Which type gets bored more easily?
i wrote a lot in response to this and then felt like my answer needed to be spiced up a bit so i made a graph:

there’s basically only three points here: - extroverts get bored more easily than introverts- dominant extroverted perceiving types and dominant extroverted judging types get bored for different reasons- si is kinda like an “antiboredom” function
(notice how the types are all concentrated in only 2 out of 4 quadrants? that’s cus MBTI was created around the idea that nobody is wildly unbalanced between introversion and extroversion - that you can’t have an extroverted percieving function and an extroverted judging function right next to each other. so the extremes of this chart go uninhabited.)
i’d say when people think “bored” they mean “unsatisfied with the external stimulation currently available to them”, like the left hand axis, not “prevented in some way from doing things out in the world like they’d like to”, like the top axis. this means that ExxPs get bored the easiest. however, if you’re trying to type yourself/someone else from the fact that they’re easily bored, you’ll want to consider the entire stupid green zone.
tl;dr:
ESTP / ESFPENTP / ENFPISTP / ISFPENTJ / ENFJINTP / INFPESTJ / ESFJINTJ / INFJISTJ / ISFJ
#mbti#ask#anonymous#mine#I'D SAY#that perceiving types are more likely to be bored as a kind of lifestyle#especially ExxPs and ESPECIALLY Ne doms#who tend to disavow their inferior Si loudly and publicly#and obnoxiously#however#all the ENxJs i know exhibit a lot of 'bored person behaviors' even though their daily life probably includes less actual boredom

reasons why ISTJs are Hades:
outwardly unemotional, but have a soft side
aggressively level headed and reasonable at all times
always do solid work and don’t cause drama, which is why no one ever hears about them
except once a century when they’re seized by a fit of romantic passion and start making stupid choices
just want to chill in low-light environments with their dog

hades is an ISTJ
hades isn’t a badass. hades named his three-headed-guard-of-the-underworld-dog spot. hades whispers to his flowers to make them grow. hades grows fruit. there’s no sun in the underworld.
hades isn’t a badass. stop saying this false thing

Distinguishing Introverted Perceiving from Introverted Judging
Some Introverts can be hard to peg, especially INxx types.
A good way to tell the difference whether their dominant function is a Perceiving function (Ni or Si) or a Judging function (Fi or Ti) is in the way they ask questions about things that come up in conversation.
Those with Fi or Ti as the dominant function will usually ask questions with a concept already formed in their minds - they will ask “is that in [place]?” or “does that happen because [reason]”?
Those with Ni or Si are more likely to ask “where is that?” or “why does that happen?”

How would you go about typing someone else without asking them direct questions like "do you prefer introversion or extroversion?!?1!1?1?"
I personally find it easier to type someone just by observing the way they go about their life than by asking them questions directly. Certain behaviors stand out to me as hallmarks of a specific type or function, and I can use process of elimination to narrow it down from there.
Do they pride themselves on their practicality (Si, S with T)? Do they tend to believe that they’re the most qualified person to solve a problem (T)? Do they like getting into debates (Ne, Ti)? Do they tend to act emotional (F)? When discussing an issue, how likely are they to play devils advocate or look at the problem from different points of view (Ne, Ti)? Do they like to argue for the hell of it (Ne, Ti), or do they believe that arguing without a goal is pointless and derailing (Si and Ni to a degree, but Te especially)? How likely are they to go into an experience with a plan in mind (J)? Do they feel comfortable when others around them are showing strong emotions (F, especially Fe)? Do they consider themselves good at consoling others and giving advice (Fe)? Are they comfortable offending other people (low/no Fe)? Do they like solving puzzles/problems for fun (Ti)? Do they tend to take things at face value (Se)? Do they tend to draw discussions towards what’s concrete and known (S)? Does their idea of a fun time most often involve something exciting and pleasurable on the sensory level (ie, climbing a mountain, creating a painting, getting drunk or high, driving a fast car - Se) or on the theoretical level (learning a new concept, creating a board game or a fictional universe, debating or discussing ideas - Ne)? How often do they change up their routine - a lot, resulting in them being kind of a mess (Ne, sometimes Se), or not often, resulting in them seeming to always know what they are doing (Si, sometimes Ni)? Do they do things a lot, for example get involved with their community (Te, especially dom Te)? Are they quick to take charge of a situation (Te)? Do they get righteous about things (Fi, anywhere)? Do they always know how they feel about a given situation (F, especially Fi)?
A single yes to one of these questions isn’t a definite sign that a person is a certain type, but enough answers together can start to create a pretty accurate picture.
