mithril’s physically mute due to an injury during the earthquake but can get around fine with aldarian sign language! i made it so that he learned a spell (kind of like spell of tongues in dnd) where people get to understand him for a short time. im writing his backstory in a longform fic and hope to explore his relationship with march (and his past!) then :- )

i've been working on "Hold your Fire” for a while!! this is where i plan to update my fields of mistria fic, centering around my fom farmer, mithril, and his upbringings before heading into mistria and when he does ultimately stay there! Hailed as one of the top students of the the Aldarian Magic Academy, Kioren always felt that his worth was tied to what he could do for others. His life seemed set in stone, destined for greatness and moving in a direction he cannot control. It was just a matter of getting there, he thought, and there wasn't anything his magic couldn't do without his mind put into it.

However, the wizarding student's convictions would soon be shaken, for reasons both life-changing and death-defying. After the events of the Great Alda Earthquake and a grounding message from a deity he's yet to know the name of, another life awaits him outside of the Capital walls, calling for him to visit the sleepy town of Mistria for reasons unknown to him.
