I ACC THINK I ALMOST SHIFTED TWO NIGHTS AGO. I WAS GOING TO BED I HADNT EVEN BEEN AFFIRMING OR ANYTHING I WASNT EVEN TRYING TO SHIFT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT I LITERALLY JUST WENT TO BED AFTER THINKING "i want to shift tonight" LITERALLY ONCE NOT EVEN RIGHT BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP AND OMFG I WAS FALLING ASLEEP AND I FELT ARMS AROUND MY WAIST. IT WASNT LIKE A PHANTOM FEELING KINDA LIKE YOU SOMETIMES FEEL LIKE THERES A BUG ON YOUR LEG BUT ITS JUST YOUR LEG HAIR MOVING AROUND IT WASNT THAT. I COULD DISTINCTLY FEEL THE WEIGHT OF THE ARM ON MY WAIST, AND I COULD VERY CLEARLY MAKE OUT THE FEELING OF THE FULL HAND STROKING MY BACK. IT WAS ACTUALLY CRAZY. I DIDNT REALLY THINK TO AFFIRM (mostly i was super out of it bcs ive been taking allergy meds due to my severe pollen allergy and this medication makes me super loopy and drowsy) BUT LIKE THIS WAS REAL. I COULD TELL IT WAS REAL. HOLY FUCK IM STILL EXCITED AF. IM GOING TO MY DR. IM GOING TF HOME YALL SAY UR GOODBYES BCS ONCE IM GONE IM GONE FOR GOOD YALL NOT FINNA BE SEEING MY ASS AGAIN👋👋👋HUSBAND TELL THE KIDS THAT DADDYS COMING HOME

I'm never going to tell people not to shift to hp because I seriously don't care if you shift there. you can shift wherever you want. but I do have a problem with the constant attention given to the series which then gives attention and money to the author who donates tens of thousands (minimum) to anti-trans organisations. shift to hp, I don't care. but stop promoting her and her shitty ass opinions. you're allowed to have a dr that you don't constantly post about or buy merch/products for, or engage with the author or her work.

This might be controversial but if you have a problem with anyone changing parts of their "identity" in their drs I'm just gonna assume you see yourself more as a human than a multidimensional being. I, personally, see myself (as a being, not the physical body I inhabit) as not identifying with any appearance, gender, sexuality, race, nationality/ethnicity, personality, moral compass, etc. Ofc I'm still having a human experience right now & all of those things come with it, but that's not who or what I am. I don't even see myself as a human. I am god having a human experience, which means I am simultaneously everything at once & nothing at all. But if y'all wanna see yourself as one limited thing, feel free 🤷‍♀️

Stop Procrastinating Shifting Nah, you're not "waiting for the right time", you're just avoiding your own power and I love you, but get the fuck up and do something. We are all out here saying we want to shift. We believe in it (more or less for some people). We yearn and dream about or DR, about that hot looking, successful and potentially emotionally stable version of ourselves. But lets take a look at what we are actually doing a lot of times. Scrolling through shifting posts.... again. Because we haven't done that the last few days, huh? Re-reading the same LoA post hoping it hits a bit different this time (it doesn't). Shuffling unnecessary shit around in our scripts, because changing where the "About Me" section is will unlock the cheat code to the multiverse somehow. Telling ourselves "I'll do it tonight if the vibes feel right". And then we fall asleep before we get the second affirmation out because we pushed back sleeping and trying for 4 hours at this point. Busted, huh? When we are constantly doing that, we are neither manifesting nor shifting, we are just mentally pacing in circles like a neurotic racoon. This isn't preparing... it's procrastinating. I say this with all the love I can come up with after only 4 hours of sleep: There is no perfect attempt. You just need to fucking start doing something. The chances you will shift by only tweaking your script over and over and over again, waiting for something to happen, are rather low. The chances you will wake up one day and say "Yes! I have been enlightened and now I am ready!" in regards to shifting are also low. Because you are already ready! You have been from the moment you got the definition of shifting thrown your way. I think most of us are just scared to fuck it up and "fail". Of course it's sometimes scary to want something so bad it makes us cry and all we can do is manifest and hope for the best. But delaying that shit won't make that scary feeling go away. It just gives doubts more time to invade your thoughts. Can we all agree to drop the thought of needing a 27 step pre shifting routine, stop pretending that we need to be "in the right headspace" while trying to shift and to stop expecting motivation to just suddenly appear like a convenient divine ass-kicking as if it is needed? Yeah? Great. We'll just start anyway. Picking some random fucking method, doesn't matter which one. Saying our affirmations even if we feel like a delusional nutjob. Just.. trying. Doing something, anything really. Even if we suck at focusing or visualizing. Just do it anyway. Showing up and doing something even if it is not perfect is pulling your brain away from being scared of fucking it up. Build that momentum. We shift through starting and doing, not through running away from shifting ^-^

holy shit everything makes so much sense. i was going through your posts and i noticed a theme— you commonly say to "direct your awareness" but my question was to what? but the answer has always been to your DR. i thought i was doing this, but i really wasnt. the problem has always been the same.
in this post, you say that the first change is always that, at some point, you started thinking as your DR self. you also say "...some people expect their 3D to change first, like they're expecting to start feeling their DR with their CR body or something, which (for me) has never been the case."
what im trying to say that is, for many shifters, especially those from shifttok, we expect the first change to be in the environment, not in our thoughts, because 2020-2022 shifting methods always ended with smth like "when you feel your surroundings change, you've shifted" and that was the defining factor for shifting or not. so we dont even think to change our thoughts while in the middle of the method because the confirmation supposedly comes from the senses. it felt like trying to convince yourself that your surroundings have changed but you could still very much feel that your bed was the same. and if you think your bed is the same, you're thinking from your CR. this is how it was for me, at least.
but the confirmation comes from the natural change in thought. thats what sets everything off, if im reading your posts correctly. and that makes a lot of sense. you said theres either pure awareness, absence of awareness, or destabilized awareness. if youre pure awareness, you cant feel the 3D. if you have no awareness, you cant feel the 3D. if you have destabilized awareness, you cant feel the 3D accurately, and even that is enough.
so if you cant feel the 3D at all or accurately, then it cant be the defining factor for shifting. the defining factor here is you.

hiii and yes, i think that makes sense! when you are shifting, it is your awareness that shifts, not your CR body. so i think some people may hinder themselves because they're constantly trying to feel their DR with their CR nerves. for some people that might work (i don't actually know) but for others it seems to simply ground them here, focusing on their CR senses. you do not need to make yourself "feel" or fabricate "senses" of DR with your CR body and brain, your awareness will shift to your DR and then your DR body naturally feels and thinks in your DR. that's how i see it anyways!

some of you guys need to realise there is a difference between your consciousness and your brain
your consciousness is you - your awareness, your essence - but your brain is just the physical organ processing experiences in each reality. when you shift, you’re moving your consciousness into a different version of yourself, one with a different brain shaped by different life experiences. that means some things won’t feel exactly the same. your thought patterns, instincts, even personality might be different because they were formed by a different life. maybe a food you dislike here is your favorite there, or a skill you struggle with now comes naturally.
“when i first shift i’m gonna be so freaked out!” well, no. the moment you shift, your consciousness seamlessly integrates into the brain of that reality, making it feel completely natural. It won’t feel like some sudden, jarring experience; it’ll just feel like you’ve always been there, like a natural continuation of your life in that reality.
“i’m gonna be so awkward around my friends at first” nope. there’s nothing to ‘get used to’ because your brain in that reality already knows them. their mannerisms, inside jokes, and history with you will feel completely natural - just like any other day speaking to your friends.
so lets cut out all of the ‘omg i met them and they realised something was off’ or ‘omg i almost had a panic attack when i first shifted i was so shocked’ because that’s just not how it works. there’s no dramatic reveal, no awkward adjustment period. you’re simply there, living as if you always have been.

You’re a life saving, really, the way you explain things just make so much sense, and I really needed someone to say “no, it’s not that you didn’t want hard enough”. I was getting so unmotivated because of that kind of thought, but then you came and changed everything 💕
Anyways, my current problem is, I’ve been trying to get to the pure awareness state, but when I’m trying to do that, my brain simply won’t stop playing songs. No matter how much I try to let go of that, I just can’t make it stop.
Any ideas of what to do??

for your question, i think this is something about meditation and pure awareness that people misunderstand (in my opinion, at least.) the goal is not to shut your brain up and force it to stop thinking. your brain is a body part, just like your eyes, your ears, and your skin. your ears will continue to hear. your eyes will continue to see, even when closed. your skin will continue to feel. and your brain will continue to think. when you're in the state of pure awareness, your body and brain do not cease to function, you're just not aware of them anymore. you don't need to stop your brain from playing songs, but you can practice gently redirecting your attention/awareness, sort of like putting music on and then not really listening to it because you're doing something else.
if you like to visualize, maybe picture the song like it's flowing in a wind current high above you while you sink into a lake, or picture a music box and close it, and put it away. (it doesn't matter what you choose to visualize, those were random examples.) the music may continue and your brain will still be "listening" the same way your eardrum is still physically "hearing" when you're asleep and not aware of it. let it. acknowledge, and redirect your awareness.
