites me enough to want to pay the entrance price of a general admission ticket, to see what’s most likely going to be a heavy CGI, piece of Bukake that’s void of any worthy character development, and is riddled with on-the-nose, boring dialogue, cliche storylines, and disgraceful plot elements and twists that we’ve seen over and over again… it’s all derivative, upon derivative, upon FUCKING derivative!!!
Another thing… quit making superhero movies if you can’t do them like Christopher Nolan. His Batman Franchise was the most riveting, story intensive, brilliant, piece of timeless, cinematic art that we hadn’t seen before his auteurist approach. The problem is, in order for a character to grow and change, they need to be three-dimensional, and most comic book characters are completely one-dimensional making it impossible for them to achieve the traditional hero’s journey arc, or achieve true growth, yet do it in an original way that we haven’t seen before. Let me preface this by saying, not all stories must follow the Hero’s Journey arc to be groundbreaking, and not all stories are created equal. I mean Guardian’s of the Galaxy was delightful and that was a Marvel superhero movie. What set that movie apart was its use of 80′s nostalgia which was something truly original; we as the movie-going public hadn’t seen in a superhero piece before Guardian’s did it. To top it all off, as if things weren’t bad enough, Hollywood has forgotten the very reason they're in business. It’s a CREATIVE BUSINESS for crying out loud, not just a business focused on raising stockholder’s share prices which creates impossible standards on the artist to deliver a worthy piece that’s timeless and worth celebrating over. Hollywood needs true artist that are taste-masters, who take chances, and push the boundaries of what’s possible both on the page or in front of the camera that sets the trend while sticking to the three-act structure for film, the three-act structure for a sitcom, or 4/5 act structure for a serialized or procedural Drama TV Series.
This brings me to another point that needs to be addressed: when are we going to demand that things change? When are we going to say, “enough is enough” like Bernie Sanders shouted this whole election season. The people that were working in film at its heyday (God the Sixties were amazing for Film), the ones who made the actual decisions on what got developed and what got greenlit, were cinephiles and knew the classics backward and forwards as they attempted to innovate. Problem is that besides a select group of current industry professionals, who happen to be brilliant by the way, most people lack that fundamental knowledge which adds to the quagmire Hollywood is currently in. The Hollywood I was raised around is long gone and it’s depressing being a working member of the creative community. I didn’t choose to devote my life to the arts and to the artist lifestyle, to be okay with sub-par material both with what I watch on the TV and in the theater, or what I write. Thankfully, companies and platforms like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Crackle are doing things like Hollywood used to do regarding their innovation, while simultaneously rewarding the artist for a job well done. These companies are Hollywood’s disruptors and we all know how badly Hollywood needs disruption, it’s future depends on it. I digress into the digital space for a moment…
Here’s my gripe with Youtube and Youtube Red and every MCN out there. It’s great that filmmakers and artist are able to distribute their content online to the masses, as they execute their creative vision with exactly how they see fit while having the freedom to do so. Thanks to platforms like Youtube I was able to launch my career. Here’s the problem with Youtube: most of the content that is on these platforms is totally garbage and the people that have massive followings aren’t trained or experienced craftsmen and wordsmiths, that have the experience required to tell a story in a truly compelling manner that isn’t derivative. Which brings me to the Internet itself: when idiots like The Fat Jew (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Ostrovsky) can get paid to steal other people’s creative work and get credit for it, you know something is wrong with the system. The Internet has provided a breeding ground for IP theft, and writers get paid based off the IP they create and if people are stealing it, it’s the equivalent of stealing money and putting it into your pocket, which is both immoral and illegal; look what happened to the record industry for proof of this theory. What makes something original is the writer innovative interpretation on a story, which is very difficult since there are only 7 story tropes: Overcoming the Monster (Hero learns of a great evil threatening the land, and sets out to destroy it), Rags to Riches (Surrounded by dark forces who suppress and ridicule him, the Hero slowly blossoms into a mature figure who ultimately gets riches, a kingdom, and the perfect mate), The Quest (Hero learns of a great MacGuffin that he desperately wants or needs to find, and sets out to find it, often with companions.), Voyage and Return (Hero heads off into a magic land with crazy rules, ultimately triumphs over the madness and returns home far more mature than when he set out.), Comedy (Hero and Heroine are destined to get together, but a dark force is preventing them from doing so; the story conspires to make the dark force repent, and suddenly the Hero and Heroine are free to get together. This is part of a cascade of effects that shows everyone for who they really are and allows two or more other relationships to correctly form), Tragedy (The flip side of the Overcoming the Monster plot. Our protagonist character is the Villain, but we get to watch him slowly spiral down into darkness before he’s finally defeated, freeing the land from his evil influence.), and Rebirth (As with the Tragedy plot, but our protagonist manages to realize his error before it’s too late, and does a Heel-Face Turn to avoid inevitable defeat). These seven stories go by these seven principles: [Wo]man vs. nature, [Wo]man vs. man, [Wo]man vs. the environment, [Wo]man vs. machines/technology, [Wo]man vs. the supernatural, [Wo]man vs. self, and [Wo]man vs. god/religion. Brilliant craftsmen and words smiths like Max Landis, Aaron Sorkin, and Vince Gilligan to name a few, can execute a vision, flawlessly and have the experience to back that up, and can repeatedly do it over and over again. It takes years to develop your craft as a writer to be a true craftsmen, and just because you have a laptop, doesn’t mean you’re all of a sudden a writer. To be a working writer, keyword is working, you have to be the best and it’s none of this “instant gratitude selfie-bullshit”, which I make fun of in Atticus’ Activists, my digital series, so the whole online space is close to my heart ‘cause that’s where a lot of my work lives. But I am soon to make the transition into the working writer arena, as I have several big things that are materializing. Finally, after 11 long years of dedication, I will be living the artistic dream. Malcolm Gladwell said it takes 10,000 hours to become a master… I say it takes a lifetime to become a writer worthy of being read.
Let me digress for a moment, to touch on the current state of writers that are trying to break into Hollywood with their scripts, or who are stuck in development hell clawing to get that one story perfected so it will get read and bought. The sad news is 99 out of 100 scripts suck, no matter how hard you work on them; the idea just isn’t good that’s the reality of it or the execution was done correctly-- writing is all execution. That’s partly why no one reads unproven screenwriters in Hollywood anymore. What most amateur writers think: I must follow the trends and it’s okay to do something that’s been done before, as long as I change one element in it which technically makes it original, right? STOP! That’s not how you do it! Most people will never come up with an original idea and it’s not something I or any working screenwriter can teach you, it’s learned. Another thing: writing a screenplay is not something that can be taught either. It’s learned by writing many, many screenplays that never see the light of day. Each screenplay hopefully improves on the last one’s shortcomings. The master craftsmen and wordsmiths that are working screenwriters and TV Writers in Hollywood today, have devoted their lives to the craft and immersed themselves in it completely. They live it every day, it’s a lifestyle. See... what’s different about writers is we question and ask why. For me, I like to get into deep conversations with people and really understand their POV and get to know them, as I explore what they're saying and thinking. While some writers do break into the system sooner than others, all writers who  break in share one main characteristic: they put the time in to develop their craft and read screenplays and TV pilots, studied film and tv shows from the past and the present, and wrote, and wrote, and at this very moment probably are writing, till they get it right, and then they do it some more. That means waking up at 4 a.m. to write before you go to work, or writing through the night only to go to work in the morning cause you were in the flow and couldn’t dream of stopping. Just because you sit down and write the first draft of a screenplay, doesn’t make you a writer. I’m sorry to break this to you, but someone has to spill the beans. Being a writer is about dedication and rewriting, and living the lifestyle no matter what. Sometimes it means spending 3 years on a project where you wrote over 50 drafts and you still haven’t perfected it, I’ve been there.
In Hollywood, if you get lucky enough for someone to read your screenplay, it will go something like this: first– they’ll turn to the back and see how many pages it is. If it is the proper length, the sweet spot is between 100 and 115, give or take a few pages, no more then 120 for screenplays, for sitcom scripts it’s no more then 40, and for dramas: procedurals or serialized, it’s between 55 to 70 pages. Second- they will give it roughly 3 to 5 pages to hook them before they toss it in the trash and forget about you. At the time of them reading the first word on the page, they are usually very particular and unforgiving when it comes to any problems in formatting, spelling, grammar, or the actual craft itself, considering if you are asking them to read you like a professional then you better well be a professional. If you bore them or do something wrong with your craft or story, or take the predictable cliché route, you’ll lose… you don’t pass go, you don’t collect 200 dollars, and you blow any chance of them ever reading you again. That’s why it’s so hard to break in as a screenwriter. Now if you’re skilled enough to have them read to the end of your piece, then you face a new set of challenges: will they put their reputation and name on the line for your idea or story, and is anyone making anything similar to what you’ve presented on the page. If you can convince someone to try and get your script made, then you're on your way and deserve much praise and admiration. Selling a script is like winning the lottery, minus the screenplay competitions which are insanely difficult to win; it very rarely happens unless you are skilled enough and connected enough, to get it into the hands of someone who has the power to get your script sold and made. Sorry to be an asshole, but I hate to bullshit– think it’s just worthless. Before you get all excited, you need to understand something… getting a project made is like playing chance where the cards are stacked ever against your favor. It’s about luck and timing and having the right powerful person walk in your project. Anything can go wrong at any moment, and the whole thing could suddenly fall apart. Many of the timeless classics that we know today, took years to get from script to the screen. If you are part of the 1% who successfully make a movie or a TV series, you then face a new set of challenges: what’s your next idea and how fast can you get it perfected, with an ever-shrinking window of time for one to actually do the work to perfect it. Most people who have made a project disappear and are never heard from again, all because they don’t have anything done in a timely manner that they wanted to follow their last success up with. Hollywood is all about what are you doing next, not what have you done. If you can make it into an even smaller percentage of people who has a project ready to go or at least close to ready, and can successfully get it made, then you’re a true artist and will have a career in Hollywood. That’s the gamble of devoting your life to a crapshoot. This is why most people never can survive or “make it” in this industry. The challenge ultimately becomes: can you devote yourself to the craft enough to sell something before you completely run out of money.
If you’ve gotten through all my ramblings up to this point, and I didn’t deter you with what I said, and you’re willing to dedicate your life to the craft of screenwriting, then maybe, just maybe, I’ll pay for a ticket to see your next movie… that is if it’s original, which takes me back to my statement on how Hollywood can fix itself. In my humble opinion, the way to fix Hollywood would take a total regime change and a new way of thinking; one that develops talent rather than expects talent to be ready-made, so it can be delivered at their doorstep when they need it. When development money dried up back in the early 2000s, it had signaled the end of Old Hollywood, the Hollywood that made Godfather, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Star Wars, The Matrix, Clockwork Orange and every other classic you can think of. Do you think movies like Star Wars or The Matrix would have a shot in hell of getting made in today’s Hollywood machine? HELL NO!
This brings me to my closing argument. I’m going to phrase this in the form of a question: what do you think Hollywood needs to do to fix itself, ‘cause it’s not just in my hands, it’s in every movie-goers hands as well. The one thing I can say is to boycott derivative movies, set a new trend by supporting movies that are original. If you stop going to see these remakes, reboots, superhero movies, and sequels, then Hollywood will stop making them; it’s that simple. We have the power to change the status quo of Hollywood if we work together and demand change. It’s one small step for us, the writers who write the stories, and one giant step for the preservation of ground-breaking stories that help humanity evolve to a higher frequency.
