Bond Uni & Sweet 16 Party
On Monday I went to PAC Fair and bought J.
a present for her bday
(perfume, choker,necklace).
25th July Bday of my host sister 🎂 #sweet16
J's grandma and grandpa and her dad visited us in the evening and she got presents and we ate cake.
On Thursday all the internationals visited the famous Bond University and I met friends from Germany, who are on other schools at the Gold coast.
The Bond University is amazing and really big!
On Saturday we celebrated J's bday in the garden with all her friends from school 🎉.
The next day we cleaned the house and the garden and had a early sleep 😴

Sport's carnival (2nd week)
I started my fashion book and on Friday we had sports carnival. I did jumping and I was in the blue team, that's why I wore blue clothes.

First week at school 📚
M drove me to school and brang me to the school office, where all the internationals met.
There we got information and I met Sophia (girl from AIFS, which I didn't like (which is now my best friend here in Australia🙊🙆😂😄))she was with her host sister (from 🇮🇹, which is also my friend now) and I had a quick chat with them and with some other internationals. Belinda (lovely woman😍)
showed us the school and 'the tree' (nearly the best place at school and international meeting point in the breaks). We also bought or school uniform and took pics for our school ID.
On tuesday I had the first real school day.
Every Tuesday we have assembly for grade 11 .
After that I had Maths C, Media Arts, Physics and English.
I was not really happy with my subject choice. (it doesn't change after weeks 😫).
In the breaks I sat together with some Aussies and they asked me questions about germany, about myself,...
On the next day I had fashion as a new subject, was OK🙂. In the mornings before the normal lessons we have vibes in our classes. In vibes they mark the role and give us Info's and do the paper stuff.
On Thursday we have always assembly for the whole school (1500 students in a big hall!).
On Assembly the students get information, awards,... And before everything they sing the hymn. There is also always a woman, which
express everything in sign language.
After Assembly there is always QCD, I call that
'Mandala hour' because we are doing nothing in this lesson, we only talk, eat or color in mandalas.
(This lesson is intended for the people which want to go to university and they are working in this time. )
In the evening I bought a tennis racket because I chose tennis as friday sport.
My first lesson wasn't really good to many people in to less space and no one can play.
In the first week in my host family we had always dessert (ice cream, cake, chocolate)

J brought me to the beach were I met some boys and girls from school. It was a bit strange, but later I met some friends (also Sophia) and a girl, who told me about her to-do lists (food and activities), which she later sent to me 😄 (Thanks Emily)
Later in the evening we sat together at the beach and make a big bonfire.
M picked me and some friends up from the beach and took everyone home ☺.
Saturday, let's go to the beach!
I went to the beach with Sophia and Ele, it was to cold and windy for a swim, so we only lay on the beach. Firstly we couldn't find each other, because they two were at the other end of the beach (silly🙊).
I went out to Miami Marietta with a few friends and I ate fried vegetables with salat (türkisch)😋).
The nice thing is that the shops are open on Sunday that's why I went to the jobs with Finn and bought a few things for school.
25 min from my home is a big shopping centre, where you can get everything (called Pacific Fair). We ate for lunch Naan by an Indian restaurant.
On the way home I was lost🙉🙆

Meeting my host brothers (2nd day)
In the morning I woke up at 11 am (sooo late, I think it was because of all the travelling and activities in Sydney aaand the late nights 😄)
M had take me to the kids dad's place, but before we had "breakfast" at red rooster a drive-thru for fast food and went in a shopping center. So we had a chicken roll, fries and a coke and after that we went to the manicure salon for nearly an hour and M got their nails done (it smelled disgusting😫). What a life! Great start!
At J's (the house of the kids dad) we picked the boys up after perceived hours.
It wasn't really spectacular also not with the boys, I expected something different, but I shouldn't had to big expectations🙆

My first day in my host family 🌸
Finally!
That's ma new home and ma host family!
When I arrived only my host mum M., my sister J. and the dog C. was at home.
My little host brothers weren't there, they were at their dad's house. After the both had hugged me, we had a drink and a quick chat about my days in Sydney, my family and Germany and their daily family life and plans.
Then M. showed me the house, the garden and ma room.
(In the first days it was difficult to understand the Aussie slang :))
Before I came to Australia, M. had asked me which is ma favourite colour.
That's why my whole room was pink/rosa and she put pink flowers in my room 🌸
I unpacked my luggage and dressed up for going out with J. We went to Miami Marketta (street food), but we didn't eat anything, we weren't really hungry 🙆.
Later we took the bus to the beach where a beach party took place. It was crazy, I didn't like it all the drunk people. 90% smoked.
We had a little bonfire, but it was although cold. (Winter 🐒)
We went home by Uber after we had Kebab in Burleigh heads (little city, 10 min from my host home ). Firstly I thought we did hitchhiking or that it was a friend of J🙆🙊.
A few days later someone told me how Uber works 🙈(embarrassing!).
So if there is no bus or train,..took an Uber, it's much cheaper than a taxi💰
