It is important for EVERYONE to know how to help ANYONE. Not everyone can give them selves their medicine under every circumstance. Be educated, help out.

In the last year, i have gotten about five new violent allergies from foods i used to be able to eat. Next time i eat a fruit, my throat could close. I may not be able to inject myself. My boyfriend and i played with my trainer pen for like 30 minutes. He knows how to inject it. I know how. This is important.

Halloween Countdown

Getting a head start on Halloween! Here are two recent additions to my costume collection: First is a flapper outfit, purchased on eBay and modeled by Quinn - super cute in my opinion. And next is AG’s wood nymph costume, which has been on my wish list for a long time. It is shown here on Laney, and really sets off her beautiful green eyes!

Pionniere Quebecoise

This beautiful outfit from Maplelea is modeled here by Felicity. I haven’t quite decided how this will fit into my collection. I could create an original historical character who is an early settler in Quebec, or I could use this as as a costume for a modern girl who is celebrating her family’s heritage. Or, one more thought:

Maybe it could be worn by Caroline’s cousin, Lydia? They do look cute together, and my Caroline currently has no friends or relatives. But I think the Maplelea outfit precedes Caroline’s by about 100 years, so that is probably not a great idea. Just musing.

Meet Saffron, the newest resident of the dollhouse! She is a Just Like You #31 who loves wearing earth tones. She is wearing jeans from an Etsy shop along with sneakers from AG; her saddlebag and orange shirt are from Maplelea. You can read the touching story behind this shirt on Maplelea’s website. The shirt is $10.00 Canadian, and $3.00 of that will be donated to the Orange Shirt Society. Saffron already has her eye on two other outfits in the doll closet: AG’s African Dance Outfit of Today, and Maplelea’s Mooncakes of Toronto outfit. Pics will be shared.

Happy Campers!

Z is having a great time at Pine Lake Camp. She is wearing AG’s Outdoor Play Outfit.

Xander is ready for fun at Maplelea Camp. His shirt, shorts and hoodie are from Maplelea. Bucket hat and sneakers are from AG’s Cargo Outfit.

Remi is heading back to Camp Wekandu. This is a camp for kids with Juvenile Arthritis, located in southwestern Ohio. I custom ordered this shirt from Etsy’s BellaDivas for a sweet (and very active!) little girl who goes to this camp. Very pleased with this seller, btw. Remi is wearing shoes from BellasDivas and her shorts and sunglasses are on loan from Joss.

I have recently ordered from Maplelea for the first time, and am very impressed by the quality and value of their doll clothes. Logan is wearing the Paleontology outfit, which included everything shown except for the sneakers and the table. Cost was 50.00 Canadian, which is about $37.00 in U.S. dollars. Maplelea sells many gender neutral outfits, which makes me very happy since my boy dolls have limited wardrobes! The outfits often do not include shoes, which is not a problem since the shoes may or may not fit Ag dolls. Apparently Maplelea dolls have longer and slimmer feet, and sandals in particular will not fit AG dolls.

I also purchased the Explore More Camp outfit, which is super cute, the orange t-shirt, which has a touching back-story, and two pairs of pjs. I sort of already have a long wish-list.
