Kingsley shivered in the rain as he quickly walked home, being careful not to slip. He waved to the few who were still out on the street, bidding them a safe night. By the time he finally returned home, he was sopping wet and freezing. Immediately, he sloughed off his clothes and tossed them in the washer, before heading to the shower to clean off the day. Hopefully he’d warm up before getting in bed with his beloved wife; he didn’t want to freeze her too.

Cassidy fell into bed her feet aching and legs sore from the walking and salvaging along the beach. Happy with the haul she felt like she put in a good days work. She hoped Dice would be home soon, she missed him and as the weather started to turn she started to worry.

He nodded in agreement. “It’s only a once-in-a-while thing. I ‘aven’t been off in what’s felt like ages,” he said with a little smile. “It’s always nice being with ye.”

He came over and assisted her, kissing her hands once they had a moment. “I love yyou,” he hummed softly, gently nuzzling her head. “Please let me know if ye need any more help. I know yer a strong one, but I’m always here for ye.”

Moving Day- Cassie is moving into Dice’s place.

“Aww, thank ye!” He gave her a kiss on the cheek before helping with the organizing and such.

“I called out of my shift so I could ‘elp. The lads understood, thankfully. I think some might be jealous that I have such a wonderful wife,” he replied with a chuckle as he opened a box. “‘ell, I’d be jealous too. Yer an absolute gift!”

Moving Day- Cassie is moving into Dice’s place.

Dice helped Cassie carry the boxes inside, not wanting her to have to carry the super heavy stuff. Not that he thought she was weak, but rather because he didn’t want her to get hurt. He gave her a grin and jokingly flexed his muscles before getting back to work.

“We’re getting close to done,” he said, lifting one box on each shoulder. “‘Ow are ye feelin’, sweet wifey?”

He chuckled softly and wrapped his arm around her, rubbing her back again. “I’d be ‘onored to be introduced as such. And I’d love to introduce ye as me- my wife to my brother and mum. They’d fawn over ye and make sure ye were treated right.”

He hummed contently and smiled down at her, stroking her hair gently once more. “I am for sure. Thank you so much, love. Are ye doin’ alright?”

Cassidy was working in the shed on her motorbike when she heard the door open. She looked up quickly dropping the spanner on the floor, it fell heavily with a clatter and rattle as it scraped across the concrete.

“Yes?” She called out, quickly covering her work when she saw the silhouette and headlamp.

Peridot went to tea with Carolyn a few times, back when they were younger, and used to spend time with her quite a bit. Had sleepovers and everything!

They drifted apart as they got older, though, and neither had any idea that the people they were married to ended up together at one point.
