I’ve touched on this a bit but I think we both strive to do good out in the world. Josie’s the type that wouldn’t stand by for injustices and generally seeks to do good. Difference is that she’s a lot bolder and more outgoing than I am! I’d have to say we are both incredibly stubborn but I tend to find it hard not to write some stubbornness into my muses!

Home Sweet Home

Joscelynne Hastings knew the path by heart.

 Every stone that lined the bent waves of grass, the hour in which the sunlight would hit the blades perfectly, and the small array of critters that would welcome her on the journey. Her boots sunk into the soft grass of the meadows of Grizzly Hills as she leaned her head back taking in a deep breath. The sun beamed down on her freckled face as stood perfectly still taking in the brief peaceful moment in time.

 It was soon interrupted by the lumbering wolfhound that smacked straight into her backside causing her to fall forward into the grass in an ungraceful tumble.

 “RIDLEY!”

 Scrambling to her feet, clawing at the ground trying to find her crumpled bonnet, Josie turned her head towards her companion as she let out a low inhuman growl. “That was rather rude, you old oaf.”

 With a huff and a rather small puff, Joscelynne readjusted her bonnet back on her hair waving away the small wisps that threatened to escape her chignon. “There, we can’t arrive looking a mess, can we?” She inquired squinting her eyes at the canine who thumped his tail against her skirts mischievously.

 Rolling her eyes, she marched forwards on the hidden path taking careful steps to avoid slippery rocks and hidden snake holes. The wind was warm despite the coldness of the surrounding areas blowing a welcoming respite towards the tired traveler. “Home, sweet home…” She murmured to herself taking in the sight of her home - a place that she hadn’t seen for quite some time.

 It was a small cottage of little importance nestled in the hills of Northrend with a rickety fence and a small garden that unfortunately had overgrown since she had left. The herbs drying from the roof were now crinkled and dusty from their overexposure to the sun and abandonment from their mistress. Frowning at the thought, Josie turned towards her companion. “It seems we have a bit of cleaning up to do…”

 Trotting up the stone path towards the door, she turned leaning down to rest on her heels as she whistled towards the canine. “C’mon boy, let’s go home.”

 With that, the adventuress turned her attention towards the lone hook on the inside of the cottage hanging up her bonnet. Perhaps a bit of rest and respite was needed - let someone else take on the charge of adventuring for a while.

After all, she was finally home.
