While waiting to attend a party, Godriel Roman (left), Macalagh McNally (center) and Joshua Reese (right), were just some of the party goers that were taking pictures to pass the time. It was their friend’s Sweet 16 but they had to wait until the party room was still getting set up. “The squad is looking fresh.” said Joshua Reese.

Emma Watson reminds us why we still need Feminism
Recently, Vanity Fair released a photoshoot done with Emma Watson and she looks extremely gorgeous in these photos. One photo of her shows her chest mostly exposed. Now, people are criticizing her for showing her boobs and it’s confusing? I mean, have you seen her? She shouldn’t been ashamed for showing her body. Plus, why does it matter?
Tumblr media
It’s not even that bad. America is so scared of exposing the female body. It’s fine to see a man naked but when a women does it, everyone has something to say about it. I don’t understand how we can’t stare at a nude female body and act like an adult. It’s not that hard.
Tumblr media
People have this misunderstanding about feminism. Feminism is about equality and wanting equality for everyone. It is also to encourage women to take stand and not be ashamed of who they are and not letting society put them into groups and stereotypes. Emma isn’t showing them off to get attention, but just because she’s proud of who she is and isn’t afraid to show the world. There are encouraging tweets out there and I am so happy and proud to read them.

Me either, Emma, me either.
If you want to watch the video about her talking about it, it’s here;

Oscar Card Mistake
Moonlight’s producer was left speechless after his film was named Best Picture, but not until after a fatal mistake happened.
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were the announcers for Best Picture. Beatty was seen opening the envelope on stage, which followed with a confused look on his face. He handed the envelope to Dunaway, who appeared to think he was joking around, and announced ‘La La Land’ for Best Picture.
‘La La Land’ producers and cast came up on stage to accept their award and give their final speeches. Behind them, staff members of the Oscars hurried back and forth, talking to the producers on stage before announcing there has been a mistake in the announcement.
“We lost, by the way, but, you know” Fred Berger, ‘La La Land’ producer said in the mic after his speech.
‘La La Land’ Jordan Horowitz then confirmed it was a mistake by saying: “I’m sorry, there’s a mistake. ‘Moonlight’, you guys won best picture.”

How did this happen? Warren Beatty was given the wrong envelope. He was given the second ‘Actress in a Leading Role’ envelope. Yes, in the Oscars, all the winners have a duplicate card as told by the PwC.
A production source has said that backstage was chaos. There were things being yelled such as; “This was not Warren Beatty’s fault.” and “He’s got the wrong envelope!”
Behind the scenes, there are duplicates of the envelopes. All winner’s envelopes are guarded by two PwC partners, Brian Cullinan and Martha Ruiz. Beatty was handed the wrong card, but it is not clear who gave him the card and how it even happened.

Philadelphia police say approximately 100 headstones have been damaged at a Jewish cemetery in the northeastern part of the city. The vandalism occurred less than a week after a similar episode in a Jewish cemetery near St. Louis, where more than 150 graves were targeted.
Local police arrived at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Sunday morning after getting a call from a man reporting that the headstones of three of his relatives had been knocked over. A wider search then revealed dozens more headstones had been toppled, in a crime that investigators believe took place Saturday night.
WHYY’s Bobby Allyn spoke with Shawn Zevit, a Philadelphia rabbi who described the vandalism as “a hateful act, an attempt to create fear and to tarnish the memory of those who have died and attack their dignity.”

Lets talk about anxiety
Tumblr media
Anxiety
It’s that thing most people have but others refuse to talk about. I find people who tend to turn away from anxiety are people who don’t have it or do they know the people who have it and how much of a burden it is. Those same people also think that people claim to have anxiety to escape most situations, but they have no idea.
Myself, I have anxiety but it’s minor when it comes to most things, such as; making phone calls, dealing with people and situations or just ordering food. I told my family that I think i might have it because I am scared to do most things, but they merely view it as an excuse. They think I’m lying to get out of making a phone call. They don’t understand because they never experienced that inner dialogue with themselves.
Tumblr media
I have a friend who has bad anxiety. She has anxiety attacks and she’s afraid to do most things by herself, such as going on buses or being rejected from a job. Now, she is trying her best to get out there. She has no problem taking buses anymore. She is still anxious around other people, but she’s cracking her shell everyday, slowly but the cracks of her attempts to break free are showing. She over thinks and over worries, which also leads to anxiety and attacks. Her family doesn’t see if as an illness or a medical issue, but they see it as an excuse to not get a job. From what I can tell you, she’s searching for a job everyday. She’s putting herself out there to find one despite her anxiety. She’s putting effort into it, which is important.
Tumblr media
What’s wrong with today is that most of the younger generation had anxiety. There are different ways to show it. Some go through the day fine, though you can find them fidget around. Others have it worst and don’t ever want to leave the house. We should be able to help this generation and not criticize them and tell them it’s all in their heads. We should not turn a blind eye to anxiety because it is real and it plagues every age groups minds.
Instead of bringing someone with anxiety down, show them love and compassion. Be their friend and assure them that they do not bother you. Remind them of how great they are. Do activities together and make them feel wanted. Bring their self-esteem up and just love them.
Everybody say love.
