of course, he couldn’t wait to get to the hotel, but he was happy he didn’t have to lock himself into a shady motel. they deserved so much more than that, especially now. for once they were outta town, far away from all of their friends… and enemies. “katy perry’s bad?” he huffed, looking back at the road, frowning. “didn’t know that.”
her free hand traced over the fabric of her skirt, outlining the hem of the material and scrolling through some of the playlists. anything to keep her mind of him and those hands that were gripping the steering wheel.”you’re joking, you have to.. yeah of course your joking because, i would have to break up with you if you weren’t joking.”

“You’re my brother’s girlfriend, get over it,” he scoffed, “you should know you’re one of the better girlfriends Aiden’s had tho.” More like the best, but he was never gonna admit that. Usually, he couldn’t care less, unless his last “love” who ended up making him almost drown in liquor. “Such a warm welcome..”
“Fuck off,” she huffed under her breath, her eyes darting towards his trying to give him a sign of warning. “One of the better.... That was half a compliment,” she pointed to him. “What do you expect?”

“Don’t think I’m gonna turn down a compliment,” he mumbled whilst his thumb brushed across the top of her hand. “You’re lucky Blondie go rampage on bitches.” A low hum left his lips, sorta surprised when she mentioned getting a labrador. “A fit lab or a fat lab?” Raising an eyebrow, he looked down at her. “I don’t know about that. One day can mean a lotta things.”
Humming in response, she brought his hand up to her lips, pressing a soft kiss as she met his eyes. “She’s my fierce girl that’s for sure,” Juliet spoke, laughing at the thought of a bigger lab running around. “The big ones need homes too. Plus, it’s just more of them to love. Hey.. one day means soon to me.”

“For something you hate you sure don’t shut up about it. And someone that lives with a borderline alcoholic, you’re getting pretty close up there...”
“The best thing about this season is the mulled wine. And the selection of all sorts of Christmas alcohol in the supermarkets. That is the only thing that can get me in any sort of jolly mood. I fucking hate this season.” Charles said before he took a sip of his mulled wine.

she couldn’t really blame him. to ‘get it on’ on a motel bed which was already covered with god knows what was far from something he craved right now. especially not after telling her those three words. no, he’d rather wait, his mind was consistent on that one. “two songs, remember,” he mused after a moment of silence.
maybe she was just jumping the gun but the man she loved just told her that he loved her back and it was –– more than exciting for her. she grabbed his phone and opened his music library before looking up at him. “they can be shitty ones... right? like terrible, cut off your ears, katy perry kinda bad?”

Aiden could never say no to her, didn’t matter if they already had two dogs. They both knew they had enough time and love for more, and like she said; space of room on the bed. “I’m not gonna argue on that one,” he hummed, as well as puckering his lips when thinking about what kind of dog breed she’d want. The only thing he hoped for was for Blondie to accept it. “I do like me-sized-dogs,” he shrugged, “so we should go check that out one day?”
Yeah sure, she was spoiled but it wasn’t by anyone but him and while she was needy he seemed more than willing to give it to her. “You’re not?” She squeezed his hand, closing her eyes momentarily as she pressed onto him, mesmerized by his body heat. “Kinda want it to be a girl... Maybe a lab,” she shrugged. “You’re too good to me.”

“You think everyone’s annoying, so why fucking bother, like, calm your tits,” he shrugged, mimicking her face instantly. “Fine.” He kinda needed to get his stuff, so maybe he should just keep his mouth shut from now on.
“Jesus, I feel like you’re confused on how this works... You don’t talk to me like I’m one of the many girls that follows you around and lets you talk to them like that. So you calm your tits,” she mocked. Her smile faded as she rolled her eyes, strolling up to their building. “Welcome back, shit head.”

aiden didn’t know what to do with himself now she couldn’t seem to care less about where they ended up. he had looked forward to entering that big suite all day, but at the same time, his body wanted something else right now. “baby, you never care,” he hummed and palmed the top of her hand, the one on his thigh. “careful.”
juliet looked out at the road, a smile spreading on her lips as she applied pressure to his leg when he warned her. a thought sparked through her, maybe it would be nice to wait this one time, after all, how many times would they get to be in a five star hotel? “fine,” she mused growing closer to him, her lips pressed to his jaw. “we’ll wait for the hotel.”

“That’s why you’re still keeping up with my brother?” he huffed, smiling just for the hell of it. “What the fuck are you; my mom?” Rolling his eyes, he started to recognize the street. “Whatever, Juliet. You’re not in charge.”
“Oh shove it,” she huffed, shaking her head, already finding him too tiring. “What the shit, no, but you’re annoying like I imagine a child would be,” she narrowed her eyes, making a face at him. “And you’re not coming in if you tell me to shut up again.”

aiden pursed his lips when she answered. seeing as he already was too excited, she didn’t make it easy for him. “in the shower? well, alright,” he murmured with a brief snicker. “you wanna jump in a dirty motel room when we got a big suite waiting for us five minutes away?”
leaning her head on his shoulder, the girl put her hand on his leg, tracing the hem on the inner thigh. “honestly –– i don’t even care.”

Aiden smiled back at her once their eyes met. She seemed calm, at least she sure acted like it, and hopefully, she was. “Make me,” he hummed and pulled her tighter. “Yeah, I still don’t know why yall do that. And just because there’s more room in bed doesn’t mean we should get another dog, you know.”
If it wasn’t for his body keeping her warm, she’d be freezing right about now but as she got pulled closer the more relaxed she felt. She moved her head to have her lips next to his, pressing them to the corner of his mouth. “Because you’re the best pillow around and maybe... it should?”

“Alright,” he spoke along with a crooked smile. All that was missing now was a blanket, and then they would look like some hardcore American Christmas movie. Cheesy as hell, but now he couldn’t care less. He felt hella comfortable with her against his chest, with her solid heartbeat and warm body. “A creepy-ass schmuck,” he agreed, rolling his eyes while he was at it. “They’re the only lips I want, idiot.” His arms bumped her carefully, like a small tease. “Giant’s smart, he knows the bed’s comfortable as fuck… and Blondie, who I thought was smart, is sleeping in his bed. So, maybe just stick with those two assbutts.”
Closing her eyes for a moment, the girl kept her eyes on their legs and their hands. How much he hated her old boss always made her smile, only he could care so much about a tiny little man coming for her. “Shut up,” she smiled, turning her head to look at him. “There gonna be the only ones you get,” she praised looking at his green eyes. “Maybe we should but I think in our giant bed we all have enough room yet we all kinda gravitate towards you.

aiden backed up quickly and drove out of the lot, already seeing thousands of lights from the city in front of them. it was one thing do drive somewhere only to end up back home, but it was another thing to stay and see new things… with his girl. hell, he couldn’t complain at all. placing his hand on her thigh, his thumb grazed her skin meanwhile he kept looking ahead. “you know, i’m kinda hungry still,” he mentioned as they got closer and closer to the city. “might have to get some dessert when we get there.”
the one thing she loved about his car is that there wasn’t anything dividing the seats. gotta love old cars especially for that reason. her head resting on his shoulder, she couldn’t help but look up at him as the city lights danced on his skin. a radiant laugh left her lips, “yeah? i heard it tastes even better in the shower,” she shrugged, looking for any motel that they might pass. “the sooner you pull over the better it’ll feel.”

“Best idea I’ve heard all day,” he sighed and entwined his fingers with hers as soon as they touched. To relax like this was the best kind of relaxing. Better than holding a good, smoked glass of scotch in his hand, and that itself was heaven. Still, the circumstances could’ve been better - his girlfriend was still bruised up and had a hard time. Something he had to remind himself of constantly. “Yeah?” he asked for more, didn’t matter if art wasn’t his… thing. However, watching her make art was just awesome… and kinda hot. “You think? I got my favorite lips right here.” A certain turbulence arose in his body when being reminded of Ryan, thogh he wasn’t gonna let that ruin the rest of the night. “But I like Giant… hell, gimme a chihuahua, I don’t care.”
“I’ll call in a minute,” she told him, nuzzling to him her free hand going up to bunch his shirt in her hand as pain shifted through her briefly. This felt like heaven, like something she could rely on and look forward to. “Yeah, it was really cool, way better than where I used to work and the paintings my old boss used to paint. What a schmuck,” she mused. “You’re just saying that ‘cause they’re the only lips you got but yeah –– no. No chihuahua’s, they yap too much and Giant sleeps on us too often.”

aiden closed his eyes as he kept roaming her neck and collarbone with sloppy kisses. even though he tried not to gear himself up, he really couldn’t wait to get in the car, or maybe the hotel. that sounded way better; if it didn’t end up looking like some dirty brothel. his hands were halfway down her hips when suddenly hearing his name. normally, he’d take it as a confirmation to continue, but now, well. he knew they were showing too much for those inside the diner, wishing they would all just fuck off. “i know,” he let out in a huff as he took one step back, reaching his hand to grab her jaw gently. “you’re killing me.” with that being said, he glimpsed the diner one last time, noticing people turning their backs the second he did. “idiots,” he mumbled whilst walking around the car to open the door to the driver’s seat and started the engine.
the way his lips felt against her neck had her skin heat up, almost made her want to hook a leg around his waist and have him rip off her skirt there and then. only he could make her feel that way that quickly, it was those god damn lips of his. as he took a step back, she applauded him for it, he had more strength than she did and it was probably space to keep her from him than the other way around. but her body heated up once again as his hand came to her jaw and a devilish smile played on her lips, “good.” but with that she was left with him walking around as he sent out a hum, leaving her on a cloud 9 as she slipped into the car being as giddy as ever.

“You wanna bet?” Jax asked her. “Can you just fucking leave it? It’s nothing big.” This girl, she never gave up, it seemed. Maybe that’s why she was still with Aiden; never giving up. “I won’t, as long as you shut up about how much of a shit show it is.” If she’d only know how much shit he was doing.
“Yeah, I fuckin’ do,” she said, her eyes widening as he tempted her. “Have you met me? Leaving things is not what I’m known for.” Shaking her head, she crossed her arms. “Don’t tell me to shut up. Got it?”
