(Brief Context: Mac's Second Strike is a fanmade concept for Punch-Out!! Wii, in which the opponents from Super Punch Out [with some new additions ofc] would slip back into their careers to face the up and coming Little Mac.)

Boxer Name: "Wheezer" Real Name: Model-346 Place Of Origin: Amsterdam, Netherlands Height: 5'7 Weight: 135lbs Circuit: Minor Circuit, 2nd place Bio: "The masterpiece of experienced German engineers working in Amsterdam, Wheezer is the first official "boxing robot" ever created. Originally lackluster in personality, he seems to have developed his own over time, based on the behavior of both the engineers and locals in Amsterdam. Thus, he is kind and polite, but prone to temperamental fits and periods of incredible emotional numbness. He can also tend to be incredibly erratic, which more so than not, scares the civilians around him. He is a robot, after all. Able to pick up on boxing techniques faster than any human, he is rather distractible, and his design is far from full proof. He breaks down often, needing the mechanical assistance of the referee to get back in the game. Many say a robot that can feel emotions is a recipe for disaster. But hey, …at least he's not Gabby Jay." Believed by most to be incapable of combat sports, he uses the movements of the air around him (along with his incredible hearing and smell) to best his opponents. His persona is themed around love, and some of his speech consists of him singing, a favored activity of his. However, despite the suave and charming attitude, many say there is a much darker side to him…" Win Record: 9-7 Quirks: Able to quickly sense movement in the air, keen sense of smell, strangely agile for someone who can't see Infractions: Irl you probably can't box in non disabled if you're blind, but besides that all that's against him is intimidation and instigation later in his fight against Mac. You could also get him for not taking the fight seriously earlier in the fight, as he seems very relaxed throughout. (he sings during most of the corner rests)

With questionable origins and a knowledge for the sport that predates some boxing careers, Heron is both well loved and extremely hated. Seeming to be perfect in every way, he is subject to lots of less than savory treatment, even from some of his fellow boxers. Because of this, he mostly stays close to Sandman, who is willing to defend him from any disgruntled passersby. His perfection and strength stem from a source that no one knows the truth of, and it is rumored that he may be an angel…Not a soul knows for sure." Win Record: 29-2 Quirks: Neck twitches and hangs occasionally, head does weird stuff also occasionally, mimics bird noises, actually has fucking angel wings in Title Defense, angelic luck. Akin to a modern day knight, Jishnu is willing to go out of his way to be kind, even if it means he gets hurt in the process. Main World Understanding

Our worldview in the original Punch Out is EXTREMELY limited, restraining us to simple cutscenes so we can focus on the fights at hand. This is basically the same as putting all this unexplored world in my lap and saying "do whatever" so I ran with it. Important Punch Out: Expanded World Details: -Magic is, at its core, an ambiguous word. In theory, it is the raw spirit a human possesses, taking form and reacting with the material world. Obviously Great Tiger is using magic, but this rule also applies to things some may think aren't magic. Piston Hondo's uncanny speed and hyper-vigilance? Magic. Don Flamenco being able to punch a bull into the sky? Magic. Glass Joe's ability to miraculously come back after 99 straight losses? Magic. Sandman's raw ability itself? Besides hardcore training, it's MAGIC. It's SPIRIT. That's what empowers some, if not all of the boxers, and therefore all people. I will go into magic lore in a later post. -The timeline is ambiguous. This isn't for a real reason, I'm just bad at math. Like. So bad. A math skill so HORRID It would kill Albert Einstein himself. So sorry if some of the info I lay out is off, just know I'm trying my hardest </3 -In POE (or PO = E/PO:E, all acronyms for this fanwrite/au), Doc is Mac's adoptive father. I will elaborate more later, but for now I will just say that Doc found him when he was a baby, after a horrific accident that took the lives of both of his parents. Since then, Mac has been living in the Bronx with him, and as of the beginning of Punch Out Wii, is 18 years old. I aged him up just the year so he'd, y'know, be legally allowed to box.

I know, I know, "how is all that other crazy stuff legal", it's not. It's just slick movement depending on the boxer. Plus, the WVBA outlawed people under the age of 18 from participating ever since a couple incidents kinda put the sport in a bad light...

-Like people, boxing evolves over time throughout the years which pass. I...don't have many details on this yet. -SPO Aran and Wii Aran are NOT the same person. The former goes by the name of Andrew, and is the older brother to Aran, as well as the oldest of their four siblings. Or...was, the oldest. -Pizza Pasta is renamed Peter Zachelli (actual name) as well as Pete Zepasta (stage name), because I do NOT want him named Pizza Pasta. That's crazy for a name lmao -I take creative liberties on some of these character's personalities, just because those which both predate AND are not featured in the Wii version lack a significant amount of it. This especially applies to Kid Quick and Pizza Pasta. -All backstory stuff, living environments, and anything we don't directly see, is created by yours truly. PHEW that was a lot of typing but I'm glad I could jot this down

Punch Out worldbuilding is so funny. At first it’s like yeah okay haha they made the referee Mario that’s kinda funny, but the series still seems to be grounded in reality. And then you realize that Donkey Kong canonically exists as a being with human level intelligence that’s allowed to box. And also squirrels and bears have achieved a level of sentience where they can consent to participating in boxing matches, too. And then there’s a magical catboy, what is he doing here? And Mike Tyson exists, too. Why is the boxing league called World Video Boxing Association? Do they know they’re in a video game? And if Sailor Moon exists in the Punch Out universe as fiction, but Mario, DK, and Mike Tyson are real people, what separates the line between fiction and reality here? Are there other real world people who exist in the Punch Out universe? Or people from other fictional universes? The series takes place in New York City; if Little Mac ran into Jerry Seinfeld, would he be actual celebrity Jerry Seinfeld, or Seinfeld Jerry Seinfeld, or Barry B. Benson? If all real celebrities are canon to the Punch Out universe, does this mean that Jim Creeggan could fight in the WVBA? Does Kittydog exist in the Punch Out universe????
