okay, so, bonesaw, miss riley grace davis. what are we looking at here? my coveted masterpiece, my labor of love: my dedicated bonesaw character design.

she is one of my favorite characters of all time, and i really wanted to give her a look that was visually striking and which represented a lot of what makes her unique, all organized in a way that was useful for other artists as well as myself.

my only important design note is that, although i did not draw it because i wanted clarity in the design sheet, of course she is always coated in blood and viscera :)

Very true, I’ve noticed that people use absolutes way too often and way too loosely nowadays. They have a hard time separating the minority to the majority.

We have got to take the word "skinhead" away from wormfic writers until they learn what it means. So many cool and sexy people needlessly slandered by authors who think having a particular haircut makes someone a nazi

Well, not really. The term skinhead has been a pretty popular word used to refer to neo-Nazis since the 1970’s, though of course this isn’t what it was originally used for. You can kinda just separate them into white power skinheads and punk skinheads. And also just people who shave their heads for fun (Casual skinheads).

Hard agree. Despite reading WORM in all of its cynicism, my favorite superhero remains to be Superman because of comics like Superman Smashes the Klan, Superman All Star, and Superman: Birthright. There are a lot of great stories out there, you just have to find the right ones.

Hot take, but as one of the original Worm-enjoyers on this site, can I just say that all the people saying that Worm "permanently destroys your capability to engage with superhero media" have never seriously engaged with superhero media in their lives. No, the MCU does not count as serious superhero media. One of the reasons that Worm has such a strong effect on people is that if your only exposure to cape stories is the MCU, then Worm is going to feel like heroin to you.
